- Worsened language and communication issues, forgetting what they are saying mid-sentence. Not being able to understand what someone else is saying
- More frequent confusion, e.g. about the time of day or where they are, including their own home
- Apathy, depression and anxiety
- Believing things that aren't true (paranoia)
- Frequent hallucinations
- Lack of emotional control, quick to anger, fearfulness, sadness
- Loss of inhibition

Advanced Dementia

- Severe memory problems. Not recognising family members and friends. Not being able to recall their own name

Really happy with my dad's care. Staff always very welcoming and friendly when visiting and always is a quiet/relaxing atmosphere. Dad's health and well-being is managed well. One member of staff in particular is such a lovely carer and my grannie's eyes light up when he speaks to her. Another member of staff is so attentive to my grannie and our family, she really makes our visits special. Another member of staff is also amazing making sure everything is in place for my grannie.
The events and activities that take place are regular and engaging, when I come to see my grannie I regularly see her enjoying the activities that are on.
