My dad has lived at Pelham Grove since November 2019. He is by nature a very unsettled person and really struggled with the idea of living in a home, but as his dementia developed he needed 24-hour support to be safe. Pelham Grove is a wonderful, homely place with wonderful staff who deliver a really
consistent standard of care. It is the best place my dad could possibly at this time in his life. Thanks to the manager and all the staff.

My mum has been a resident at Pelham Grove Care Home since December 21. Mum had been in hospital for several weeks before being transferred to Pelham with a view to stay long term.
It was a very upsetting time for us as a family, having to accept that Mum required 24-hour care in a care home. Pelham
made her feel welcome right away and have always been amazing and caring with Mum and our family. This made us feel reassured.
The manager and the entire team are extremely hard-working and always happy to help us with any queries or concerns we have. I visit lots of nursing homes within my job role as a clinician and can honestly say Pelham Grove as a care home knocks spots off many of the nursing homes!
I would have no hesitation in recommending this care home to anyone considering a place for their loved one.
Thanks a million guys.

My Aunty was admitted to Pelham Grove on November 21. From the moment she was admitted, she was made to feel at home. The staff went above and beyond in helping her settle in and during the difficulties they experienced with my aunty due to her dementia. They never once changed towards her, still giving
her the care she needed each and every day.
A big thank you, as a family we would have loved her to stay there but her needs have changed and the home isn't the right environment for her.

Dad lived at Roxburgh House for 6 months. His quality of life increased considerably. His mobility was nil when he arrived and became fully able to move unaided but with supervision. The staff have been so supportive to Dad and ourselves, especially with the difficulties of the pandemic.
We worried
about Dad moving in because we were unable to view inside and get the feel of the place, but the manager and all the staff made us feel less anxious and settled really quickly.
The care received has been excellent, Dad was looked after with his personal care and all his health needs. He was a very proud man and the staff maintained his dignity.
Sadly Dad has passed away, but we are glad that Roxburgh House was where he had his last memories and made so many new friends.

The staff here are amazing from the boss to each and every one they make you feel so welcome. We needed respite for mum, she was there for 5 days, we were worried as first time, no need, they were amazing, she loved it. We now know if we need this full time for mum and as soon as a place is free we

Just like to say a big thank you to the manager, and all the caring staff at Roxburgh, my mums quality of life is fantastic since joining the residents of this caring care home, mum has made lots of new friends since living here, my mind is at rest knowing my mum is cared for 24/7. From mums meals,
her medication, her personal care, Drs, clinics, Chiropodist, hairdresser, I can't speak highly enough of this beautiful care home, the staff treat every old person with the utmost respect. The staff are always putting on entertainment, singers, sit down keep fit, to keep the old dears entertained. They really do go beyond expectations. I really would be lost without all their help. Thank you to each and every one of the staff for looking after mum and all her friends!

Nice visit to Roxburgh House Residential Care Home on Friday afternoon (28 October 2016) to celebrate a Double Party (Halloween /Resident 100th Birthday).
A big effort from the Care Home management and staff in organising this party for the Residents and visitors in attendance. Enjoyed by everyone,
so a big thank you is necessary to the staff for providing food/drink and singing entertainment.

I am very pleased with the care and attention my mother gets at Crompton Court I could not fault it in any way. The food is exceptional, anything she asks for she gets, she is very happy and has been since the day she went in. All the staff have made her more than welcome and I don't have to worry about
her when she is there because she is very much looked after.

My mother in law is now in failing health. She is 94 and can sometimes be difficult. (not aggressive). The staff are pleasant and respectful of her needs. They keep us informed of any issues and we have no concerns about her ongoing care.

My Mum has resided at this home for 10 years. It has a warm family feel to it and she has always been well cared for and treated with dignity and respect. She recently sadly passed away and the staff at the home have been wonderful, kind and supportive to both my Mum and myself.

I feel that mum is having excellent care throughout her stay here at Roxburgh House. Mum is really happy and settled, she is talking a lot more than she used to talk. Mum is eating and has a lovely appetite. She always talks lovely about the staff. I am really pleased that she is safe and happy and
has made lots of friends she loves the carers and am really grateful and only wish that mum could have settled here sooner a few years ago. Thank you to everyone for all your care and support.
