She was never alone during those last precious hours, and the love and dignity shown to her, and to me, will stay with me forever. From staff sitting with her and keeping her company, to the gentle care taken when moving her, every act was carried out with such warmth and respect.
A special thank you to Jodie, whose kindness, understanding and compassion were exceptional, and to the manager, whose care and support for my aunt over the years has been so greatly appreciated. The whole team played a part, and while I cannot name everyone individually, every one of you made a difference.
I feel privileged to have become part of the Greenacres family and to have had the opportunity to know my aunt better over recent years. I will always be grateful that we found Greenacres.
Thank you all, from the bottom of my heart.
Kind regards
Angie
I moved into Greenacres on 6.2.26 for a months respite care because of a broken shoulder. The home has a very friendly atmosphere and the staff were welcoming, kind and professional and I cannot praise them highly enough, and settled into the routine quickly. I would highly recommend the home to others in their time of need and if I needed care in the future would be more than happy to move in. The garden is stunning and I only wish I had been there in the summer to enjoy and aid recovery. Thanks to everyone for their help and support.
Thank you so much for taking the time to pass on your kind words and sentiments, it is greatly appreciated and I am glad you enjoyed your stay with us
Kind regards
Angie
As her son it is very reassuring to know that Mum is safe and well and that her health and well-being needs are being taken care of by professionals.
I would just like to thank the amazing management team and all the dedicated care staff and support team for looking after my wonderful Mum.
Kind regards
Angie
The staff at Greenacres independant living are amazing. They treat the residents with dignaty and care. I don't think my mum would want to be anywhere else. The meals are varied and healthy. The staff go above and beyond to make the residents feel safe and cared for.
Kind regards
Angie
Moving my Mum into Greenacres when her health declined is without doubt the best decision I could have made for her.

My brother became a resident in May 2023 after a lengthy struggle to remove him from a less than ideal care home for which I was supported and helped all the way by the manager of Greenacres.
Since being at Greenacres his complex health needs have been met with great care, attention and support from an incredible team lead by management, carers and including all the other staff who all work so hard to keep this home up to such a high standard.
The fact that it was purpose built is naturally an added bonus with the whole building being light, clean, comfortable and spacious with the beautiful well maintained garden being the jewel in the crown.
The food is of a high standard and cooked on sight by a dedicated team in an open plan kitchen and recently awarded a 5 food hygiene rating by the Environmental Health Inspector.
There is also a great entertainment program led by an enthusiastic team with much laughter.
What a lovely review, thank you for your positive feedback. Thank you for including every department as everything we do is because we have such a dedicated and strong team. Thank you, how lovely!!Kind regards
The decor is very tasteful both internally and externally and spotlessly clean. There is quite an attention made to enrich the day to day activities for residents that my Sister really enjoyed. The food is great; there are fun games for those who wish to partake; light gardening under supervision for those with green fingers wanting to assist with planting on the Terrace.
If residents want quiet areas these are provided inside, and outside in the beautiful gardens. There is a TV Room.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a lovely review, we are so glad that your lovely sister had a lovely time, she is very missed by us all, but we look forward to seeing you all at our functions Kind regards
My dad has settled in very well. My brother and I feel much better now our dad is getting looked after, nothing seems to be any trouble with all the staff and the staff are very friendly so please pass this on to your staff thank you so much.
Thank you so much for your lovely feedback, I am so glad your dad is so settled and the transition has been smooth for him. He is a lovely man and loves our live music (he still has the 'moves'). Kind regards.
Very caring nothing is too much trouble for the staff.
Hi Marilyn, thank you for taking the time to complete a review and I am so happy that you are pleased with everything we strive to do here. I will feed this back to the team. Kind regards.
Very pleasant as usual and very relaxed.
Hi George. Thank you so much for taking the time to rate our home, this is greatly appreciated and as always I will feed this back to the team. Kind regards.
