Mum was initially under Russell Green's care for respite after breaking her wrist but is now a permanent resident. The care provided by Julie and her fantastic team is exceptional, it's like a home from home , so welcoming and has such a relaxed atmosphere.
I honestly can't fault mum's care , the
staff are brilliant with her as sometimes she can be rather challenging!
If you are looking for the very best of care for your loved one this is the home for you, The food, cleanliness and beautiful gardens are exemplary.
In addition there are so many group activities and outings to keep the residents active and engaged.
It's an absolute joy to visit so a big pat on the back to all the team and a huge thanks for all you do for Mum as it's very much appreciated.

I have been involved with Russell Green for nearly 5 years. During that time I have had my mother enjoy respite care and then full residency. I became a volunteer as I wanted to support the home that gave my mother so much love and care until we lost her. I was devastated but the home was supportive
especially Julie Garnett the Carehome Manager. The team there made me feel and mum part of a family. Not just a sterilised environment but a place to live and breathe and still be important. A challenge in a place like this but seemingly mostly achieved. Consequently my aunties' health failed and she too now resides at the home. She has improved and thrived in the environment. Going to bed at night knowing she is cared for and loved even, by some of the staff, is a great relief. I have constant contact with the home and continue to volunteer as I believe that every Carehome should be based around this one. Even in later life we deserve to be seen and heard. To enjoy life.

I really cannot praise Russell Green highly enough. From the moment my mum moved in we were all, family included, made to feel at home. The staff are all incredibly friendly and caring and I'm in no doubt that my mum is completely safe and cared for, which is such a huge relief. The food always looks
and smells delicious, there are lots of activities going on which we are often able to join in with and the house and garden are beautiful. The residents are treated with dignity and kindness which is lovely to see and there is always laughter to be heard. It actually feels now like we're visiting one big family, residents and staff included, we all feel like friends. I couldn't wish for anywhere better for my mum.

I have been visiting my sister regularly she is very well cared for, at times to begin with the settling period was up and down, but by now staff are very understanding and quietly caring for her. She is happy as we are too.

I have a dear friend currently in Russell Green care home and l cannot fault the establishment or the wonderful staff . This small friendly care home goes the extra mile to make sure my friend is happy and comfortable at all times. The carers are superb and the food delicious!. Visiting my friend and
the other residents is always an enjoyable event especially when l can join in with some of the great activities they constantly arrange for them. The property is full of character and the gardens superb . Contact with my friend is also no trouble either by phone or email so l can keep in touch from wherever l am. The residents independence is foremost in their care plan but the overall feeling of the place is one of a homely huge family living together in harmony!

Both management and care staff continue to provide a level of care for my mother that we are more than happy with as a family. The care homes communication is excellent and on the very rare occasions where I've needed to discuss an issue it is dealt with promptly and they keep me updated.
The attitude
of the staff is first class and they are always warm and welcoming on my regular visits.

My mum was in Redcote Care Home from 2020 until January 2025. During that time my mum received nothing but exceptional care. As my mums dementia progressed the care turned into the most incredible level of dignity and love as the team led by Ellie supported her towards the end of her life. I will be
forever grateful for the team making this most difficult and painful of times more bearable knowing that when we were not with my mum that she was being so wonderfully cared for.

We recently contacted Russell Green about respite care for a close friend. Julie the manager and the staff involved in the admission were very helpful and suggested we visit to see the home and the room they had available. Our friend had experienced respite in care homes before which hadn't worked out
well. We decided to take the room and brought our friend to stay. All the staff were very helpful and made our friend and us feel very welcome. Our friend was settled in and as she hadn't eaten was offered something to eat and drink. We were also offered drinks as we had been busy most of the day and not had chance to have a drink we accepted. It was obvious that the staff focus on the resident, her needs and comfort were addressed immediately. As our friend needs to gain her strength and generally improve her well-being. We feel confident this will be achieved at Russell Green. Person centred care is really good to see in this care home.

I cannot rate St Paul's Care Home highly enough, although Mum was only there for a short time and compared to her previous nursing home St Paul's is absolutely fantastic. The staff, management and facilities are superior to any other home I have visited, full praise and highly recommended.

My mother was admitted to St Paul's for respite care under difficult and sensitive circumstances. The experience from pre-admission to her return home was excellent. Most importantly she was shown great warmth and kindness by care staff from the moment she arrived. Both management and staff treated
my mother and our family with such kindness respect and sensitivity - we were extremely fortunate to find ourselves at St. Paul's. The staff always had time to talk and despite being clearly busy there was always a chuckle to be had or time for a story to be told. Additionally advice and liaison with other services was efficient professional and always appropriate. There is genuinely a family feel here, the place oozes warmth and calm. Our grateful thanks go to the manager, care staff, nursing staff, house keepers and the chef's team - you should be so proud of what you do!

My mother has spent the last year of her life a St Paul's in Waddington. The care received there has been exemplary. The staff are dedicated and always attentive and care seems very personal to the client.
Management and the nurses are brilliant. They all know who we dealt with no need to name them.
Thank
you for everything you did for my mum and we will miss seeing you all.

Russell Green provides warm and professional care in a quiet residential area of Woodhall Spa.
I have seen my brother treated with kindness and compassion by all the staff whilst respecting his dignity.
I feel he is in the very best of hands.
