Thank you for your kind words. We really appreciate you taking the time to leave us your praise.
Excellent service and staff and food. They all try very hard to please even the difficult clients. Happy carers and very friendly.
Thank you so much for leaving us your kind feedback, we really appreciate it.
Just want to say thank you to Burley Hall Care Home for looking after my mum so well in the last few weeks of her life. My mum was in the home for only about 3 weeks, and the home and all the staff were lovely and very caring towards my mum and my family. Lovely place, lovely staff. Thank You.
We are very sorry about your loss. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you or your family.
My aunt has been admitted as the end of life care with only a couple more days at best. That was two months ago and she picked up due to the great care she receives. The staff is friendly and committed and delivering a very good standard of care. Especially during these difficult times. I am happy and relieved that my loved aunt receives a great standard of care and is well looked after. I can only recommend this home.
Thank you for such kind words. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you or your family.
The staff were professional and empathetic which gave invaluable, precious moments for both elderly sisters.
Thank you.
We really appreciate you taking the time to leave us such lovely comments.
During very difficult times with COVID 19, Burley Hall Care Home has looked after my cousin in an outstanding way. He came to them in May and sadly passed away in Burley Hall recently. During this time he loved the care and compassion the staff and management gave him and the family. I would recommend this facility with absolutely no hesitation. Thank you for making my cousin safe and happy.
Our resident’s health and well being is an absolute priority. Thank you for taking the time to leave us such lovely comments.
It is very important to me that my partner is cared for kindly. All of the folks at Burley Hall are very kind - this must be taking up a huge amount of patience and nervous energy - so well done everyone! Particularly as my partner can now be very demanding. Well done everyone.
Thank you for trusting us with your partner's care. We appreciate the kind words.
The care home manager has been fantastic. She recognised my concerns for my father and got him into Burley Hall promptly around February 2020.
It has been very difficult for my father who has been since diagnosed with vascular dementia and prior to coronavirus was being investigated for Alzheimer's' too. Still waiting for Alzheimer's' confirmation from GP
The staff are brilliant with the residents and families respectively.
I know that my beloved father is in the safest and the best place possible to care for his needs.
The Staff and the teams on the Greenholme Ward are excellent and keep me appraised by email and phone.
Burley Hall is set in beautiful surroundings with nature.
In summary: Exemplary, professional and friendly service.
Highly recommend, without reservation!
Thank you for trusting us with your fathers care. We really appreciate you taking the time to leave us such lovely comments.
I do not live in the area so would not be asked to recommend. Calls and emails were not answered on some occasions. Attention to detail - my Dad had very dry skin in his ears and severe dandruff, which was not always addressed. I used Dad's cream to rub his head and ears - only took minutes and worked.
Our resident’s health and well being is an absolute priority. We will discuss your feedback with the home’s manager to help us continually improve our service. Thank you for your feedback.
Our mum's dementia advanced and she had to move out of her previous home. For all of us, the home met her needs fantastically well at a very difficult and stressful time for us. The manager was extremely reassuring about taking her and meeting her needs. All of the staff, nurses, carers, domestic, activities were always approachable. they cared for our mum with love and deep caring. Mum's room was always very clean and personal photos were displayed with care. Laundry was returned efficiently and quickly. Food and refreshments were always of a very good standard and staff tuned into Mum's personal taste. The coffee machine, cakes and biscuits in the reception area were greatly appreciated. Any contact from the home was professional and appropriate. We would highly recommend the home.
Thank you for the lovely comments. We are always delighted to get feedback from the families and friends of our residents.
Our fears could not have been more unfounded.
The management and staff, without exception, show a tireless dedication and perseverance to the care they provide, enabling residents to live with dignity and respect.
The house is immaculately maintained, both inside and out, and set in one of the most beautiful and picturesque areas in Yorkshire.
The care Mum receives at Burley Hall brings much needed peace of mind to one of the most difficult and challenging situations a family can find itself in.
We cannot recommend it highly enough.
It's always amazing to hear that family and friends can have peace of mind knowing their loved one is well looked after. Thank you for the lovely feedback.
My mother has been a resident at Burley Hall Care Home since August 2018. She is very comfortable and well looked after. The staff, and in particular the home manager are very caring.