My mum has been staying at Greenacres for nearly a month. I am delighted with the kindness and care shown by the team members and their clear and prompt communication. It wasn't easy for us to move Mum as her family is scattered, I live abroad but the care team made it easy for us. Mum was given a great choice of rooms and seems to have settled in well. There is a rich schedule of activities for the Christmas period that I am sure Mum will enjoy. I've also noticed that the carers have already figured out just the right things to say to Mum when she gets anxious about her stay. It was a big decision for Mum to move into a care home, but the family is very relieved now that it has happened. Mum values her autonomy but was struggling to live independently and Greenacres seems to provide the right balance of independence and support that she needs. It's still early days, but Mum has decided to become a permanent resident and from our point of view, so far so good!
Dear David, thank you so much for your lovely feedback, I am so glad your mum is settling in, it is early days but so far so good. Kind regards.
I cannot rate the hoe and staff highly enough. It was a tough and emotional decision for all the family, however, it was the best move we could have made. Mum is cared for and has been welcomed with open arms as have all the family. Knowing she is safe, happy and cared for brings comfort to us all.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review about your experience with us. I will feed this back to the team. Kind regards.
For anyone having to make the extremely difficult decision of having to put their parent; in this instance, our dear Mum into a care home needn't look any further than Greenacres Care Centre! We speak from experience when we say that Greenacres are simply amazing. The management team, general carers/staff are incredible and work tirelessly on behalf of their residents to provide the best care possible. The care home is set within beautiful grounds which adds to the wellbeing of Mum's health. This is the perfect opportunity to say a big 'thank you' to everyone for looking after Mum so well. We have and will continue to recommend Greenacres Care Centre to all.
Dear Rory, thank you for taking the time to write a review, thank you for your lovely feedback. I will ensure this is fed back to my team. Kind regards.
Very pleased with the overall service provided.
Thank you for your lovely feedback, greatly appreciated.
I looked, researched and visited numerous care homes over a number of months for my dad who after losing my mum was in a very bad way self-neglect, lonely with significant memory loss he also had two falls I was very afraid of losing him altogether. It had to be somewhere I would live myself. Just as I was about to give up I found the manager and the team at Greenacres. The care home is bright cheerful clean but intimate with a home-from-home feel the atmosphere is upbeat the staff are compassionate and caring but professional and importantly respectful of all their residents. The rooms are a great size and none of them are far away from a member of staff if needed. Dad went in December 2023 and right from day 1 it was like he had always been there all the staff made the transition for Dad and myself so easy, and after 9 months of love care patience and yummy nutritional food he is thriving, Greenacres have a superb activities team. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Greenacres to anybody
Thank you so much for your lovely feedback, we are so pleased your dad settled in so well.
The team at Greenacres managed, what was a very unsettling and difficult transition, with wonderful care and professionalism. They supported my dad brilliantly and also made sure that the wider family was kept informed and helped to make sure that Dad was settled as easily as possible. Myself and other family members visit regularly and Greenacres is consistently good, the space is clean, Dad's room is tidy and the standard of care is great. The food is always good and the gardens are delightful. For dementia care, the manager and the team are doing a fantastic job. Thank you
Thank you for your kind words. I am so glad your dad is now settled and happy, he has come a long way, bless him. Thank you for all your support, your dad is very lucky to have such a strong support family network around him. I will pass your feedback on to the team.
I am always updated with a status by the team, and communication is excellent.
Thank you for taking the time to share your valuable feedback, I will, as always inform the team of your lovely words.
Greenacres is a first-rate care home.
Thank you for taking the time to write this during a sad time. Your words have been relayed back to my team, everyone was overwhelmed with your kind words. My team strives to provide comfort and support, to not only our residents, but also their loved ones. Thank you.
Greenacres is not just my dad's home but my mum and my family's too. The care and love they show my dad is above and beyond what we would have ever expected. But they also show my mum much love and compassion, for which I am very grateful for.
We highly recommend this wonderful home.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a lovely review. I will feed this back to our team. We thrive on providing a family-based feel to our home, and it is lovely to know this is what we are achieving. Kind regards
