My mum's care at Barley Brook has been of the highest standard where she has been a resident for two and half years. All the staff are very attentive and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Most days I have visited there are a range of activities taking place. There are outside entertainers throughout
the year and some special events arranged eg VE Day, Kings Coronation, Christmas Party. All meals are prepared on site and look appetising and are age appropriate.

I have always found Fairfields to be welcoming, and the staff are very friendly. They treat the residents with dignity and are always ready to listen to any concerns. The activities provided are good, although it would be nice if some were provided occasionally at weekends. My mum is well cared for,
and I am confident that she is in a safe and clean environment.

My father has been a resident for 14 months and the care he has received has been excellent. All of the staff are friendly and so caring to the residents. My father made unbelievable progress when he first arrived and this is testament to the level of nurturing care he received.
Any problems which
arise are quickly dealt with and all staff are approachable. My father's room is clean and I cannot thank the staff enough for all they do.

My mother has been living at Bryn Yr Haul now for a number of years, I have always found the staff to be friendly and polite to both me and my mother and the home is always clean, all he staff always make time to stop and talk to my mum and my mum has told me the food is very good she especially likes
the sausages they get for her. Its never a nice thought of a parent going into a home, but I can honestly say I do not worry about my mum now is living at Bryn-Yr-Haul, thank you

It was the most traumatic experience I have ever had, the decision to move my mum into full time care. I could not have picked a better place. Its a cross between a little cottage hospital and a homely hotel. The staff are dedicated, caring and so much fun ! They don't just look after my mum, but they
look after me too. They have made a heartbreaking time easier. My mum loves the food so a special mention to the kitchen staff, especially the puddings. Truly, if mum hadn't have moved in, I am convinced she would not be alive today. They have built her up, loved and cared for her as if she were their own
Thank you
Sue

My mother (95) has been a resident of Fairfield for two years. We have previous experience of two of our relatives who were well looked after during their time in this home. The staff are pleasant and look after the residents well.
We've always found the home to be caring and respectful of the residents
needs. There are a mixture of daily activities led by an enthusiastic program leader.
Whilst the home may not have the interior of some " upmarket" homes it is well kept, clean and welcoming. We are happy with the way in which she is looked after.

My mother has always been independent until lost her mobility last year. I visited many homes before settling on Plas Isaf. It was a huge change for my mother - I cannot thank the staff enough for helping her settle so well. Mum loves the activities in particular and the carers really do care. The only
improvement would be to take the residents out more frequently and also to sit outside in the newly designed front garden. I would definitely recommend Plas Isaf.

Overall we are satisfied with mums care, she has plenty of opportunity to socialise, she is offered a choose of a home cooked meal. The staff are very attentive. If I was to be critical, she has lost numerous items of labelled clothes and was also wearing someone elses nightie, my mother being a proud
lady would be horrified is she was aware.
Access to the home is secure, however it can result in a waiting time of upto 10 minutes to get up after ringing the bell.
