The staff at Airthrey care home are excellent, nothing is too much bother and since my mother came in she has loved it , the facilities ate excellent and kept immaculate, food has been great too , just a lovely environment for my mother, and we know she's in safe hands

Overall Experience

Both myself (step- daughter) and my mum ( partner) of new resident (6weeks) can not emphasise enough how good we feel about Airthrey Care Home at this particularly difficult time!
As new 'clients' experiencing putting a loved one into care for the first time-we can not praise ALL staff enough!
The

support and communication has been superb, keeping us as a family fully updated and involved in our loved ones care plan, progress etc.
The care home itself is friendly, inviting, homely and very well kept with every attempt made to cater for each individuals needs.
We have been made to feel so welcome- everyone has been extremely helpful and reassuring without judgement.
The patients appear to be so well looked after and are encouraged to participate in organised activities.
The meals look great too! So good in fact, our family member has actually put some weight on!!
All in all, even at this early stage, we as a family are so happy to have found this excellent care home! THANK YOU

Overall Experience

My dad moved in to Airthrey Care Home in April. We cannot thank staff enough for the excellent care he has had . The staff are amazing ,friendly and approachable. The environment is lovely and spacious The admin worker is so helpful and nurse and the rest of the nursing team and management are great.

The meals are great. We would recommend this care home .Ten out of ten.

My father is a resident and seems happy to be here. He enjoys joining in the activities. Staff are very good with him including all the staff, cares, cleaners and nurses would like more outdoor activities. Only issue I have is with the laundry.I find most of his clothes go missing 8 other residents

clothes in his room and drawers are messy.

Overall Experience

No problems with my mums care or wellbeing. She is well treated by all the staff who look after all her requirements. She is encouraged to try and join in if possible to the limits of her ability. Meals are well prepared and adapted to her needs. Her room is always kept clean. Her is laundry is always

kept upto date. All the house keeping staff are excellent and speak and care for my mum. Mums key worker has been excellent in keeping me informed of mums progress. All the seniors and care staff treat my mum very well and are a credit to Mealmore. Keep it up.

My Dad moved into Ivybank in December 2024 and I have found that he settled in very quickly which was a relief for the family as he always said he would not want to go into care. Overall Experience

My sister has been at Willow Lodge for 10 months now. Since her admission, I have seen such a positive change in her. I have found the staff - all okf them, helpful, friendly and communicative.
There are plenty of activities available. My sister tells me the food is great and the chefs are very nice.

One of the main things for me is that she is now in a much safer environment, receiving the emotional and physical support she needs.

Overall Experience

I saw my sister today and was really pleased to see her looking well. She has been living at Willow Lodge for 10 months and seems to ve more settled. The food and staff are her favourite things. The high quality of food and variety is wonderful.
I live far away from her, so knowing she is in a safe

environment is such a relief for me. I am sure she will continue to flourish in Willow Lodge.

Willow Lodge is modern, in a good area and well kept with good security.
My sister has been at Willow Lodge for just over two years. I am reassured knowing that she is being well looked after. My sister is warm and well fed with comfortable accommodation and private facilities.

Overall Experience

Mum went into Airthrey Care Home in Feb 2024 following a traumatic year in hospital, rehabilitation and assessment. She was very distressed throughout this time however could not go home due to her progressing medical issues. Our first choice was Airthrey and soon after arriving Mum reported feeling

'safe'. Staff and other residents soon felt like our family. We were always kept up to date with Mum's health and wellbeing and felt confident in the level of care and affection she was receiving. This was particularly important for our dad during this difficult time. When Mum became ill in December we were humbled by the care and concern shown to her and our family from all staff. Many visited Mum to say goodbye and comfort us before ending their shift. The practical and emotional support offered enabled us to stay with Mum for three days and nights until she died. Without exception, we are indebted to all members of staff and are forever thankful we chose Airthrey to care for our mum.

Overall Experience

My aunt was fortunate enough to move into Airthrey Care Home during the summer of 2024. The home itself is a modern, well-planned building, with spacious en suite rooms. The staff keep it immaculate and well heated for the time of year. They spend a lot of time and effort ensuring that each resident

is treated as an individual. They are caring and concerned and nothing is too much trouble. My aunt is quite a fussy eater and they will go to the trouble of making an individual meal for her that she enjoys. There is no shortage of cups of tea at any time of the day. They encourage her to be the best version of herself that she can be. She always looks smart and clean and her clothes are kept in immaculate condition. She's encouraged to liaise with other residents and now has a few friends that she enjoys spending time with. My aunt's move into this care home has been a hugely positive experience for her and has improved her quality of life a lot. I'd have no hesitation in recommending it.

My dad was in this home before he passed in November. We checked on the home before Dad went in and got great unannounced audits and great feedback from family who have a member of their family as resident. The staff are brilliant, all of them are so dedicated and hard-working. They made us, as a family,

always welcome and when Dad was dying, went the extra mile with me, my mum and my sister to do anything they could when Dad was poorly. They made us sandwiches and tea and coffee They checked on me when I stayed all night. They helped me out with a phone charger and were so loving with Dad. It's made his passing easier to know he was so well looked after by all. We, as a family, will be forever grateful.

Overall Experience

Excellent care provided to my father over the past three years of being a resident at Ivybank House Care Home. All the staff are professional, caring and friendly and get to know the residents and spend time with them whether it's the care assistants/housekeeping/laundry/catering/handyman/administrator/manager.

My father is always made to feel special and included in all the appropriate activities and entertainment that he enjoys. There is a dedicated activities assistant who ensures that there is a varied and enjoyable daily activities programme so that fun and entertainment can be enjoyed by all, all year round. To those who can't always participate in activities, dedicated one-to-one time is spent with them instead, playing games, listening to favourite music or chatting. The daily lunch and dinner food menus are excellent and provide much variety every day. I would strongly recommend Ivybank House Care Home as a safe and enjoyable care home for any elderly person requiring 24/7, 365 care needs.