They have even put a drinks machine for relatives to get a coffee, should they wish.
The standard of care is excellent and I would recommend this service to others suffering from similar illnesses.
Many thanks to all the staff who have done a fantastic job in the last few months with all the improvements.

My mother has been living in the dementia unit in Burley Hall for over two years and during that time the staff have been consistently kind to her. It was a difficult move for my mother to make, but she has settled in and, although she loves going out of Burley Hall, she is always content to return there thanks to the warm and friendly welcome that she receives each time. The staff have also been consistently welcoming to family members, and manage to find the time to talk to us and to answer any queries we might have despite being very busy. It is fair to say that over the last couple of years there have been some issues of concern at Burley Hall -- mostly to do with management and the knock-on effects on staff numbers and morale (which is why I'm not yet 100% confident recommending Burley Hall to others). But the current interim manager is very good and I hope that things will continue in this vein.

Care has been excellent for my mum. The staff are very pleasant, competent and caring. Nothing seems to be too much trouble. Mum absolutely loves it here and tells all the family we couldn't have found a better place for her. Mum's room is very pleasant with a lovely outlook onto the garden - she loves to watch the birds and the squirrels. My only negative comment is that the garden could do with some attention, otherwise, I think Burley Hall Care Home is great.
Thank you for your review. Your comments are extremely important to us and our residents’ health and wellbeing is our absolute priority. We will discuss your feedback with the home’s manager to help them continually improve their service. The Bupa Customer Care Team.
There are a lot of people who make up the care factor at Burley Hall, the vac and dust brigade come first. Excellent housekeeper.
The laundry ladies flit about the rooms collecting and returning clean clothes to the correct owners.
The providers of good food are vital for patients wellbeing, I can vouch for the variety of sponge puds and custard. The nurses and carers with their ready smile and not forgetting the admin people who ensure that front office ticks over. The masterminds, the active management 24/7 24hours.
Think about all this when the bottom line Bupa fee comes.
Thank you for your review. We are pleased to hear about your positive experience and appreciate your comments about our home. We will certainly pass on your comments with the home’s manager. The Bupa Customer Care Team.
The regional support manager has been exceptional in bringing Burley Hall back to where it needs to be. Valuing staff more greatly and avoiding situations where jobs just get done rather than getting done with care and quality. A sense of team amongst the staff has emerged and the atmosphere is more energetic and focused. My mother is very happy and feels well cared for. She feels like an individual and that her wishes and preferences are respected.
Thank you for your review. We are pleased to hear about your positive experience and appreciate your comments about our home and will share your comments with the home’s manager.
Staff at all levels were friendly and responsive to her needs. The building was to a high standard with great outlooks.
Really we could not fault it.
So sorry to hear of your loss, please accept our condolences. Thank you for your review and kind words about our staff.
Very caring and friendly, an excellent home, with very helpful staff. Very satisfactory in every aspect and a credit to BUPA, very well run and organised.
Thank you for your review. We are pleased to hear about your positive experience and appreciate your comments about our home and will share your comments with the home’s manager.
My mother lived at Burley Hall for nine years, first in the Dementia unit before being moved to nursing care. Latterly she was bed-ridden and unable to communicate. She was treated with dignity, care and kindness. She obviously enjoyed her meals and was always clean and tidy whenever we visited. The staff seemed to relate to her and be able to judge her situation well.
During the last fortnight of our mother's life, my sister and I found the nursing and care staff to be sympathetic and understanding, taking phone calls from us and keeping my sister updated if they felt the situation was changing.
Admin/management went through a slightly rocky period but this has been resolved very satisfactorily and my final impression of Burley Hall is entirely positive.
So sorry to hear of your loss. Please accept our condolences. Thank you for your review, it is good to hear that you were kept informed of everything that was happening.
