My step mother has been at The Gables for over 2 months now and I can only praise the way she has been treated. All the staff are amazing. They treat the residents as equal and always have time for a quick chat which is very important to them. The food is very good and well presented. Occasionally,...
My step mother has been at The Gables for over 2 months now and I can only praise the way she has been treated. All the staff are amazing. They treat the residents as equal and always have time for a quick chat which is very important to them. The food is very good and well presented. Occasionally, my step mother can't sleep and even the night staff are very kind and ask her if she would like to go downstairs with them for a while. So overall, I have nothing but praise for The Gables and the way the manager runs it.

Having visited other care homes, when we entered The Gables you could feel the friendliness of everyone. Staff and residents were smiling and happy. Everyone was helpful and made you feel at home. Mum, who was very reluctant to go into a care home has been happier than we have seen her for many...
Having visited other care homes, when we entered The Gables you could feel the friendliness of everyone. Staff and residents were smiling and happy. Everyone was helpful and made you feel at home. Mum, who was very reluctant to go into a care home has been happier than we have seen her for many months. All my questions were dealt with in a very professional manner and I cannot praise staff and management too highly.

Overall Experience
My mother-in-law is treated well and is always treated with respect. She is always clean and tidy and her room is always clean and tidy. The staff are excellent and always kind and helpful.
