Reception staff greeted us warmly. The home was impeccably well kept clean and tidy. The care towards my mam was lovely and she seems so happy. There is allways lots of activities to keep my mam busy and occupied.

I was quite sad when it came to moving Dad away, and the staff said they were sad to see him go and said such nice things about him. I would not hesitate to recommend this care home.

My nanny was in this care home receiving end of life care. Even though she ended up being at the home for only 9 days we were very happy with the care she received. All of the staff, from managers to nurses to receptionists, were kind, caring and compassionate. As soon as you walk through the door you feel the lovely atmosphere that the home creates. We were so glad that we picked this home for my nanny to live out her last days.

An Outstanding Care Home

My Mam has been in the care home since the end of June, and from the moment she arrived, she settled in so quickly and comfortably.

The care she receives has been outstanding. Every member of staff, from the receptionists and nurses to the care assistants and domestic staff, is incredibly friendly, kind and caring.

What has really touched me is how, in such a short space of time, they have all got to know my Mam as an individual. They understand her, know her needs and genuinely care about her wellbeing. It is so reassuring as a family to see how comfortable and happy she is.

I honestly couldn't have wished for a better place for my Mam to be. After what has been a difficult time, we can finally feel settled knowing that she is safe, happy and being so well looked after.

A huge thank you to every member of staff for everything you do. You are all amazing, and we are so grateful.

My father has been at The Grange for the past 11 months, and throughout that time we have been incredibly grateful for the kindness, dignity and compassion shown to him by every member of staff. He enjoys the daily routine, activities and welcoming atmosphere, and always feels included and well cared for. His room and bathroom are always spotless, comfortable and well maintained. The medical care is outstanding, and we are kept informed whenever he is unwell, giving us complete confidence that he is receiving the very best care. He feels safe and secure knowing staff check on him regularly, and the management team are always friendly, approachable and excellent at keeping us updated. Finally, the food deserves a special mention-my father has always enjoyed cooking and good food, so it means a great deal that he looks forward to every meal. We can't thank everyone at The Grange enough for making him feel so happy, comfortable and truly at home.

Mam has been at The Grange for a few weeks and seems to be settling in well. She was diagnosed with alzheimers dementia about 7 years ago and has been living at home with my dad (who is now 89) with daily visits from carers. It's become too difficult for dad to continue looking after her 24/7 because he is now quite frail so we made the decision to move her into full time care. I am so pleased we chose The Grange care home. Everyone from the domestic staff right through to the manager, Carmen have been absolutely lovely and so welcoming. Me and my dad already feel like part of The Grange family. It's quite difficult for my dad to adjust to life at home without my mam after 64 years of marriage but all of the staff are helping him by being so kind and caring. He stayed and had his Sunday lunch which he enjoyed. We attended a Dementia party where there was a live singer and lots of yummy cakes. Mam really seemed to enjoy it and was singing along, which was lovely to see.

I can't thank the staff enough for not only taking care of my precious Mam like she is there own but for also taking the worry away from me and my family, because we know she is safe and so well looked after.

My mother has been a resident in Willowdene Care Home for the last 2+ years and I can honestly say that I am extremely satisfied and delighted with the high level of care that she receives. All staff work very well together and their hard work and dedication is always evident when I visit. Residents are encouraged to participate in activities 2x a day, which are well organised and suited to individual needs. I would highly recommend this care home to anyone seeking full time care in this facility.

Come to a funeral reception for a very good friend. His wife is still a resident. Very welcoming, clean and staff were super caring for the wife of the deceased. Very impressed.

My friend and her husband were both residents in Willowdene Care Home. Sadly my friends husband died recently, and the staff at the care home could not have been more caring. They helped my friend to prepare for the funeral and offered a room, and their catering for his wake. Everything was done to ensure this sad event went as well and smoothly as possible. Thank you.

I have stayed at Willowdene Care Home for approx 6 weeks. In that time I have been very well cared for. The carers have been very kind and helpful during my stay, in fact everyone that I have come into contact with have been wonderful. The food has been good and teasy - no complaints from me.

The Lawns has a homely feel about it and there is a sense of freedom.

A well run care home with some excellent staff. Close relationships are formed between staff and residents helping to make the home an enjoyable place to live. Management is responsive to any problems that arise. Activities could be improved with a better activities budget.

Absolutely fantastic! Can not fault the place or staff, they are so friendly, caring and go over and beyond. The activities are stimulating and brilliant, enjoyed by everyone. It is a comfort to know my grandma is cared for so well by such wonderful staff. She is extremely happy here and loves it. Thank you to all and very merry Christmas.
