We cannot find enough words or gratitude for everyone @ Gokul Vrandavan. My mother in law gave all the staff a very hard time but they always acted with dignity, patience and care. We will be forever grateful to everyone at GV. Thank you, thank you to the manager and the team.

In my view, the only thing that lets the place down is the shortage of care staff. I understand staff are busy and residents who wish to go to the toilet require two staff to make that possible. When you have couple shouting to go, it becomes a problem. I am glad that staff don't get stressed, and do
their job with a smile on their face.
Reply from Alexandra Cooke, Customer Engagement at The New Wycliffe HomeThank you for your thoughtful feedback, we will certainly review this with the team Your comments are appreciated, and we're delighted to hear our staff's compassion and professionalism stood out to you.

My mum has been in West View for 5 weeks and has settled in really quickly. The family always receive a welcome when we visit and the whole team are friendly and nothing is to much trouble. The activities they hold include everyone and for the 60's/70's event it was so great and heart-warming to see
the mum I remember singing along and joining in having fun.
Reply from Alexandra Cooke, Customer Engagement at West View Residential Care HomeThis is such a lovely review! Thank you so much for taking the time out to leave this review. My mum has received very good, attentive and kind care since her admission to West View Care Home at Glen Parva. During my mum's stay, my mum's husband passed away. Despite her lack of mobility, all the staff management alike went to great lengths to make the day work, and this is something that will
never be forgotten. Thank you.
Reply from Alexandra Cooke, Customer Engagement at West View Residential Care HomeThank you for your heartfelt review and for sharing your experience with West View Care Home. We are so pleased to hear that your mum has received attentive, kind, and compassionate care since moving into the home.
We were deeply saddened to hear of your mum's husband's passing, and we are honoured that our team could support your mum and family during such a difficult and emotional time. Ensuring that your mum was able to be part of the day despite her mobility challenges was incredibly important to us, and your kind words will mean a great deal to both the care and management teams.
Providing person-centred care, dignity, and support during life's most difficult moments is at the heart of what we do, and we truly appreciate you taking the time to recognise the efforts of the team. Thank you once again for your lovely feedback.

My father was very anxious about going in for respite, due to it being his first time. We visited the home, were shown around by patient and friendly staff who spoke to my father and asked him if he had any questions, putting him at ease. He went in for respite for 3 weeks. He had a very positive experience
telling his family how friendly the staff were and how helpful. He said the room was nice with a view of the garden. He also complimented the food. His stay was better than expected.
Reply from Alexandra Cooke, Customer Engagement at Parkhouse GrangeThank you for taking the time to share your feedback about your father's respite stay at Parkhouse Grange. We understand that coming into care for the first time can feel overwhelming, so we are delighted to hear that our team helped put your father at ease from the very beginning during your visit to the home.
It is wonderful to know that he had such a positive experience during his three-week stay and that he found our team friendly, helpful, and supportive throughout. We are also pleased that he enjoyed his room overlooking the garden and complimented the food provided by our kitchen team.
Providing a welcoming, comfortable, and reassuring environment for both residents and their families is extremely important to us, and your kind comments mean a great deal to the whole team at Parkhouse Grange. Thank you once again for your lovely review.

I have lost a little confidence recently in the ability of some of the staff members at the care home . My mum has recently suffered from dehydration after getting a blood test that was requested by a doctor . If it wasn't for that blood test we would not have known this . My mum had the blood test
because she lost 4:5 kilograms over a short space of time . The results showed high sodium levels indicating dehydration . I know my mum has difficulty swallowing due to her condition but I do not feel that staff spend enough time with her to make sure she has enough fluids. During the weekends there are no managers physically based in the home although you can contact them . There are some lovely staff at the home that work hard but there is a lack at the weekends ( or seems to be .) most of the time someone answers the phone but not always . Mum has started to put weight on thankfully . But still suffers pain when she pees into her pad .

Overall experience has been very good. Staff are very caring and mum has been happy with the care received. The only issue mum is having at the moment is the quality of Asian food. When she first arrived at Wycliffe, the food had been prepared somewhere else. There was more variation and tasty, but
now she doesn't enjoy the food at lunch or at dinner time, and is not eating much and this is a concern for us at the moment.

Magnolia deems to be a well run home and has improved over the past year under a new manager. The staff are friendly and caring and I like the fact that there are regular visits by a doctor. There a variety of activities and the food seems good. The only downside really is that personal belongings go
missing.

Putting my dad in a care home is the hardest decision we have ever had to make. After a long unsettling day in hospital dad was taken to West View, upset and disoriented I was ready to take him home but then the carers took him to his bedroom, got him ready for bed and by the time we left he was snuggled
up and having a laugh with the carers and from that moment we were happy to leave him in their excellent care. West View feels very homely; the residents and families are lovely. Dad always had plenty to drink and eat, and we were always offered a drink when we visited. They made dad feel cherished, respected and cared for. We would like to thank all the team at West View for taking care of dad, and to let them know they do a difficult job, but they make such a difference to people's lives.
Reply from Alexandra Cooke, Customer Engagement at West View Residential Care HomeThank you so much for taking the time out to add this review. We always strive to provide the best care for our residents and loved ones. Thank you once again!

I cannot thank the staff at this care home enough for the love, dignity and kindness they showed my Mum during her time here. From the moment she arrived, she was treated with such compassion and respect, and it gave our family real peace of mind knowing she was in such safe and caring hands.
Every
member of staff went above and beyond - not just meeting her needs, but genuinely caring about her as a person. They took the time to talk to her, reassure her, and make her feel comfortable and valued, which meant more to us than words can express.
The environment was warm, welcoming and well-run, and communication with our family was always clear, supportive and thoughtful. We never felt like just another family - we felt listened to and cared for too.
Although Mum has now moved on, we will always be grateful for the care she received here. This home truly makes a difference to the lives of residents and their families, and I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

This was probably the scariest thing I have ever done, moving into a care home. However, all of the staff have made this experience so easy. All of the staff, regardless of their role, have been caring, helpful and supportive. If I had to do this all over again, I would certainly choose Enderby Grange.

My father was a resident of Portland house for 3 and half years before he sadly passed away. The care home is a real home from home where all of the staff care deeply for the residents, and they made a really hard time for our family as smooth as it could have possibly been. They did everything possible
to keep dad involved and comfortable as his condition deteriorated.
The home is so welcoming to friends and family visiting the residents and there is always something going on where both residents and families can get involved adding a real community feel to the home. I would recommend Portland house wholeheartedly.
