Since arrival, my mother has received exemplary care. The care staff greet you by name on every visit and let you know without asking how she is. We have been invited to lunch and made to feel part of the family. The rooms are clean and kept tidy and you feel that you and your family resident really
matter.

My father has been living at Park Vista for the past six weeks after a prolonged stay on acute wards in hospital. He underwent 3 major operations and, at the age of 93, was suffering from pain, poor mobility, weight loss, pressure sores and had an indwelling catheter.
The care, professional skills
and total dedication of the amazing staff at Park Vista has, literally, transformed his life. Within this short period of time, he has returned to his old self and is both happy and content again. He no longer has a catheter, his pressure sores have completely healed, he has gained weight and is now eating and drinking normally again. He mobilises freely around his new spacious, light and homely environment in his wheelchair (he was previously confined to a chair or bed 24/7) and enjoys the company of residents and staff, participating in the many activities available in the home. Both myself and my family have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this fantastic care home to others.

During my mother's stay, she fell (this was one of the issues at home, so a fall is sadly not unusual). The staff were amazing. I was called within the hour to let me know. They explained that they had found her on the floor having fallen getting up from the toilet (happens at home too when she thinks
she can manage on her own). The nurse stayed with her until the ambulance arrived to check her and determined it was best for her to stay at the home rather than go to A&E. I was kept updated through the whole event and as it was so late at night I was not able to leave my child, but I felt very comforted knowing what was going on. The person with her was caring and kept her warm with blankets etc. Due to some of her issues, they felt it was best to get the medics to check - for which I was grateful. I went to see her the next morning first thing and she was up, eating breakfast and all happy and told me all about her eventful evening shopping (?). Staff are caring and professional!.

On my visit I found the staff very friendly and helpful. I sat in the lounge with my sister and found it comfortable and airy.

From the day dad moved in he was well looked after in a safe environment. Right up until he passed away he was treated with dignity. The staff were very respectful of all dad's family, especially in the last few days.

Mum came to Park Vista for respite about April 2017, and then didn't want to leave because the nursing care at Park Vista was very personal towards meeting mum's needs and she loves it so much. Being at Park Vista has made her very happy. Thanks to all ay Park Vista.

When I read their latest CQC report I thought I had the wrong one; I didn't recognise it as Park Vista. Then I realised CQC's primary concern seems to be paperwork; my primary concerns were for general cleanliness, quality of the food and especially the level of care and consideration shown to the residents.


I

visited my wife at least 5 afternoons a week for over 3 years, so was able to form an accurate and practical opinion of how the home operates; had I any concerns I would have moved her elsewhere long ago. All aspects of her care, up to and including end-of-life care, were excellent.


Maybe you could find smarter homes, but you would be hard-pressed to find one with greater emphasis on residents' care and wellbeing.

My mom was discharged from Peterborough Hospital on 29/1/18. Park Vista has been amazing in the care of my mom. Unfortunately, the hospital discharged my mom with the start of a chest infection and she deteriorated and Park Vista picked this up immediately and mom was re-admitted to the hospital. Luckily
due to Park Vista's care mom will be back with them again to enjoy their one to one care and delicious varied meals and entertainment, mom will be safe and cared for at Park Vista.

My Grandmother came into Park Vista and had just about given up, but the team at Park Vista have done wonders with her. She is now back to her old self, and we as a family are extremely grateful. A great home with a great team.

Extremely helpful staff. Good attention to my mother's needs. Very knowledgeable. Regarding all procedures ascertaining my mother's needs.
Good liaison with medical requests and drugs administration regarding mother health issues.
Most importantly my mother is happy with excellent food and care she
is in receipt of.
I am convinced that this care has prolonged her life in her mature years (93!!).

It was impossible to look after my mother's needs at home and I am so pleased we discovered Park Vista Care Home. The management, nursing care and admin staff work so well together enabling them to deliver first class care to my mother. The rooms are bright and welcoming - always clean and well-cared
for.


My mother's personal care could not be bettered - she is always showered with regular visits from the hairdresser/pedicure treatments.


My mother is always treated with dignity and patience. The home cooked food is excellent (I have eaten in the restaurant often). There is also a comprehensive programme of activities - also excellent links with outside agencies. The home is always welcoming, friendly and caring.

My mother had a very happy and had a great break over Christmas as she was in on respite. Lots to eat and drink. Excellent menu, the care is great. Fun and busy atmosphere will come again ASAP.

Very caring and sensitive environment. Very attentive "domestic" and nursing staff in a busy environment. Very visible, strong and able leadership and management presence both for residents and family visitors. All concerns and any issues promptly attended with excellent results.
