My brother in law was in your care for just short of 2years. In all of our visits to him we could see how well all of the staff treated and cared for him.We would also like to thank the staff for there kindness to us on every visit nothing was to mch trouble for them.Again many thanks for all the care you gave him.

My uncle was at this care home for nearly two years. He was looked after really well and always felt safe. He had a wonderfully spacious room, with an ensuite bathroom and comfortable furniture. The transition from leaving his own home to moving in to St Clair was very smooth.

Thank you St Clair staff for everything you have done for him. The family definitely chose the right place.

My husband is at last happy - happy to be understood with his dementias in a very understanding home - he is really well cared for he's lovely and clean - for the first time in ages he's eating well - he's so much better understood than previous two care homes - the management are very knowledgeable of the illness and they respond to the individual needs. All the staff are professional and very welcoming and kind The Cleanest care home yet by far ! Home and Laundry - Food is also wonderful and he eats too well ! The garden is a great place to meet and very clean and tidy too! All care homes need to take a leaf out of Rowan House and the team - Thank You

When we were lost in the woods, Longview helped us find our way, and always with a smile. Thank you for everything. I am beyond grateful. My mum is in the very best hands: cared for, accepted, and understood for who she is. I could not have done this without you..

Mum was increasingly unable to care for herself at home, not getting up until lunchtime, not eating or drinking, not doing her usual chores/ hobbies/ pastimes. We organised care at home for her but she would send them away. It was a difficult decision to seek residential care but we haven't looked back - she is alert, happy and engaged when we visit and takes part in lots of activities. She was ill for a couple of weeks shortly after arriving and we cannot fault the care she received. Staff are welcoming, helpful and so caring, the home is bright and cheerful, and mum's room is clean and lovely - she even has her own recliner chair there. It really is a home from home.

From the outset, the manager and the entire team were lovely and it helped with the anxiety of leaving her in someone elses care. Her room is bright and nicely arranged and most importantly, my aunt appears calm, comfortable, and content, which speaks volumes.

My sincere thanks go to the wonderful team at Longview, you have all been so very kind in the care of our dear Mum right up to and including during her passing. It has been a very emotional and difficult time for us all and your support and kindness has been above and beyond and for that we are so grateful and will never forget it. Mum was treated with respect and dignity all the way through her stay, and her room was both comfortable and clean at all times. you are stars and we can't thank you enough.

Most importantly, my uncle is happy, settled, and truly cared for. Longview has created a welcoming, compassionate environment, and I'm incredibly grateful to every member of the team. Nothing is too much and the staff have become like family to my uncle. I wholeheartedly recommend this home to anyone that may need it in the future.

Mum settled much quicker than we anticipated, and we feel that having the same staff looking after her has helped with this. Staff always appear happy, and some have built a relationship with Mum. She is well cared for and enjoys the food. No matter how good the care is, all care homes are expensive!

Longview care home provided excellent care for my mother. I am a nurse with 41 years of NHS experience and not easily impressed, but the compassionate care my mother received was second to none. All the staff treated my mother with dignity and respect in her final 3 weeks of life. We stayed with mum for her last 72 hours, and the staff's care for us was exemplary, with endless cups of tea and support. I would have no concern whatsoever about using Longview again if the need arises.

My wife came to Longview at the end of Dec 25 as a resident with advanced Alzheimer's and in poor health. From the very start she, and I, were made so welcome, and her subsequent care was exemplary. The staff are amazing -- so gentle, caring, competent, courteous and full of smiles. The end-of-life care they gave her ensured that she was never distressed, and the same loving care was extended to me and to my family whilst we effectively 'lived' at Longview during my wife's final days. I cannot speak highly enough of the way the staff, from the manager through to the most junior staff member, treated her and us. Longview Care Home is indeed a home, and it is a lovely, immaculate place. How lucky we are to have such an excellent facility in Cornwall. We cannot thank you enough as you helped us through our difficult journey; we could not have done it without you. Bless you all.

My mum spent 23 months at Longview and i have nothing put praise for the amazing staff there.They look after residents almost as if they are family and go about their work in a bright and cheery manner.Unfortunately i shall never see the staff again but i wish them all the very best for the future wherever life may take them.If you are looking for a care home for a relative that will be safe and comfortable i can recommend Longview 100%.

My father has lived at St Clair for the last 18 months. He has been very happy there. The staff are always friendly and kind, treating residents with respect and warmth. In the last few months of my father's life, the staff really stepped up to make sure Dad was comfortable and his needs met, whether it was helping him be comfortable in his chair or bed, or providing something different that he felt like eating or drinking. I always felt confident leaving him in the hands of senior carers - they reached out for medical support when needed, dealt with difficult situations well and kept me updated. The facilities are good, lovely garden area and sunroom. The only downside was the location of the room upstairs around a few bends which he found tricky to navigate. However he could always ask for help if he wanted to go anywhere. The room itself was lovely, big window and ensuite. Overall a fabulous care home. The warmth, friendliness and consistency of all staff made it feel a home.
