As the grandson of a resident, I can confidently say that this care home has been a blessing for our entire family. From the moment my grandfather moved in, we were welcomed with warmth, understanding, and genuine compassion. The staff treat him not just as a resident, but as a person-with dignity,
patience, and kindness.
He often tells us how much he enjoys the meals, the activities, and especially the company. It's a huge comfort knowing he's safe, well cared for, and in an environment that truly feels like home. Whenever we visit, we see how happy and relaxed he is, and that peace of mind is priceless.
Thank you to everyone at George Hythe house for giving our family the gift of knowing our loved one is in such capable and caring hands. You've made a difficult transition so much easier, and we're incredibly grateful.

The home were very helpful when my brother and I came to look around separately. We felt the home had a warm and friendly atmosphere - when Mum moved in, we experienced this. We, and Mum, were always offered drinks when we visited Mum. Mum interacted well with the staff, who were very attentive and
caring. The room she had was lovely, and she ate well whilst she was there. Communication was good with the home, and they were very respectful and understanding near the end of Mum's life.

Despite living over three hours away, I always feel reassured whether I'm calling or visiting, the staff are consistently warm, responsive,

The staff are lovely they, always make you feel welcome on arriving. In the three years my brother has been there he has never been happier. The entertainment is excellent and weather permitted my brother is always out.
The Home is clean and tidy. Nothing is too much for any of the staff and management.
My brother relation and family love seeing the photos on social media and even they have seen the change in my brother.
I struggled terribly when I had to put my brother in the Home, calling the Home visiting all the time as I was so worried and concerned, but everyone was great reassuring that my brother was fine. Now when I go i am lucky if I get 5 minutes with him as he is so happy doing things he had never done before
I can not thank all the staff members and management for the marvellous job they do.

I was looking for good care home since long time. Main thing for me was the Gujarati-speaking staff and proper vegetarian food for my mother. I first called one local home but they were full, then someone told me about this home and we came to see.

From first visit only, I got good feeling. Staff

were smiling, talking nicely, and understanding our culture. My mother is staying here since one month now, and already she has settled so nicely. Staff speak Gujarati with her, and she is eating well - all food is veg and made with love.

To keep parent in care home is not easy decision. We always feel little guilty in heart. But now I see she is getting better care here than what we can give at home. She has good company, activities to do, and all medical things available like wheelchair, hoist, special bed - all in place. At home we don't have all this.

I come every day to visit. Staff never say no, always welcome me with smile and respect. My mother is happy, safe, and well looked after

It was a very hard decision as a family to place my grandfather into a care home, my grandfather is very well taken care off, he has put on weight, he is smiling, well groomed and has made friends, the care team are so caring and compassionate nothing is too much trouble, the manager listens and was
aware how nervous we were as a family with the process, we are completely reassured and want to thank everybody for being amazing. I can visit my grandfather and leave the home knowing he is very well taken care of as a family this means the world.

My aunty is in great hands - the staff are fantastic and always there for her, day and night. She's treated with genuine kindness and respect, and nothing is ever too much trouble. They make sure her asian dietary needs are taken care of, and she absolutely loves getting involved in the singing and
activities from the activities coordinators. It gives us real peace of mind knowing she's safe, happy, and truly cared for. The manager has a fabulous team here.
