Mam was made to feel very welcome when we arrived. She was very pleased with her room it has everything that she needs. She likes the fact that the toilet and sink is in it's own little room. She loves the view onto the garden.

Mam was an independent, strong, self motivated woman, until she wasn't.
In January we were hit with the realisation that mam was no longer able to physically help herself, she and we needed help to help her.
Ingleby Care Home came into our lives, and in all honesty neither of us knew how this would
work, we soon found out.
Ingleby is a unique and special place, the people that keep it going day and night are the heart of its community. Care is an understatement, all the Team work extremely hard every minute of the long days, yet they all wear the biggest smiles, have an abundance of patience, and simply cannot do enough to make you and your loved one feel safe.
They are passionate about their roles, treat their residents like their own family, make you feel quite simply, at home.
Mam was fortunate to spend the last weeks of her life there, where she was shown dignity and respect. She herself praised them daily, Ingleby Care is a unique place filled with special people. Thank you
Reply from Mike English, Home Manager at Ingleby Care HomeThank you so much for such a kind review and I will share your feedback with all of the staff. Your Mam was a pleasure to care for and such a lovely lady, as were all of the family who visited. Sending our deepest condolences to you and the family and please feel free to call in for a cuppa
Take care

All staff are very friendly and helpful.
Great activities and regular. Activities co-ordinator Nicola is fantastic.
Encouragement given to socialise and join in activities. Regular hairdresser makes such a difference. Management and maintenance man (John) are very receptive to requests, complaints,
and needs to make changes for good quality living, clothes are cleaned and returned in good order.

My father really never wanted to go into a care home but realised it was time he did. HE settled in straight away and felt all the staff were lovely to him. He didn't like joining in with activities, unfortunately but really enjoyed all the food. As his daughter, I was always made to feel welcome and
felt Dad was safe and well cared for. I have happily recommended your care home to a number of people.
Reply from Mike English, Home Manager at Ingleby Care HomeHi Barbara, thank you so much for your review, its always important to us to receive such positive feedback and I will share with the staff team. We hope you are all well and the offer still stands to call in for a cuppa

My Aunt was a resident in The Beeches for Palliative Care and sadly passed away after thirteen days.
During her stay the staff were truly excellent. Everybody made her feel welcome from the Manager, Deputy Manager, Senior Carers, Carers, the Receptionist and the Handyman all went above and beyond to
make my Aunts final days as comfortable and peaceful as possible.
They were genuinely caring, kind people and I couldn't have asked for better care.
The building is in need of some refurbishment, but the care and the food were excellent.
I was genuinely impressed with the support and compassion shown to both my Aunt and myself and I can't thank you all enough x

What can I say about this home and its staff. Jenny and her team are absolute angels. The care and compassion shown to my nanna whilst she was in their care was second to none. Nanna fit straight in and the staff made such a fuss over her and were always at her beck and call for cups of tea or for a
dance if nan felt like it.
Unfortunately my nanna passed away recently and I could see how heartbroken all the staff were and that's because they really cared. The staff put 100% into caring for their residence and also getting to know their families. I can hand on heart say I would recommend Jenny and her team to any family looking for 24 hour care for their loved ones.
From cleaners to cooks, from admin to activities coordinators, the team is compassionate and caring and deserve the recognition of this
If I had one criticism it would only be that the home does not receive a great deal of money for activities, but they do what they can with what they have got and try and bring some fun

Due to having emergency surgery on 8/12/25 which has been life changing ie above knee amputation there was absolutely no pleace I would come for rehab except The Beeches as my husband is permenant resident upstars and I have a room downstairs. My care has been excellent and as an ex nurses I try to
be a good patient. I have confidence in everyone from management carers cleaning laundry staff handy man and activities and admin kitchen staff. Nothing is too much trouble for anyone. Without a doubt I would recommened The Beeches to anyone looking for a care home in the area.

This nursing home has had a number of changes in management in the last 2-3 years. I have a great respect for the present manager, who has had to incorporate new working priorities. Some staff don't like change, but she has now done this, and we are now finding a smoother and happier environment. The
staff don't have an easy job, but they carry out their work very well.
