My Father in Law was admitted for a months respite care in June 2026. Following his respite care, it was decided that in my Father in Laws best interests would be for him to become a permanent resident at Treetops. We as a Family, are really pleased about this, as he has settled in really well, always looks clean, presentable and clean shaven. The Staff are all very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble for them. We are happy that he is being well looked after and is safe at all times. Home is also spotlessly clean and a very welcoming environment.

Treetops is a very friendly and welcoming place to live, with all staff demonstrating a high degree of care and professionalism. Our family is delighted that our mother is so happy and contented at Treetops, and is so well looked after.

After coming to view Treetops for the first time, for a care home for my dad, it was so welcoming, bright and homely. Dad moved in to Treetops in June 2024, and loved his new room. Dad enjoyed the company of other residents and the staff. As I live in Cornwall, it was such a blessing to know my dad was in a safe and caring environment. The staff are all wonderful, with a wide variety of activities to keep all residents stimulated and lovely food options. Sadly, Dad passed away in August 2025, but in that time, he was at Treetops he was treated with, love, care and dignity. Thank you.

Mum is frail, hoisted and needs help with everything. I love the way staff take care to coordinate her outfits, pamper her, find her TV programmes and remember to make her favourite cappuccinos! Seating which is comfortable & mobile between rooms has been a challenge. Also many residents on her floor have limited conversation & can seem disturbed at times which Mum has found disappointing, but she feels happy sitting by the window in her lovely airy room.

My mum moved into Anwen in August after spending several months in hospital. At a young and spritely 73 visiting care homes was something that was never on our radar this time last year but her condition (Alzheimers) deteriorated so suddenly and at such a rate that the decision was taken out of our hands. Against dad's will I dragged him around to visit a number of homes and he left every one in tears... except Anwen! As soon as we walked in we knew this was who we trusted to look after our loved one!

The staff are genuinely second to none and care for mum as if she were their own family member with genuine empathy, sensitivity and a cheeky smile which, although she struggles now to speak, mum returns every time! The variation of activities on offer and boundless enthusiasm with which they are run is a genuine pleasure to see. Residents always seem happy and busy and it's so heartwarming to see them making genuine friendships!

I'm forever grateful we found Anwen for mum!

Me and my family are so pleased with Abergarw Manor Care Home that my mother is now living there, and getting all the care she needs and more. We feel that we are more at ease and have peace of mind when we are not with her, and a lovely welcome every time we visit.

My husband stayed at Anwen for respite care recently. From the moment we arrived up to the moment he left, he was treated with kindness, consideration and dignity. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who were helpful, cheerful and smiling. This made his stay as pleasant as possible. Thank you to Anwen, and keep up the good work!

The manager of Anwen has been so kind and helpful to the family, she has taken time to ensure we as a family feel supported throughout the process of moving my wife into the care home. All the staff are so friendly and welcoming. The care that they give to my wife is excellent. The well being team are amazing. I cannot fault Anwen Care Home, it is a brilliant care home and I would recommend it to anyone making the difficult decision to put a family member into care.

The care home is very well run, it's like one big happy family for residents and staff.

My elderly dad has been at Treetops for over 2 years now and has been very well looked after during this time. The staff, from the manager and her deputy, to all the hardworking carers, catering staff and cleaning and maintenance staff all contribute to a happy, well run environment in which I feel that dad is safe and well looked after. All the staff are very caring and compassionate and look after dad so well.

A clean and professionally run care home. The staff and management are excellent and have created a carring environment which I feel my mum can genuinely call home. There are always activities and things going on to keep mum entertained, she ahs made friends and the food is very good. I would happily recommend Treetops.

Treetops is such an amazing place. The staff are wonderful + my dad who has recently moved in is so happy + well cared for. Our family are very grateful to everyone who cares for him.

The home is always immaculately clean, but also homely feel with some really well considered and thoughtful fittings and 'touches'. The staff are brilliant - always welcoming, friendly and warm - I cannot speak highly enough of them!

My husband is very happy here and has been here almost 2 months already . Highly recommend this home and it's wonderful staff , nothing is too much trouble for them . Wonderful parties here for the residents, and their families who are always supported and included in everything

My husband was admitted to Abergarw after a long stay in hospital and I was apprehensive as to whether he would settle. Within days, however, the staff, who chose to go out of their way to speak to him and make a fuss of him, were being rewarded with a smile and they were already teasing out the personality behind the twinkle in his eyes. The nursing staff were second to none, dealing promptly and efficiently with the ailments he suffered during his 8 week stay and communicated well with me throughout. Abergarw certainly has a high number of "stars" right across the organisation eg in front line care, entertainment, cleaning, admin, catering. His birthday there (sadly his last) was actually his best in years! Naturally there were teething problems, mainly around my husband's diet, but these were resolved quickly and efficiently. My only recommendation if starting a new relationship with "any" Home is to arrange an early meeting to agree on mutually acceptable communication routes.

I've got to say the staff plus the management are very helpful.
