I placed my mother in law at Charlton Grange last year. The whole process initially was extremely daunting and heartbreaking. They came to see my mother in law in her house and conducted the assessment. From that moment on, I knew that she would be in good hands. The whole team from the carers to the
management were faultless. The carers were able to adapt and ensure that my mother in law settled in very well. Her dementia was extremely well handled by the nurses and carers. Whenever I wished for something to be done, the management team was always on hand day or night to make it happen. My mother in law loved listening to her evening prayers at night:- this was put into action by the team, which meant my mother in law was able to sleep well. The manager was always reviewing medication and was constantly reviewed by the team and management, and I was constantly kept up to date with any changes. Her sensitive approach was extremely heartwarming.

My wife was admitted to Charlton Grange Nursing Home. Her allotted room was well furnished with en-suite. The manager was very open and informative regarding staff who would be attending to my wife. I was very impressed by the nursing staff who were always on hand should I have any queries. Her room
is cleaned regularly and care staff is always available. Contact with Charlton Grange by telephone is excellent and whenever possible phone contact is arranged so that I can speak to my wife.

At the start of the pandemic, mum was really poorly, we thought it was end of life care stage. Hugely difficult at any time but doubly so with so many measures in place to manage the risk of Covid-19. The staff and care home were amazing, did everything possible to ensure Mum got the drugs and food
she so badly needed. She turned a corner and for that, we will be forever grateful.
Mum seems settled, as much as is possible with mixed dementia, she is clean and cared for, she loves the staff, always hugging and kissing them which speaks for itself.
I would like to express my eternal gratitude for the love and care my mum receives and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the home.

My mother was a resident from September 2019 she was unhappy with the move from another care home but staff were friendly, patient and caring they pointed out it would take time to settle. Her room was peaceful always clean. She had several visits to hospital each time welcomed back. She grew to care
for the staff who looked after her with incredible care and deputised for us the critical end moments of her life during easter 2020 at the height of the Covid-19 epidemic. The staff were amazing and selfless thank you.

I am very happy with the care Mum is getting at Charlton Grange. The carers are very attentive and kind to her. I have been impressed with the procedures they put in place for the Coronavirus Pandemic, keeping Mum and the other residents safe. Charlton Grange has a friendly atmosphere and we felt very

The staff are all extremely friendly and caring towards the patients. They do everything possible to ensure they are as settled and happy as possible by taking into account personal requirements and individual needs.
They have also been really conscientious and accommodating over the difficult last
few months of Covid-19 restrictions.

Mum has been in Charlton Grange for about a year now and we’re very happy with the fantastic team of friendly carers and medical staff who look after her. The management team are always happy to listen and have promptly dealt with any concerns we’ve had so overall very satisfied.

The home was understaffed and full of agency staff but the new management have made a lot of changes and confirmed there are only full-time staff.
The rooms are being decorated and there are a lot of changes being made.
It is a lovely nursing home with very caring staff.
I would thoroughly recommend
it. They go the extra mile with all the residents.
We have no complaints at all.

The level of care my mum receives from the care/support staff is exceptional and her safety is always at the forefront. I also feel that she is treated with dignity and respect at all times and I cannot recommend them highly enough. She is encouraged to come out of her room and participate in any activities
that are going on. She also has her lunch in the dining area now as opposed to eating in her room.

We were greeted by very friendly staff who were helpful and showed us around. The home is clean, nicely decorated and organised. The bedrooms are light and airy with plenty of room. The lounges are big and used for activities. The home has a lovely garden.
They offer lots for the service users.
We
enjoyed the visit and look forward to coming again.
