Both my Mum & Dad moved here in January. Staff are kind and they are both so well looked after. Lovely to see them both taking part in all the activities the Home provides for the residents. They enjoy the weekly trips to the local community centre/library plus had a lovely day out at the City Farm.
Nice to see photos of the activities posted on social media
It is such a relief to know they are now in a clean, safe, environment.
Staff and Manager are welcoming when we visit and always available for a chat & update.

I have a little dog (their granddaughter) and the Home allow her to accompany us on visits.

My dad moved here from hospital about five weeks ago and we've been really happy with the care provided by the team. The staff are lovely, very experienced, and genuinely care about the residents. They look after all his medical needs and even take him to hospital appointments, which is a huge help. There are activities every day and they also take residents on trips out which is amazing. We're so grateful for everything the care team do.

My Aunt first moved to HighCroft Care Home in October 2025 when my Uncle passed away unexpectedly. HighCroft staff were welcoming, they reassured my Aunt and us as a family that she would be looked after. In the following months after visits to HighCroft Care Home and social media posts we could see she had settled in her new home. Smiling, enjoying days out, visits to the cinema, the local community hub as well as all the activities within the HighCroft setting, including flower arranging and Easter eggs for all the residents at Easter. We were on holiday earlier in the year and wouldn't be able to see my Aunt on her birthday, we sent presents and cards to HighCroft for her and asked if these could be passed onto her. We then received videos and photos while on holiday of my Aunt on her birthday opening her presents, which was so nice to see. She even had a personalised birthday cake made by the staff. I genuinely could not have asked for better people to be caring for my Aunt.

My mum has been a resident at Highcroft for 5 years. They provide lots of activities and encourage all the residents to take part. The home had a packed schedule of activities for December and they took my mum to the cinema which she enjoyed. I feel that they do take good care of her. She is always well presented and the facilities are always very clean. And they make sure that she is eating and drinking regularly.
Overall, I would say that all the staff are dedicated to providing the highest level of care to the residents.

My father in law has been resident at Highcroft for almost three months. Prior to moving in her had started to become quite confused and had neglected to care for himself. The transformation has been remarkable and we are relieved that he is safe and being cared for.

My father in law has been resident at Highcroft for almost three months. Prior to moving in her had started to become quite confused and had neglected to care for himself. The transformation has been remarkable and we are relieved that he is safe and being cared for.
Staff are friendly, conscientious and helpful. I note that his bedding is changed on a very regular basis, he is eating well and staff ensure he is hydrated and active. He is clean shaven, has regular haircuts and visits from medical professionals. Highcroft was chosen partly because it is close to where we live which means we can visit regularly.

Residents are encouraged to visit the library and local community centre. There are lots of wonderful Christmas activities planned including a pantomime visit that we will encourage dad to take part is. Our relief at seeing him so well looked after is considerable. We're grateful to the wonderful team for all they do.

My aunt has been a resident at Highcroft for almost six years now and we are extremely happy with the care given there. Although my aunt's dementia is quite advanced, Tosin and the team give her the care and support she needs, encouraging her to try and do small things herself as opposed to doing everything for her therefore demonstrating the patience needed to look after people with additional care needs. Throughout the year, special events are held where family and friends can come together and be part of The Highcroft Family. The support is also extended to us (family) in our times of need.

It's very difficult when loved ones have to go into care however, Tosin and the staff offer the reassurance needed.

My dad has been at Highcroft for a month now and the care he's received has been transformational. The staff have been so welcoming and caring, and have not only looked after him brilliantly but also supported me so kindly, offering empathy and practical support in this difficult time while we're coming to terms with dad's dementia. Tosin and the whole team at Highcroft are lovely - they make every effort to get to know each resident's needs, preferences, likes and dislikes and bring everyone into the fold, making them their favourite snacks, getting them involved in activities and social interaction. It's been so good for my dad - he'd not been looking after himself and it's so wonderful to see him with nice trimmed hair and clean shaven, looking as dapper as he used to! THANK YOU HIGHCROFT!

My mother became a resident in Highcroft earlier this year and my brother and I are extremely pleased with the care she has received since being there. All of the staff including the manager and owners are professional, approachable and caring. The residents are treated with dignity and respect. There are regular outings, including visits to the library and also daily activities that take place in the home that we are able to view on social media with my mother taking part.
It is also satisfying to see that her mobility has improved considerably since she moved there as she has more space to move around in.

We recently attended the summer barbecue held in the garden at the home and a great time was had by all residents, family and staff.

Overall Experience
I am very pleased with the care that is given to my relative, she seems a lot happier in herself and has put weight on. The staff are very friendly and she gets on with them all. She is able to communicate with the other residents and enjoys the constant company.

Mum has been a resident here since July 2023. She appears to have settled really well and have observed her mixing with other residents. Her eating and sleep patterns also seem to have improved. Staff at the home are welcoming and friendly and seem to be supporting Mother appropriately. I would...
Mum has been a resident here since July 2023. She appears to have settled really well and have observed her mixing with other residents. Her eating and sleep patterns also seem to have improved.
