Charlton House

My mother has been a resident in Charlton House for 6 1/2 years. During this time the staff have done a magnificent job looking after Mum. Mum has been very happy living in Charlton House. The staff are very kind and caring, not only to my Mum but from my observations of all the other residents. The management and staff are very professional and patient carrying out their tasks which can be difficult, but always try to maintain a family atmosphere within the home. The staff are very prompt seeking help from the doctors if needed. The food is freshly cooked and Mum is always telling me that she enjoys it very much. The staff are always very welcoming to us and keep us informed. I would have no hesitation recommending Charlton House because family members are well looked after.

Find staff very helpful and good with residents, but have only had a short amount of time to assess them (4 wks).

The best thing about Charlton House is the staff. My brother arrived there in pain and hence with challenging behaviour. Their care has brought his pain under control and reduced the need for painkillers. My brother is now much calmer and back to normal.

This is the best home I have seen nothing to much trouble for any of the staff. Very safe, clean and friendly home from home would recommend to anyone.
