From the very first day the staff were so warm and welcoming with my mum who has mixed dementia and to all the family. They are so caring and it's reassuring to know mum is in safe hands. She settled in quickly 14 months ago and seems so happy there. We as a mums daughters would highly recommend the
home.

My partner has been at Aaron Court since November 2023 and I am more than happy with the level of care he receives. All the staff are wonderful, very friendly and have made me feel welcome from the beginning. The staff take time to talk with residents and families and do a very difficult job very well.
They
have a lovely garden area and the food is always to a high standard.

My brother went into Aaron Court 17 months ago. I visit with my sister in law on a regular basis. The difference in my brother is amazing. He is happy, eating well and so well looked after. He is enjoying the care and attention from the staff who are so kind and lovely. I have watched staff with residents,
and the care and patience shown is exceptional. Having nursed my own mother with Alzheimer's, I know how hard their job is and your staff show so much love and are even at difficult times. My brother is enjoying all the activities in the lounge and it's lovely to see him laughing again. I have to say, from entering the building to the residents' lounge, the place is so clean and smells fresh, which is just so lovely.

Whilst CQC have given an inadequate report as the daughter of a resident i must disagree with their assessment. I can only comment on my experience. I cannot comment on the paperwork side of the report. I find the staff vet kind and caring to my mothers needs, my mum is always clean and dressed.
Her nails are always clean, her hair is always washed and dried. If I ask a question of the staff I am always given a response. The activities staff are fantastic, they adapt activities to residents ability. All staff treat my mum with kindness and dignity. I am kept will informed of mums health, if anything occurs I am contacted straight away. Mums room is always clean and fresh as is her laundry. Overall the home itself is always clean and tidy. Visitors are treated with kindness and respect.

My mother in law has had excellent care since joining the home over 3 years ago. The staff all care about her and are interested in her. They have helped to calm her down when she was anxious and have always treated her with dignity and respect. We are so glad we found Aaron Court.

My father has just spent a few weeks in Simonsfield. The team that looked after him were second to none. The home is incredibly well appointed with great facilities, excellent food, comfortable spacious rooms, cinema, lounges, dining rooms. Great programme of things to do. From the moment he arrived
he was made to feel welcome and every single carer had him and the rest of the residents at the centre of what they do. They were incredibly supportive and looked after him really well. Debbie runs a great team and all the careers, nurses and staff could not do enough for us.

Absolutely disgusting place walls are filthy stinks of urine not homely at all my aunty looled disgusting hair a mess and all dried up sleep in her eyes my dog lives in better conditions needs looking into.

Regarding the odour, we recently had an IPC inspection, where no urine odour was detected, and the home was praised for its cleanliness. The walls have been freshly painted and are well-maintained, with wear and tear being regularly monitored. Your aunt's personal care is a priority, and she is always washed, dressed, and groomed with dignity and respect.

The signing book is always available, and we welcome any further feedback or discussion on how we can continue to support your aunt's well-being.

My Dad became a resident of Halton View in June and has settled in really well. His room is clean and tidy. He is well looked after and is offered plenty of enrichment activities. The food always smells amazing and he is offered choices at every meal. It's always hard having to make the choice to put
a loved one into residential care, but my mind is at ease knowing he is getting well looked after.

The carers and staff here are amongst the nicest people I have met, the care and consideration they give to the residents is bountiful.
After visiting my aunt I leave knowing full well she will be looked after and I need not worry.
I feel blessed that we managed to get my aunt a place here.

I try to visit my dad most days, even if it's only half an hour. Each time, I am made to feel so welcome by all the staff, office doors are always open to encourage openness and feedback. The staff do an amazing job, which is not easy when caring for dementia patients. I'm so grateful for the wonderful
care dad's getting at a difficult time in our lives and can't thank them enough.

Excellent at looking after my Dad, staff are very friendly and the manager is a lovely person. My Dad feels very comfortable in staying at this home, he wasn't at the previous home. He is much happier in this home
