I am the sister of a resident and am happy she is happy in your nursing home. The carers seem to be happy in their workplace and this comes through in their care. The physical building is great e.g. separate room for privacy/fresh air and a lovely back garden (secure) for residents and visitors. My
sister's room has an en suite toilet and sink and is quite large with a lovely view. Overall, well done Pennine View. Thank you.

The staff are very helpful and attentive even though he can be very obstinate at times. The only problem I can comment upon is we are still waiting for his eyes looking at with a view to treatment which would give him more quality of life.

My visiting experience has been good however I have only visited around 6 times. My Auntie has always been happy with the care. My Auntie seems to be ok. However some other residents seem to have to wait a long time for help! eg going to toilet etc. Good reception rooms not seen bedrooms. Could be better
TV programmes/videos.

My great-grandad is currently living at Hope House, and we couldn't be happier with the care he's receiving. Although he had the chance to return home once his baseline was reached, he chose to stay because he feels so well looked after there. Every time we visit, he looks well presented & clearly content.
The staff are always friendly, helpful & quick to respond to the buzzer. The home itself is clean, welcoming & always smells fresh. Small details make a big difference. It gives our family peace of mind knowing he is in a supportive & caring environment. We are truly grateful to the Hope House team.

Couldn't really ask for a better service, all the staff are considerate and courteous and have a genuine interest in person centered care for their residents. My 90 year old mother has started to come out of her shell and this is due to the patience and commitment of the staff. It is surprisingly well
managed and staff seem really happy even though they are always busy, they always have time for an update. Knowing that my mother is being looked after so well reflects on my life too and I feel as if the marsh house team are vicariously looking after me too. It's like having extended family. I would recommend MH no hesitation.

Although early days, we are happy with Marsh House. The setting is very pleasant with a lovely garden and nice rooms. My mother moved to Marsh house aged 98 having being independent but supported living at home. It has been and I guess still is a challenge for her to get used to living in a home. The
staff have been excellent, patient and understanding. Communication has been very good and care has been given to provision of an individual package of care.
As I said, this is early days but up to now we feel mum is in the best place, being local to my brother and with the infrastructure and staff at Marsh house

The care home manager is awful, very controlling over service user patients contact with family members. The home manager is very aggressive on the phone especially over contact or visits with family members, We have attempted to visit my mum and been refused access by phone or in person, they control
my mums money access to her own money & blame safeguarding, previously mentioning police advised no contact with family, this is clear lies as Lancashire police confirmed this is untrue, a person known to me apparently advised the care home not to allow the son any contact nor his family for no reason, it's simple lies, my mums 85 we have a large house with granny annexe built & this home is charging my mum £200 a day or £1400 per weekly/mum had been made confused when she should be with us her family, this home is only interested in profiting from old people, mums assets & home is now at risk. not been reviewed by the CQC since 2018.
