I visit Jubilee House with my therapy dog to provide a pet therapy service, and also as a support worker to see one of their residents. I always look forward to my visits, I love it here!
This place is absolutely top class, you could easily mistake it for a hotel and not a care home! It is always immaculately
clean and tidy and always smells lovely.
The staff are all wonderful, and genuinely care about every single resident and their family, nothing is ever too much trouble. I am always made to feel so welcome, I'm offered meals, drinks, snacks whenever I visit and the staff always chat to me.
The atmosphere is lovely, everyone is happy and well looked after and I imagine it's just like living with a bunch of friends in one big house, I keep saying that I want to move in myself!
There is always something to do, a jam packed well thought out activity plan every week and something to suit everyone.
Genuinely 5 stars and I would recommend Jubilee House to anyone, every time.

A client of ours recently moved in to Jubilee House and I was part of the assessment and moving process. I cannot thank the staff and management team enough for making a scary process for her a lot easier. They have constantly put her at ease and made her feel comfortable. We visit on a weekly basis
and the kindness and care of the support staff continues and is extended to us too. They cannot do enough for us and always make us feel welcome. I know the lady is happy and settled there and it makes us feel better knowing that she is safe and well cared for. I would 100% reccommend this care home to anyone who asks and have done several times! Well done to the Jubilee House team!!

My 90 year old mum moved into Leycester House in May 2024 when she was struggling badly, both mentally and physically. Almost immediately we saw a drastic improvement in her well-being. Her comfortable room is on the nursing floor and the level of care and nursing is superb. She has a great relationship
with the nurses/carers. She looks and acts 20 years younger. The admin/reception/catering staff I've come into contact with are lovely. The private dining room and bar area are attentive. The events organised are frequent and varied. It is a really happy place to visit. I've got my mum back and want to thank everyone at Leycester House for making that happen.

My father was sadly not at Leycester House for long due to the nature of his illness, but the end-of-life care he received was exemplary. The nursing staff worked proactively and sensitively with the local GP practice to ensure Dad was pain-free and comfortable in his last days. Lots of welcoming smiles
for us as family and two staff members in particular could not be more generous with their time. The rooms can sometimes feel quite small but the bar was well stocked and looked after!

As my husband became increasingly unwell, the time came for him to go to Leycester House, where he had spent a fortnight a couple of months earlier to give me respite from attending to him at home day and night. He knew that he was going to a home that had looked after him beautifully, so he was pleased
to go there again. Leycester House has a happy atmosphere, nothing is too much trouble for the staff, and they always greet residents and visitors with smiling faces. He enjoyed the meals, and visitors are encouraged to join the residents for coffee, tea and homemade cake and, if ordered the day before, lunch, which was much appreciated. In fact, visitors are welcome to visit whenever they choose. My thanks go to all the staff for making a previously unknown experience for me and my family as good as it could possibly be.

From first contact, the customer focus, responsiveness, empathy and attention to detail from one staff member in particular at Jubilee House has been outstanding. It's still early days for my parents' stay, but the first experience of customer service and care has been excellent; warm, human, professional

Following a short stay in hospital, Leycester House was absolutely fantastic in the way they adapted to my Dad's new situation and requirements. Despite his advanced dementia and inability to really express himself, it was clear that he was thrilled to be back 'home' with a huge smile for the care staff
who welcomed him back.
Nothing appears to be too much trouble and they are always thinking of ways to improve his quality of life. They are also always so kind and supportive to both myself and my elderly Mum. Thank you all so much.

I have just been to visit a friend in Jubilee House and was amazed at the facilities on site. I felt very welcomed by all the staff I met and could see how my friend felt safe and comfortable with them. Mum came in initially for a 4 week stay while her house sale finalised. Right from initial contact, I've felt confident that everyone has mum's best interests at heart. She had lived on her own for a long time and was comfortable with her own company but she has rediscovered a part of herself that seemed
to have died along with her friends over the years, the positive effects of interaction with others.
The food is of a high standard and the variety is excellent. I've been made to feel welcome each time I visit and the fact I can drop in for coffee or book in for lunch with her is such a bonus.
Great place, great staff.

Overall, mum seems very happy at Jubilee House Care Home. If she's happy so am I. Mum is very well cared for. Staff are super helpful and kind. Activities and stimulation are superb and it's lovely to see mum joining in. I love the social media page so I can see mum even though I live 100 miles away.
One concern is a lack of 24 hour wrap around care at the weekend evenings. Mum and her friend called on their buzzer and no one came. This should never happen. It's what we pay for.
Reply from Ann-Marie Baker, Senior Customer Relationship Manager at Jubilee House Care Home

Thank you so much for you open and honest feedback, all comments are welcomed and addressed. It is important to reassure you, there is always sufficient 24/7 care cover 365 days a year, weekends and evenings are no exception. From time to time there may an unexpected emergency (such as a fall) in the home where 2 or 3 staff members are required to see to one resident and this may result in the call bell response time being longer than is usual for the home. I am very sorry that your mother felt on this said occasion, she wasn't given the attention she required in the timely manner she is used to. We will continue to do our very best to meet expectations and deliver excellent care.
