The welcoming atmosphere is felt as soon as you enter Burlingham House . There is a pleasant easy flow around the communal rooms . Staff are engaged in different ways with residents and you see many smiles and hear lots of laughter.My aunt went to Burlingham for respite this February and has remained there . In that time she has gained much needed weight thanks to the plentiful and nutritious meals and snacks on offer .I have seen her eating meals I never saw her eat before . I know that her tastes are catered for down to her requests for a bit of toast or biscuits .She has mixed dementia with profound memory loss but with the kindly reassurance from the staff she is frequently happy and taking part in the many activities the team provide .She always looks presentable and appears so much happier in many moments. Haircuts ,nail care , district nurses ,GP visits are all arranged by the team and I am kept informed.I do feel reassured that she is respected and cared for in Burlingham House

I have the greatest respect for all the staff and management at Feltwell Lodge. This includes carers, cleaners, handymen. The staff have tremendous patience and treat all the residents with great care and respect, and some are difficult. The whole place inside and out is always clean and tidy. The rooms are all excellent and clean. Feltwell Lodge already has a very good reputation and it is obvious the pleasant staff intend to keep it so. I would have no hesitation in recommending Feltwell Lodge to anyone needing care for their family and brokenhearted that my wife has dementia but am happy she could not have been in a better home. I feel the future is in good hands.

My mum had mixed dementia and she spent the last 9 months of her life being cared for at Burlingham House. She settled in really quickly and loved her room and all the wonderful activities. As a family we cannot thank and praise the staff enough for their dedication, compassion, friendliness and how they attended to all her needs. The warm environment, cleanliness and atmosphere within the home is exceptional and we would have no hesitation in recommending this lovely care home to other people.

My nan has been very well looked after. The staff are always very welcoming, polite and will offer drinks etc. They are helpful and are patient. Nan is social, and they have staff who are engaging and encourage her to engage with activities. Thank you Lisa and the team, for providing an outstanding duty of care.

I really enjoyed today at the home, the staff were very friendly, everyone looked like they were having a great time eating and drinking cream tea. I feel happy about my nana staying here.

The rooms and toilets are always clean and well equipped. It's really nice to know that mom is cared for and safe.

I am very impressed with the level of care my dad receives on a daily basis. The staff are all amazing and have an incredible amount of patience.

My Father who has Alzheimer's, went to Burlingham House at the beginning of February 2026. All the staff are amazing, and it's so clean. His en-suite room is immaculate. His clothes are always clean. The varied activities that my father can participate in, are wonderful, for his mind and happiness. Since he has been in there, he seems much more contented and happy. They made a beautiful birthday cake for his birthday, and gave him presents. The food is amazing, a great range of meals. In the room where he spend his days, there is always a member of staff present. I cannot fault Burlingham house in anyway. So again, I would like to thank everyone at Burlingham house for looking after my dad, it gives us peace of mind that he is being looked after so well

The care provided to my mother by Feltwell Lodge has transformed her life, which has in turn, given us, her family, peace of mind. She is in a better place mentally than she has been for the past several years. I cannot express in words the gratitude we collectively have for Feltwell Lodge and its staff. I cannot believe how lucky my mum has been to have been cared for by such kind people. Thank you!

My wife has been a resident at Feltwell Lodge since October 2023. She has a very nice room, recently redecorated. She has dementia and can be difficult at times, but the care given is excellent. The staff have compassion and understand the residents' problems. The range of activities is good, my wife likes the musical turns and coaching animals. The food is good, and I, at times, have dinner with my wife; a very nice cake was made for us on our wedding anniversary. All in all, it is reassuring knowing my wife is safe and being well cared for. If there is a problem, the home informs me straight away.

I enjoy visiting my mum at the home, she is happy and comfortable. Staff are always helpful, talking and engaging with all residents. My mum likes to take part in all activities during the day. The home is always neat and tidy when I visit. My mum's room is well equipped with everything she needs. I am confident that my mum is safe and well cared for at the home.

Fantastic, I would highly recommend this care home.

This review is not about preventing death, which we understood was expected. It is about communication at a critical moment and the importance of informing family promptly when end-of-life signs are present. After her death, we asked for clarification as to why no phone call was made, but this has not been clearly explained still to date. Would encourage families to ensure that end-of-life communications are clear

Mum has been in Burlingham house for 5 months now and seems settled and happy.The staff are amazing, kind, compassionate, caring, funny and above all look after my Mum with respect. I feel the pressure taken off me and can now enjoy quality time with mum.They keep me informed of any/all changes in mum's well-being. The choice of meals is great, and plenty of variety. They have plenty of activities to do , should they choose to participate. I feel happy that my mum is being well cared for with good people and a beautiful home to live in.

Mum has been a resident at Burlingham for around 4 months now she's settled in really quickly , all the staff are friendly and helpful they are looking after mum really well . She has a lovely room looking onto the garden and has different activities to do each day which I know she loves . It's a joy to see her so settled in such a nice place . Thanks to all the team at Burlingham you really are a great bunch of people
