Overall Experience

The experience in Park Manor is always excellent. The caring kindness of all the staff is really great. They make residents and their visitors feel like family. My dad has flourished since going into Parkmanor Oaks and is so content which makes me feel very content in knowing he is well looked after.

Overall Experience

My husband was admitted to Parkmanor care home in Dec 2023 he suffers from Alzheimer's disease. From the first moment that we made contact with the home we were treated with great kindness and empathy. The home is extremely well managed and the communication is excellent. The staff are very kind and

attentive to all my husband's needs. The staff report every day on his health, mood, activity and general well being. The activities and entertainment provided are exceptional there are regular weekly events and special dates are celebrated in such a professional manner. I cannot thank the staff enough for providing a home from home for my husband and family.

Overall Experience

Our Lady's Care Home is an extremely well-run Home. It has a very warm friendly atmosphere throughout and the staff are excellent. They are very caring, warm, professional and supportive not just to the residents but to their families as well. The management and admin staff are very approachable for

any problems that may arise. The recreational coordinators have a varied range of activities taking place on a daily basis. The rooms and all public areas are kept very clean. The laundry and kitchen staff do a tremendous job also and the meals that are produced are of a high standard. I have had experiences with other Care Homes and this is by far the best.

My grandmother stayed with Parkmanor Oaks care home and she was treated so well! They are a complete credit to themselves for how much they care for their residents as if they are their own family. They spent so much time always making sure my grandmother was involved in activities, and made sure her

day was always full of laughter and joy. They are such a homely place to have a loved one stay with. I'm so grateful to each and every staff member for taking such great care of my grandmother.

Where do we start!
Parkmanor Oaks was definitely the best choice for our family, when it came to the care of our Grandmother.
We had heard amazing things from the families of residents, and having met the staff and management, we knew we had made the best decision and she would be in the right hands!
From

the first day Granny was in their care, the staff were so attentive and welcoming. You could tell they take real pleasure in helping their residents. From facilities to security, everything was just what she needed.
We had heard rumours about interactive fun days and parties for residents and their families to enjoy together and once we seen this in person, we agreed we wanted to live there ourselves!
If ever we needed any update or had questions about granny's care, there was no hesitation to keep us in the loop.
Our granny always had a smile on her face. And, without a doubt Parkmanor kept it there.
We can never thank the staff and management enough.

Wonderfully caring staff. Loads of activities for residents with huge effort in decorating for occasions. Lovely clean rooms. Facilities top notch. Constant engagement with nursing and care staff is also a big plus.

My Granny spent the last four months of her life in the Donegal Suite at Our Lady's Care Home and she couldn't have been happier there. The home was excellent but what truly stood out was the incredible staff. They cared for my Granny with such kindness and compassion, while also being a great support

to my Granda and all of us who came to visit. Their warmth, gentle care and ability to make her smile every day meant the world to us. I will always be thankful for the love and care they showed her in her final months.

Parkmanor Oaks Nursing home I can't thank them enough for their care and understanding of my mum's needs. The staff are very supportive, caring and go above and beyond to all the residents. Great entertainment days during the week getting everyone involved enjoying a few hours of music and craic. Food

is good and plentiful the kitchen staff are great providing a very high standard everyday. Parkmanor Oaks has a warm and comfortable atmosphere and a great team of people. Big thank you to them all.

Overall Experience

My experience of Parkmanor Oaks has been very good and has excelled my expectations. My mother has been a resident for 1 year and I can highly recommend Parkmanor Care Home.
The staff at every level are compassionate, helpful and friendly.
The Nursing Staff are very attentive and cognisant of my mother's

needs and react accordingly.
As a family we are kept abreast of any issues with Mum's health and the staff make every effort to ensure my mum is clean, comfortable and safe at all times.
Any issues raised by me are dealt with immediately and professionally.
The entertainment is amazing and appropriate for the residents.
Parkmanor Oaks is very family orientated and we are included in all events. The staff have become like a family to me and my family over the past year.

I would just like to give this review to Arlington Nursing Home.
I don't usually give reviews as other homes haven't been great whilst my mother has been in respite but I just have to give review for this one!
My mother has Dementia and we use nursing homes for some respite. This was the first time

we used Arlington and I cannot express how well this nursing home is run. The staff were exceptional always plenty about catering to all the residents. All sorts of activities are on for the residents, a real homely place!
The staff even came up to me and my sisters and just asked about my mummy and her life, they showed such interest they were lovely.
It was beautiful, warm and cosy at Christmas time and my mummy was always happy when I came to see her in it. If I ever had to choose respite again Arlington would be my first choice.
This home should be recognised and awarded for its exceptional care standards.

Our family can't thank Our Lady's Care Home, and the Donegal Suite staff in particular, enough for the care they gave our mom in the past few months. The staff in the Donegal Suite is incredible! They are professional, warm and patient. It was lovely to watch them, not only our mother, but with other

residents as well. To name them all would be impossible, but every nurse, care assistant, kitchen staff, laundry staff and cleaner, made my mother's experience at Our Lady's positive and supportive. Thank you all!

Overall Experience

Moving our mum to Park Manor Oaks was an incredibly hard decision, but it's been the best one we could have made. She wasn't coping well on her own and the family was scattered far and wide. The team's compassion, patience, and care for my mum have been reassuring. They take account of different personalities

and individual's likes and dislikes gently encouraging her to engage when she's withdrawn and involving her in the life of the home. They understand the power of music, entertainment and activities to boost the morale of the residents and families can take part too.
During Covid, the home worked tirelessly to ensure we could still visit and stay connected. Whether through safe visits or other ways of communicating, they kept us close to Mum, which meant so much. Any inevitable medical incidents are managed with care, good communication and attention.
Mum is getting older, but the dignity and respect she's shown here make all the difference. We feel lucky to have her here.

Nothing is too much trouble. From admission, my father-in-law has been so happy, he always looks well and clean the choice of food is fantastic and you only have to ask to ensure they get the correct care and attention. Staff are amazing and so kind, even when my mother lived here she was cared for

in the best way possible. Always able to ensure health care professionals are in attendance. I cannot say anything out of turn for each and every staff member in Parkmanor. My father-in-law has put on weight and totally involved in all activities and he is still able to have a beer when he wants it. The biggest well done on such an amazing care home.

Overall Experience

My parents both resided here when their ill health meant we could no longer look after them at home. An extremely difficult decision, but all staff from the hairdresser, domestic, carers & nurses welcomed them into the home with true compassion. My mother had a poor appetite & we witnessed staff offering

her so many different choices of food & fluids not on their menus for that day.
Entertainment/stimulus for residents & families was excellent & we used the private bar with numerous activities they provided to help them remember special occasions like Christmas, birthdays, Mother's Day, Saint Paddy's Day, 12th July (ensuring inclusion for everyone).
Their sing-alongs & reminiscence sessions were excellent.
Staff were very complimentary of management & the owners which was evident when they held cultural days to showcase the ethnic backgrounds of their staff.
We as a family will never forget the excellent care my parents received there.
