Mum tells us she is well cared for and has everything she needs, loves her room and the large window overlooking the garden where all the games and events happen. Mum does not need to join in but loves to watch.

I have the greatest respect for all the staff and management at Feltwell Lodge. This includes carers, cleaners, handymen. The staff have tremendous patience and treat all the residents with great care and respect, and some are difficult. The whole place inside and out is always clean and tidy. The rooms are all excellent and clean. Feltwell Lodge already has a very good reputation and it is obvious the pleasant staff intend to keep it so. I would have no hesitation in recommending Feltwell Lodge to anyone needing care for their family and brokenhearted that my wife has dementia but am happy she could not have been in a better home. I feel the future is in good hands.

Home is spotlessly clean, staff can't do enough for residents, kind, happy & patient. Dining room nice and spacious and airey good food also.

I'm very pleased with how my Dad is being looked after at The Orwell. The staff are caring, helpful and respectful to the residents. The staff are also engaging and friendly to everyone and there are activities for the residents to help them engage with the care staff and the other residents. I feel confident that my Dad is being well looked after and I have no hesitation in recommending this residential care home.

My husband has settled in well to this home. The family has been very pleased with the friendliness and accessibility of the staff. We have also appreciated their caring attitude.

My mum had mixed dementia and she spent the last 9 months of her life being cared for at Burlingham House. She settled in really quickly and loved her room and all the wonderful activities. As a family we cannot thank and praise the staff enough for their dedication, compassion, friendliness and how they attended to all her needs. The warm environment, cleanliness and atmosphere within the home is exceptional and we would have no hesitation in recommending this lovely care home to other people.

My nan has been very well looked after. The staff are always very welcoming, polite and will offer drinks etc. They are helpful and are patient. Nan is social, and they have staff who are engaging and encourage her to engage with activities. Thank you Lisa and the team, for providing an outstanding duty of care.

I really enjoyed today at the home, the staff were very friendly, everyone looked like they were having a great time eating and drinking cream tea. I feel happy about my nana staying here.

The rooms and toilets are always clean and well equipped. It's really nice to know that mom is cared for and safe.

Very pleased with how mum has settled in she has only there about 3wks. Staff are very friendly and understanding of mums needs. Room is pleasant & light well appointed, mum has been able to have several of her possessions which helps make things more familiar. Mum enjoys talking to staff and likes her room

I cannot praise The Orwell enough!

Made to feel very welcome from first visit - and throughout Mum's stay. Manager and staff extremely friendly and helpful - nice sense of humour and very gentle and patient with Mum. Mum loves the food, the carers, her long hot baths! She settled in really well and has already made new friends.

My mother in law has been living at Orwell Care Home for a couple of months now. Tania and the team are amazing. They cannot do enough to help and take care of their residents. We have not met one staff member that doesn't have a smile on their face. It's always clean and tidy and the food is good too. My father is in care home in Felixstowe which is also amazing and equally as good. Due to this we have experience as a family of other homes and have used other care homes in Felixstowe for respite along with seeing round another. Both Orwell Care Home and my father's are both far superior in the way they are run and the day to day care provided. We feel extremely grateful that we found Orwell Care Home. Huge thanks also to Devon, Tina, Precious, Orla, Thomas, Esther, Bianca. Keep up the very good work

This wonderful home has made it very comfortable for my mother in law to settle into a care home setting . The staff are all so friendly and nothing is too much trouble . The giggles we have are contagious with residents and staff alike . Her room is spacious and has everything she needs . Would recommend this home highly.

I cannot express how strongly I feel about the true staff dedication I have witnessed on numerous occasions during my visits. My friend always said staff were kind, friendly, helpful & professional. The home was always clean never smelt and all staff interacted with residents in a way like they would treat their own parents & grandparents. There was regular music to stimulate residents & total 24 hour a day accessibility to visitors. I would highly recommend Orwell & be happy to be a resident if my needs met the requirements.

My Father who has Alzheimer's, went to Burlingham House at the beginning of February 2026. All the staff are amazing, and it's so clean. His en-suite room is immaculate. His clothes are always clean. The varied activities that my father can participate in, are wonderful, for his mind and happiness. Since he has been in there, he seems much more contented and happy. They made a beautiful birthday cake for his birthday, and gave him presents. The food is amazing, a great range of meals. In the room where he spend his days, there is always a member of staff present. I cannot fault Burlingham house in anyway. So again, I would like to thank everyone at Burlingham house for looking after my dad, it gives us peace of mind that he is being looked after so well

The care provided to my mother by Feltwell Lodge has transformed her life, which has in turn, given us, her family, peace of mind. She is in a better place mentally than she has been for the past several years. I cannot express in words the gratitude we collectively have for Feltwell Lodge and its staff. I cannot believe how lucky my mum has been to have been cared for by such kind people. Thank you!
