My mum was looked after by very caring staff at Triple Trees for just over three years. They had a good understanding of her needs and adapted the care as time went on. There was one key person who knew mum the best and there was excellent communication between the staff. We were kept informed of all
changes, appointments and events. We are grateful that mum was able to stay at Triple Trees until the end of her life. The end of life care meant that she was in a familiar environment with staff who know her and this was so reassuring for her and for the family.
Triple Trees changed owners during mum's time there and they made significant changes and updates, especially with the light and airy conservatory and the outside space. They really tried to make the whole home 'homely'.
Thank you to all the staff for the care you gave our mum.

My Mother had dementia and after two falls at home, we had to find her a Care Home. We looked at a few in the area but we were most impressed with Tripletrees. The Home is well run and the residents are treated with great care and respect. The food is very good. A new conservatory has been added and
my Mother loved to sit and relax in the quiet room. Regular meetings are held where you can ask questions and make suggestions to the Management. They are always keen to listen and make changes where necessary. My Mother often said she was happy here and I would recommend Tripletrees to anyone. Thank you to all the staff for their care and kindness.

My father became a resident at Tripletrees in March 2019 after a month-long stay in hospital. From the moment he arrived there he was given wonderful care. They rehabilitated him and got him interested in walking and enjoying his food again. The management and staff are extremely caring to residents
and their families. My father started to deteriorate and knowing our families' wish to keep him from going back into hospital, they agreed with his GP to give him end of life care. He died peacefully on August 19th with Tripletrees staff giving him the most compassionate care. We were so grateful.

My mother-in-law was a resident from September 2018 until April 2019.
Both my wife and I noted that the standard of care was very high (reflected in the recent QCC report).
The staff were always helpful and my mother-in-law was at all times, clean, well presented and free of any urine infections,
having suffered considerably before being a resident.
The subsidiary care was also of a high standard, such as haircutting, nails painted, entertainment provided.
Medical care when required was available very quickly.
A very well run care home.

My Mother-in-law arrived at Tripletrees in February 2018 following several weeks in hospital after a major operation to repair a broken hip. This was sustained when she fell in December 2017 and was alone on the floor of her house for about 10 hours before being found and medical assistance was available.
Since her arrival at Tripletrees, there has been a general improvement in her health and well being. She is now settled and happy. This is thanks to the calm, gentle and professional care provided by the manager and her dedicated team. We are able to visit at any time and always made to feel very welcome.

I have found the staff at Tripletrees to be very caring and attentive to my Nan's needs. The nursing staff and management are wonderful and take a personal interest in the care they provide. The leisure and lifestyle worker has provided some fun and valuable activities. He spent time getting to know
my Nan and appreciate her qualities. My family and I have been made to feel very welcome whenever we have visited. It has been lovely knowing that she is well cared for.

My father was a resident at TripleTrees for 27 months until his unfortunate passing in September 2018. During this time there has been a change in ownership which is resulting in many improvements to the facilities which can only be good for the residents. I have always found the management and staff
to be hard working, courteous and considerate. On my visits, I was always greeted with a smile, a cup of coffee and an update on Dads situation. Dad got on well with all the staff, he felt safe and secure and I would like to thank the staff for treating Dad with dignity and patience during his stay at Tripletrees. Keep up the good work.

My father came to Tripletrees in early March 2018 as living at home with four daily care visits plus 'meals on wheels' was no longer really practical for him. He settled in well but his health continued in a steady decline that had been going on for around a year following a fall and brief hospitalisation.
However, despite the excellent care he was receiving plus visits from various family members, he sadly passed away in late June 2018. He could not have been better attended to and cared for in his final months of his ninety-six years.

Mum was cared for at Tripletrees for just over three years. During this time she blossomed. The staff are extremely loving and caring and treated mum with respect and dignity. We were always informed of visits by the GP, changes in medication and any other issues. Mum enjoyed outings to local places
and activities within the home. The staff also took the time to chat to her about her favourite photographs, and to ask us about other memories so that they could interact with mum more easily. Sadly mum lost her battle with dementia in March 2018. The care she received during her final days was excellent. My brother and I were at her bedside holding her hand and once again the staff could not have done more for us. Thank you to everyone at Tripletrees.
Reply from Emily George, Registered Manager at Tripletrees Residential Care HomeDear Glenda, I really appreciate your positive feedback about our Tripletrees. We do take pride in caring to our lovely residents needs the best way we can. Thank you

I cannot express more clearly how wonderful this home was in looking after my mother. All of the staff showed care and feelings to her ensuring she was comfortable, clean and helped her feel less confused by taking time to talk to her.
When you first enter the home I found that I was always welcomed
with a smile. When you visit your relative, you can see how the staff are with all residents.
My mother's room was spacious and welcoming, a very comfortable bed for her which was so much better than her previous home.
My mother died in the home a few weeks ago but I will never forget how well she was looked after they constantly popped in to ensure that she was comfortable even though they were very busy with other residents. This helped me, knowing that she was being cared for right up to the end.

Current Review Score: 9.9 (9.933)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.9 (9.933) out of 10 for Tripletrees Residential Care Home is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 24 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5.0 out of 5 from 24 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.933 for Tripletrees Residential Care Home is calculated as follows: ( (266 Excellents x 5) + (19 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 285 Ratings = 4.933
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 5 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Tripletrees Residential Care Home is based on 24 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 28 registered maximum number of service users is 5.6, which has been reached with 24 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
