Northfield House

It is not the fanciest home but they are usually run by large companies using agency staff and proritising profit - it is the staff that are key.

Mum has been a resident since May 2024. Going into care was difficult for mum and us but the staff are so caring she soon settled in and we felt relieved she was safe and looked after. The carers are amazing, they will always have a chat with you and they are lovely with mum whose dementia has sadly worsened. Even though mum is less able to understand where she is she feels safe and cared for. The staff will always make you a drink and make you feel welcome. The management team are also very caring people and they ensure the standards are maintained. The home itself is clean and tidy and some rooms look out onto the lovely garden (mum's view is lovely). Overall I highly recommend Northfield House to anyone looking for the best care within a compassionate and safe environment. They are wonderful.

My family and I found the home to be immaculately clean and very welcoming. The staff were very friendly and addressed all our needs. My mum arrived in very poor health with a fall, unable to walk and bed-bound. The staff and OT gave wonderful care and my mother is now able to walk with a frame. We would like to thank the staff for their professionalism and efficient care. Thank you.

We are always made welcome when visiting mother and always offered a drink and somewhere to sit in private. The staff and management keep us updated with mothers care or her requests. As a family we are all happy that mother is in a safe place and cared for with respect and compassion.

The staff are lovely. My mum is very well looked after. It is a smallish home and we are always made to feel welcome. My mum is very happy here.

Welcome environment feels like home for residents. Staff are exceptional and the care given is fantastic. We are always welcomed when visiting. Our relative is now safe and receiving the correct care which has made an incredible difference to our family.

My mother has been here for over 2 years, she has dementia. The staff are fabulous, my mother loves living here. She is well looked after, the place is spotless. The food is homemade. The respect & duty of care the staff have for my mother is fantastic and also to our family when we visit.

My dad receives care respectful of his needs i.e wanting interaction with other residents. But taking into consideration his need for extra rest, and time to watch his own TV preferences. They will ensure any health concerns and needs are acted on quickly.

My mother gets excellent care at Northfields. All the staff are lovely and very caring. The staff are also always happy and welcoming. The rooms are always and the communal areas. As a family we are so pleased our mother is here and most importantly my mother loves it!

Our grandma is very happy at Northfield House and has built a lovely relationship with everyone at the care home.

I am kept up to date about my father's health, the home is exceptionally clean, the staff are a credit to the owners.

The home seems to be making improvements all the time. I had lunch with my husband and the food was delicious.

My mum has been living here for 4 years the care has been great and always looked after my mum with her challenges the home carers for all needs especially with dementia. The carers are the best (I can't fault them at all) also the management are perfect.

Mum has been at Northfield House for approximately 2 months and has settled in well, staff are very friendly, food always smells delicious. My family are a lot more happier now mum is settled and in a caring environment.

I can't put into words how happy I am with the care of Northfield House. I looked after my husband for as log as I could manage. The staff and management are wonderful. The care home is spotless and has helped me relax knowing my husband is in superb hands. I want to say this experience has been a positive one. A lovely and friendly home. They take a great care of my grandmother and they have my full trust. I find they are able to deal with her challenges in the correct manner. A very clean home with great management.

All of the staff are outstandingly caring, cheerful and polite. I visit several times a week, and have done for over 2 years, and I'm always impressed with the cleanliness of the whole of the premises and the incredible dedication of every member of staff to ensure that all residents are very well cared for. It's always a pleasure to visit my mum knowing how fantastic the care is.
