First impressions are very important and The Maples does not disappoint. The ground floor includes the large foyer, lounge, dining area and flats.
Furnishings throughout are really nice.
As one gets older and might be living alone, nice surroundings, security, qualified caring staff and company are precious.
Security and safety are paramount at The Maples we have our own personal alarm which puts us in touch 24/7.
The grounds are monitored by CCTV.
The Maples is flexible, you can have as much privacy and independence as you wish, good choice of meals.
Various activities are available during the week.
The Maples has a flat for families to stay at any time.
We receive visits from ministers of all religions.
At the root of our well being are good relationships, when we are good to ourselves and to one another and are blessed by everyday expressions of caring, big or small. This is certainly the case at The Maples.
Safe, happy environment. Independent living with some care input.
Staff caring, very pleasant and helpful but not intrusive.
Management meets with residents to discuss ongoing issues and proposed developments.
Varied menu and three-course lunch usually cooked to a very high standard.
Organised activities available if residents wish to participate.
Pleasant grounds to enjoy.
Friendly fellow residents and a very peaceful environment to enjoy a comfortable retirement.
A first class retirement home of some 60 flats set in extremely attractive grounds. All required facilities are there and it is well staffed with caring and understanding staff. Care is available dependent upon ones needs. An onsite restaurant is available with well varied menu (five star health and safety rating) Although named as Methodist Housing Association there is no need to be a Methodist, christian or any/none religion.
Overall Edina Court is excellent in all respects. Which includes staff activities, services, grounds etc.
