These are difficult times for family members but together with the management team, I feel confident that the care required is being provided.

My Mum is cared for in bed, she is cared for by all the staff and all staff are Wonderful with her, All my Mums family are very pleased with the Care and love she recives from everyone. Our Mum has been at Paradise House for 10 happy years, We have had no complaints in all that time and she has been very happy living here.

My great uncle has been resident here for the last 18 months. The staff cared for him and advocated for him and us to get the right treatment, which has made a huge difference. My uncles needs are met, he is clean and tidy whenever we call unannounced. He is treated well and with dignity & respect. As are we whenever we visit. He gets taken out and still has some quality of life. We are always informed of updates on his health and any issues. Of course there are some small issues that reflect the nature of the illness he is suffering from. He is almost always in clothes we have never seen before but they fit and are clean which is most important. I would recommend this care home for the staff, level of care and compassion and communication with family.

Such a clean environment and all the residents are happy. Mum loves the food and is eating more now than she was before she came to Marsh House. Nothing is too much for them to help you.

The nursing home is absolutely brilliant the staff are very helpfull and love after you nothing is to much trouble it is lovely and clean the food is excellent there is a nice garden to sit in also you can walk around the park it is lovely my mum was in there for 4 years till she died on the 4/8/2026

Organization has improved and dad has been involved in some entertainment. Residents needs seem to be better catered for since new manager.

Last month my sister and I spoke to the assistant manager and a Senior Staff Member. We showed them photos of how dirty things were during our visit and of our fathers legs which were very dry. Today I visited and had to show the same Senior the dirty cup my father was given a drink in. Her answer was sorry I have been 'upstairs'. I then with her, watched the cook using her ungloved hands to place food onto plates. The care is disgusting, the home is filthy

I find the staff very helpful & friendly. They know my mum very well. Mum is happy here & likes living here. I have peace of mind knowing that she is cared for very well.

Amazing staff, Excellent

My mother moved into Paradise House 7 months ago and very quickly settled in and made to feel at home. She's happy, very well cared for and safe, she really enjoys the gentle banter & humour. I can't thank the manager and all the staff enough for the care and love they show my mum.

My family member was only with you a short time, but the staff went above and beyond. They are a credit to you. I couldnt fault them nothing was too much trouble, They looked after my mother amazingly and treated her with dignity in her final days. I would recommend the facility to anyone that asked. I wish all care facilities were like this. Thankyou again to all the staff.

Mum had a lovely room, bright & airy, & very clean. I would highly recommend Hope House for any care needs

The staff were loving caring and considerate at all times. The food was good, cleanliness and hygiene was constantly attended to and staff were all approachable at all times and listened if we had any concerns.

I have felt confident in the care my husband receives which is a great source of comfort to our family. The staff are always approachable patient and kind. They have taken the time to get to know my husband as an individual, learning the best ways to communicate with him and helping him feel settled, reassured & valued. The food is always good, cakes in particular! I look forward to the arrival of the Activities Co-ordinator.

They are always looking for ways to improve the care they offer and to date I would definitely recommend Dovehaven care home to anybody who's looking for residential care for their loved ones

I can't speak highly enough of the staff at Dovehaven House. The care they provide is exceptional. All of the staff are extremely helpful, kind and patient. Mum is very well looked after and kept happy and stimulated. It's such a weight off our minds knowing that she is safe and well cared for.

My husband has been in Paradise House now for 5 months. I am totally happy, with his care, she settled in after a short time, he is eating well. The whole staff are lovely, friendly, I and my children are always made welcome, I visit my husband everyday and we have a lovely time together listening to his radio in his room. I am kept aware of how my husband is progressing. We as a family have no complaints. All the staff are wonderful and I thank them.

I really can't express in words how truly thankful I am to all the staff at Dovehaven. My Dad has been cared for with dignity, compassion and kindness. All staff embraced his character and sense of humour, tailoring support to meet his needs. The person-centred approach to the care given was outstanding, with carers really going the extra mile and being genuinely lovely and caring in nature. He had his favourites, (you know who you all are) who he shared lots of fun and laughter with. We will forever be grateful for the care, tenderness and support given to both my Dad and I at a very difficult time. A massive thank you to you all.

My mum was moved to Hope House as end of life. I'm so pleased I chose here. I felt so comfortable and knew my mum would feel the same. From management to domestics, it was like a big family. All staff could not do enough for my mum right to the minute she passed, holding her hand till we arrived. The comfort we got afterwards was outstanding. They all need a medal. can't praise them enough. x
