The welcoming atmosphere is felt as soon as you enter Burlingham House . There is a pleasant easy flow around the communal rooms . Staff are engaged in different ways with residents and you see many smiles and hear lots of laughter.My aunt went to Burlingham for respite this February and has remained there . In that time she has gained much needed weight thanks to the plentiful and nutritious meals and snacks on offer .I have seen her eating meals I never saw her eat before . I know that her tastes are catered for down to her requests for a bit of toast or biscuits .She has mixed dementia with profound memory loss but with the kindly reassurance from the staff she is frequently happy and taking part in the many activities the team provide .She always looks presentable and appears so much happier in many moments. Haircuts ,nail care , district nurses ,GP visits are all arranged by the team and I am kept informed.I do feel reassured that she is respected and cared for in Burlingham House

I moved into the Orwell following 12 months of hospital and rehab stays. I have been made to feel very welcome and am delighted to be living with my sister! I feel very fortunate to have such lovely people around me - I have witnessed how caring and supportive they are over visits with my sister! Thank you from me and the rest of my family.

the staff are amazing, they are really good with my stepdad, as he can be very difficult, just fantastic, they make me and my family feel welcomed, offering tea or soft drinks, i feel it's like a home from home, we take my stepdad out in the garden which has some chairs and table so we can all sit with him, this is an amazing care home.

Dad has been in care for a year now. He seems settled. He has a great rapport with management and carers. I'm forever grateful when I see him smile at them . Leaving Dad hurts my heart but I know it's the best place for his needs. I find certain carers extremely efficient and caring towards dad . They always try to put a smile on his face and make him laugh . For all this I'm truly thankful

We moved our mother into the Orwell Care Home about two weeks ago, and she hasn't stopped having a good time (her words not mine). The Carers are lovely, and very friendly and mum is being well looked after. She is enjoying the Company and the lovely home Cooked food. Thankyou everyone for looking after her so well, it's so nice to not worry about her

Mum tells us she is well cared for and has everything she needs, loves her room and the large window overlooking the garden where all the games and events happen. Mum does not need to join in but loves to watch.

I have the greatest respect for all the staff and management at Feltwell Lodge. This includes carers, cleaners, handymen. The staff have tremendous patience and treat all the residents with great care and respect, and some are difficult. The whole place inside and out is always clean and tidy. The rooms are all excellent and clean. Feltwell Lodge already has a very good reputation and it is obvious the pleasant staff intend to keep it so. I would have no hesitation in recommending Feltwell Lodge to anyone needing care for their family and brokenhearted that my wife has dementia but am happy she could not have been in a better home. I feel the future is in good hands.

Home is spotlessly clean, staff can't do enough for residents, kind, happy & patient. Dining room nice and spacious and airey good food also.

I'm very pleased with how my Dad is being looked after at The Orwell. The staff are caring, helpful and respectful to the residents. The staff are also engaging and friendly to everyone and there are activities for the residents to help them engage with the care staff and the other residents. I feel confident that my Dad is being well looked after and I have no hesitation in recommending this residential care home.

My husband has settled in well to this home. The family has been very pleased with the friendliness and accessibility of the staff. We have also appreciated their caring attitude.

My mum had mixed dementia and she spent the last 9 months of her life being cared for at Burlingham House. She settled in really quickly and loved her room and all the wonderful activities. As a family we cannot thank and praise the staff enough for their dedication, compassion, friendliness and how they attended to all her needs. The warm environment, cleanliness and atmosphere within the home is exceptional and we would have no hesitation in recommending this lovely care home to other people.

My nan has been very well looked after. The staff are always very welcoming, polite and will offer drinks etc. They are helpful and are patient. Nan is social, and they have staff who are engaging and encourage her to engage with activities. Thank you Lisa and the team, for providing an outstanding duty of care.

I really enjoyed today at the home, the staff were very friendly, everyone looked like they were having a great time eating and drinking cream tea. I feel happy about my nana staying here.

The rooms and toilets are always clean and well equipped. It's really nice to know that mom is cared for and safe.

I am very impressed with the level of care my dad receives on a daily basis. The staff are all amazing and have an incredible amount of patience.
