Mother lived here for approximately seven years. During that period her levels of care varied. Lastly end-of-life care needs changes took place at the home,. Improved systems meant more accountability of care delivered by competent staff. Very reassuring for family members who were made welcome without
fail by cheerful staff. Continuity of care. Mium's end-of-life care involved a member of staff who welcomed her to the home on her arrival here. Professional at all times but caring and warm. Attention to detail. Thank you.

I have always been pleased and happy with the care my mother receives at Mais House. I would particularly like to congratulate the kitchen and restaurant staff. In these difficult times they are still able to provide nourishing and varied meals, with plenty of other options - and also a pleasant place
in which to eat them.

The home is imaculate, staff are very approachable and caring towards residents. When I have had any concerns the issues have been dealth with satisfactorily. Visitors to my father are always very impressed & say 'I would like to live here'. I am very pleased with the freedom & autonomy residents are
allowed. It was perfect that Halsey House provided food & drink and a room for Dads birthday party & he was able to invite his friends & relatives.

Mum went to Halsey for 3 weeks of respite.

All of our dealings with the staff leading up to mum going in and when she was there, were really good.

She has since told me she wouldn't hesitate to go back for more respite another time, or if the situation should arise that she needs full time care,

she has said Halsey House is where she would like to go.

My wonderful husband was cared for by the Team at Halsey House. He passed away peacefully with me present. The staff were sensitive and caring. I was treated with the utmost respect. They made sure my most treasured man was comfortable until the end. I can not thank them enough for how they looked after
me, making sure I ate, giving me access to a shower, and comforting me through the day and evening. A few tears were shed by the professional staff, which goes to show how much they care.

Lister House was a very happy home for my Mum for the last 16 months of her life. I expect, like lots of people, she was reluctant to give up her own home and move into a care home. But from day one, the staff at Lister House made the transition easy. After living on her own, Mum felt comforted
knowing there was company whenever she needed it, whether that be carers or other residents. Mum enjoyed the food and I felt it was a significant factor in her wellbeing. The activities were varied and fun - Mum used to say that LH loved an excuse for a party or get-together! Mum lived on the Residential Unit and the staff were brilliant - their care, compassion and kindness was exceptional. Mum loved chatting with them and would often say that the staff were her second family. Mum died in April 2025. The support given to me during Mum's time at LH was very good but the care and support I received in the last few weeks was exceptional. Thank you to everyone for everything you did.

On arrival at Maurice House my father showed little or no interest with his surroundings or the wonderful social events that the home was offering. Roll on a few months, he loves living there, he has gained weight and looks amazing. He celebrated his 98th birthday recently and now joins in many of the
social events and has been on day trips. I cannot express enough my deep gratitude to all the staff and volunteers who go above and beyond what I would have expected.

My mum is on Nursing at Galanos. She receives excellent care from the whole staff team who are also very welcoming to us as her family. We were able to enjoy a lovely birthday celebration with mum though the standard of consideration is not reserved just for special occasions. I am particularly impressed
by the open, receptive way that staff respond to concerns and questions which fits with the values of the care home. I also really appreciate the attention paid by staff to the small but crucial acts of personal care

Overall the experience at Galanos house has been outstanding. They work hard to achieve a safe and familiar environment for the residents. Visitors are welcomed and know exactly where the resident is, or find out immediately where they are.
Visitors feel they are part of an extended family. The staff

If there are any issues they are minor and very quickly resolved. The staff are professional whilst at the same time friendly and approachable. The volunteers are absolutely wonderful, kind-hearted people. The accommodation is superb, each room reflects its residents character and each one is very
personal. There are regular outings for those willing and able and plenty of 'indoors' entertainment. There's always a sense of well-being.

My father has been living in the residential wing at Galanos for almost three years, and I'm extremely happy with the care he receives. He enjoys and actively participates in many of the activities on offer and even contributes to life at the home in his own way. To him, Galanos feels like one big family-from
the management team to the care staff and fellow residents-and he has received meaningful support from that family in many different ways. I am deeply grateful for the support from the staff in looking after him - thank you very much.

Thank you for making Dad's first impressions so positive! I was so impressed that, having dropped his TV off at Reception at around 10am, that it was already PAT tested and set up to work in his room by the time he arrived, 2 hours later.
Similarly, he mentioned he had been overwhelmed by how he
was received when he arrived.
