If anyone is looking for a nursing home that has a homely feel... Bay Court Nursing Home is it I promise!
Your kind words mean the world to our entire team. We are delighted to hear that your father has settled in so well and that you've noticed such a positive improvement in both...
Cant fault the care my late father had & now my mother.
Thank you very much for taking the time to leave such a kind review. We are delighted to hear that you found the management and staff at Bay Court both friendly and professional. It was a privilege to care for your late father quizzes are not the same without him! We loved caring for him and now...
I cannot express enough, the amount of care that was given to my father recently. The Bay Court team were extremely caring of his needs before he passed away. They would sit and comfort him when the family were not there. He loved to talk about his past, and the staff would often pop in and make a point of having a chat with him. They have been an emotional support for the family as well as my father. He was at ease, and myself and my siblings take great comfort from that.
Thank you so much for your kind words and for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful review about your father's care. It truly means a great deal to us.We feel privileged to have had the opportunity to support and care for your Father and hear his stories. Our team always strives to provide...
My 82-year-old Father came e to reside at BayCourt at the end of April 2025. Sadly he was with a terminal illness and only managed a few weeks before passing away. The staff were so patient and the care he received ,during those last few weeks, was amazing. The kindness and support from all the people who engaged with my Father , was impeccable . The last conversation I had with him , he told me he felt safe and cared for by the staff. My family and I are most grateful for BayCourts level of care and kindness , towards both my Father and all of the family . It was such a relief for my siblings and I to know he felt safe and knowing the support was there for those last days was so important to us. A big thank you to all the members of BayCourts team. I highly recommend BayCourts to anyone thinking of care for a loved one.
Thank you so much for your lovely review on the care of your lovely Father. We're so pleased to hear about your experience with Bay Court. It means the world to our team to know that the care and support we provide is truly valued. We always aim to create a home-from-home atmosphere filled with...
He really didn't want to go into a home and couldn't understand why he couldn't be at home.
With patience, respect and understanding, he came to realise that every member of staff was "fantastic". His words of which he had very few in the end.
Thank you for your review - we enjoyed getting to know all your lovely family in the time your husband was with us. With kind regards.
Care home is very friendly and very social and fun. Nothing is too much trouble.
Thank you for your review, Barbara, we are delighted to have your lovely Mum living with us. It's been a pleasure to get to know all the family. Looking forward to your next visit!
When he was conscious he would often have conversations with the staff and none of them tried to hurry him up - they showed great interest in everything he told them. The staff were of great emotional support to the family at some very intense moments and reacted very quickly to ease Dad’s increasing pain every time it was required. In addition, your catering staff were very accommodating, both for my Mum, who spends every mealtime with Dad, and also for me and my siblings.

The whole staff worked well together and information was shared quickly.
Any contact with the staff was a pleasant experience.
I can’t speak highly enough about Bay Court Residential & Nursing Home.
Thank you for this review, very pleased to hear your comments and will certainly be passing them on to the team here. It was a pleasure looking after your aunt.
My 90-year-old aunt is a recent resident of Bay Court Residential & Nursing Home. I visited her quite a few times and she always has wonderful words to say about the carers and management of the residential home. No inch is spared in ensuring that my aunt is comfortable and happy. My aunt went into Bay Court directly from hospital and when she was in very poor health. I had met her when she was in hospital a month before she was admitted into Bay Court. My aunt was very weak and frail and unsure about herself. She was not the strong woman I remembered. The next I met her was in Bay Court. The difference in her health and overall mental state was so very noticeable. Aunty was eating better, sounded so much more positive in her outlook, looked safe and secure and very happy where she was. This was despite her reservations of giving up her own home and moving into a residential home. This says a lot about the care and love that she receives at Bay Court. Thank you management and carers of Bay Court Residential Home.
Thank you for the lovely comments, we are very pleased your aunt is settled and content after arriving at Bay Court. I know the nursing team have been working closely with your aunt and are very pleased with how much better she is feeling now. I will make sure the feedback is passed on to the whole team!
My partner and I only saw my friend a few times and yet whilst my partner and I were there we were very impressed. We only met a few of the staff and the staff wore their uniforms including badges with their names on.
We also liked and appreciated my friend could bring items from his former home to Bay Court as well as have photos of his family and my partner and I to make his room homely. The last time I spoke to my friend was on his birthday and a few days before he passed away. In turn, the staff team took a photo of my friend and in turn they emailed it to me, as little did anyone know my friend was going to pass away a few days later.
Bay Court seems to be a good place and not only a place people call home but also a place of work where people or visitors can share experiences, knowledge, expertise, opinion and be heard, welcomed, and valued.
Thank you for the lovely review, we loved having your friend living at Bay Court. He was an absolute delight. It's been a pleasure getting to know you and your partner as well and I hope we stay in touch!
Dad has been here for just a few weeks. He settled in quickly and seems to be very happy. When we chatted about the home his only complaint was there was too much food! The food is so good Dad needs bigger trousers! Dad finds communication hard as he is profoundly deaf but people take time to write him notes and include him in everything that's going on. Staff will give him a game of chess when time allows which is good brain stimulation. I am able to relax knowing Dad is safe and happy.
Bay Court Residential & Nursing Home has been an excellent choice for my father-in-law. The staff especially the manager have been so understanding of not only my father in laws needs but the rest of the family, especially my mother-in-law. From a tricky start, he seems very settled now which we are extremely grateful.
So lovely to visit and see how happy my aunty is, with her hair done and nails painted, she has always taken great pride in herself - always worn make-up etc. She also enjoys the activities and company. Keep up the good work you are doing. Thank you. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
After visiting my auntie in a previous home, this is amazing. The staff are very friendly and helpful. My auntie looks lovely - hair and cleanliness are exceptional - nails painted. She loves being here and feels at home. Well done everyone for doing an amazing job.
Always made very welcome when I visit my sister; I could not ask for any more. Care for my sister I find her very well cared for at all times; she seems to be content and settled as much as near to being at home. I find the staff very pleasant and efficient. I feel that the care my sister is getting is excellent.
I moved from another home that I was not happy with. I am at home at Bay Court now and I am happy here.
Dad is very well cared for at Bay Court Nursing Home. The home is well managed, and we find all the staff to be personable, caring and friendly. Dad appreciates the activities staff taking him to the town and seafront, and he really enjoys the freshly cooked meals and good menu selection. We are very happy with the care given at Bay Court.
My mother spent her last 7 months in Bay Court Residential & Nursing Home and received excellent care. On arrival, she was not expected to last long but through careful management, constant support and demonstrable involvement she enjoyed her last days in a friendly and comfortable setting. The staff were always attentive, cheerful and interested. My mother had a second, or perhaps third or fourth, wind while there and this made the last days dignified and peaceful. We visited very regularly, during difficult lockdown rules, and were always impressed with the diligence and professionalism of the team. Thank you for making it more bearable than it could have been.
My mum was transferred from the hospital to Bay Court for respite care, and our family was so happy with the care that she has been able to remain there. Her bedroom is bright and well-decorated, and the home is meticulously clean and well kept. The manager runs a very well organised and staffed home with a calm and happy atmosphere. We are happy that Covid's safety precautions are still very much adhered to. Staff are all caring and patient with my mum.
Very comforting to know that my father-in-law is in a safe and happy environment, which I would recommend to family and friends. I would like to comment that the telephone is always picked up by a member of staff, rather than recorded rang bock facility.
