My Dad was a resident at Dothan House for 10 years the longest residing resident until he passed away in March 2018, when myself and my husband first brought Dad to Dothan house we didn't know what to expect but after being shown around we were reassured throughout his time there he was cared for with
respect and dignity always smartly dressed and clean they also had many activities for all the residents even taking them out on trips we would like to thank all the staff and management for caring for Dad

When my mother's dementia reached the point that she needed continuous support Dothan House was recommended to us as the place where she would receive the best care and attention for as long as it would be needed. This was a very difficult decision for us but from the moment we visited Dothan House
we were absolutely sure it would be perfect for her.
The staff are fantastic! Nothing is too much trouble for them and they all clearly love what they do for people who need round-the-clock help every day. All residents are treated with the utmost dignity and respect and are looked after with great compassion.
The ever smiling staff know everyone's likes and dislikes and make sure that residents every need is met, whatever that may be! In addition, there are always plenty activities going on to interest residents and make sure they are both stimulated and entertained.
Sadly my mother passed away recently but we will be forever grateful to the staff of Dothan House for everything they did for her.

The manager and her team were absolutely fantastic in caring for my mum when she stayed at Dothan House during Jan/Feb 2017. The staff clearly love their jobs and are excellent at them. They treated my mum with compassion, dignity, care, and always with a smile. I can't really fault the level of care
and dedication to the job. For example, someone would even wash her feet on a regular basis! I just wish more people in this world approached life as they do - it would definitely be a better place. Maybe I'll come and stay there myself one day! Thanks again to the manager and all the staff at Dothan House. My mum misses you all so much already x

I am pleased with the level of care that my wife receives from all of the staff at Dothan House. They are caring and helpful and always welcoming. I am confident that her needs are being met by compassionate staff that take the time to get to know my wife and her needs. It was a difficult decision to
put my wife who has early onset Alzheimer's into a home, but I get full reassurance from Dothan House that her needs her met.

I feel that my mother was given the best care possible for her last 18 months of her life while suffering from dementia. She was safe, warm, clean, well fed and entertained as much as could be.

Myself and my sisters and brother chose Dothan House from many care homes available to us in the South East of England and were very happy with the quality of care provided.
My father was provided with dedicated one to one care meeting his individual needs from the moment he entered the care home until
he passed away six months later.
The care staff seemed to genuinely care for him and made his comfort and well being their priority.
We were particularly impressed by some of the senior care staff and the manager who were always willing, available and skilled in all areas, providing one to one personalised care to my father and the other residents.
The staff were always willing to go the extra mile and tailor the service provided to the desires and needs of my father and his family.
