Mom became a resident 27/2/26 and the care and compassion shown from Shiny and her team has been outstanding. Mom has vascular dementia and can be aggressive and times so I'm thankful that LC has staff on hand to help and care for her. Special shout out to Alex, Pricilla and Miranda but there are many others that I don't know their names, sorry team. Thank you Shiny for all you do. Wonderful home. Wonderful you!

During Mum's approx. 20 months stay at Lavender Court she was always treated with kindness and respect. The standards of care was excellent. Also the staff always made my dad welcome, caring for him and feeding him on his visits. He often commented it felt like a second home. The staff became good friends.

When Mum passed away, on 2nd April2026, the staff were very supportive of the family.

Overall Experience

My Dad was placed in Lavender Court initially by Social services, but we realised not long after he had been there that he was in a very special, caring environment. When we were offered the chance to move him to another one, we did explore those options, but we concluded that Lavender Court was the place he had been happiest, healthiest and safest since he had first become very ill. There was no doubt in our minds that he was in the best place, because of what makes Lavender Court so special - the staff. They made my Dad feel like he could learn to live his new life with his limitations. They helped him live as happily as possible in his new circumstances, supported his growing list of needs, maintained his dignity and - most importantly - welcomed him as part of their community. When my Dad was at Lavender Court, we could sleep at night, safe in the knowledge that he was being looked after, which is what he needed more than anything.

My mother has been a resident for 2 years at Lavender Court. Each time I visited her, which was very regular, she was always pleased to see me and pleased with the level of care she received. The staff are impeccable and very genial. They were and are very welcoming, understanding and keep the place fresh and clean. We loved the fact there was no scent of urine. We are so pleased to be in connection to this care home. This is a very difficult job so they should be greatly honoured and respected.

It is always a difficult decision finding the right care home for a beloved member if your family. We believe that this is the best one in w-ton. Everything is done to a very high standard. The home is always clean and tidy. Mum is always dressed well and clean. She enjoys her meals. There are plenty of daily activities to keep the residents engaged and happy. Staff are always polite and friendly. We are always updated on mum's health. A loving and caring home where everyone is part of the family. Highly recommend.

Its been some 4 months since my last review, and I can honestly say that I am still extremely happy with my husbands at Lavender Court. From management to domestic staff they are very friendly and approachable. A big thanks to the home and especially to the kitchen staff, two specific members of staff for the help with my husbands birthday party.

Lavender Court is a wonderful place.
Staff are warm, friendly and caring. The thing that you notice straight away at Lavender Court is the number of staff that are with the residents. Residents are well cared for and families supported. Staff are friendly and always smiling.
My mum flourished there, staff took the time to get to know her and what she liked. She was happy and I've lots of lovely memories. Her medical needs were managed very well. She loved her icecream and biscuits, which were always available.

My mum passed away at the end of July and I cannot thank the staff enough for the support given to her and the family.

My farther in law was sent here by hospital has he has dementia manager and certain staff were fine then 2 weeks in manager kept calling s/w saying they couldt cope with him when s/w says it could be delirium so do urine sample and bloods to rule out infection.
-poor management
-lack of communication skills
-certain staff dunno how to smile/look hard done by
-putting pad on residents that don't need
-rooms not very inviting
-want everything there way or no way
-home is shabby needs updating
-Want residents who am basically in a vegetative state so they don't have to do much
-don't listen to family's wishes and wants for there relative
-restraining a dementia patient with force
-physical/psychological damage
-with holding a patients medication
-tells lies
-only intrested in money not patients wellbeing
-put patient in other patients clothing
- instead of talking to patients face shove um

And a whole lot more I have raised this and will go higher wouldt put my animal in there

Sorry that you feel unsatisfied with the care provided by our staff to your father-in-law. I had a detailed chat with the home manager about this situation. I was informed that our staff tried their best to manage your father-in-law but when they couldn't, they called the ambulance. It was the...

The staff always greet you with a smile & were quick to learn our names & who our mom was. The care showed to my mom is outstanding, with any requests met in a timely manner. We are kept very well informed of any medical issues which we really appreciate. The staff whether they are nurses, care assistants, kitchen staff or the maintenance man treat visitors and residents with the utmost respect.

Lovely home, staff are very kind, caring, compassionate and considerate. My husband has settled at Lavender Court nicely. It isn't easy when a loved one cannot be at home with their family but knowing they receive such good care is very rewarding to us. The food is excellent and his room is lovely, warm, clean and tidy. I visit most days and the staff are always smiley, friendly and welcoming. Thank you to everyone.
