Always feel safe and secure in the nursing home. A change of management has certainly brought a much better atmosphere The carers we now have fall over backwards to help in every way possible and I get along with them all. It is always such a friendly experience. Activities are excellent, covering a
wide range. Food is very good apart from some agency staff we occassionally have to use.
Reply from Allison Mulvihill, Home Manager at Hazelgrove Court Nursing HomeThank you for your very kind words David. I am so pleased that you feel safe, secure and happy here at Hazelgrove.

I would like to say a big thank you to all the staff involved in our Dads care during the seven years Hazelgrove has been his home .
Words can not express how grateful we all are as a family for the love and care given to Ted , and also to our Mam, Sheila who spent most days visiting him until her
recent passing.
We were so touched by how you looked after us all during Dads final few days and also by the wonderful care and love you gave him.
Thank you all so much

I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude for the exceptional care my mother-in-law received at Mandale House Care Home, especially in her final days. From her arrival, the staff treated her with kindness, ensuring she felt at home.
As she approached the end of her life, the compassion shown by
the caregivers was extraordinary. They prioritized her comfort and emotional well-being, providing reassurance during those difficult moments. Their attention to detail in her care made a significant difference.
The staff kept us informed and involved, allowing us to be present with her, which was invaluable. As we faced the sorrow of her passing, their empathy and support eased our burden immensely.
We are deeply thankful for the love and dignity they provided to my mother-in-law and our family. Mandale House Care Home is truly remarkable, and we highly recommend it for anyone seeking outstanding care for their loved ones. Thank you for the kindness you showed during this challenging time

The staff were amazing getting our mother settled in on her discharge from a short stay in hospital. She has settled really well and is joining in on the majority of activities.
The home is set in beautiful grounds and the views from all the windows are trees and gardens which she can safely walk
around.
We are always made welcome on visits by all the staff and quickly brought up to date on what she has been up to.
A big thank you to all the staff for all your care and support.

My Mum has been at Mandale House since November 2025. Sadly she died last night but I want to express our families gratitude and thanks for the wonderful care she received whilst at the home.
All the staff were welcoming and friendly and went the extra mile to ensure my Mums comfort and care.
We definitely
hit the jackpot with this care home and we would not hesitate to recommend this care home to others
Once again thank you for everything

Mam was an independent, strong, self motivated woman, until she wasn't.
In January we were hit with the realisation that mam was no longer able to physically help herself, she and we needed help to help her.
Ingleby Care Home came into our lives, and in all honesty neither of us knew how this would
work, we soon found out.
Ingleby is a unique and special place, the people that keep it going day and night are the heart of its community. Care is an understatement, all the Team work extremely hard every minute of the long days, yet they all wear the biggest smiles, have an abundance of patience, and simply cannot do enough to make you and your loved one feel safe.
They are passionate about their roles, treat their residents like their own family, make you feel quite simply, at home.
Mam was fortunate to spend the last weeks of her life there, where she was shown dignity and respect. She herself praised them daily, Ingleby Care is a unique place filled with special people. Thank you
Reply from Mike English, Home Manager at Ingleby Care HomeThank you so much for such a kind review and I will share your feedback with all of the staff. All staff are very friendly and helpful.
Great activities and regular. Activities co-ordinator Nicola is fantastic.
Encouragement given to socialise and join in activities. Regular hairdresser makes such a difference. Management and maintenance man (John) are very receptive to requests, complaints,
and needs to make changes for good quality living, clothes are cleaned and returned in good order.

My father really never wanted to go into a care home but realised it was time he did. HE settled in straight away and felt all the staff were lovely to him. He didn't like joining in with activities, unfortunately but really enjoyed all the food. As his daughter, I was always made to feel welcome and
felt Dad was safe and well cared for. I have happily recommended your care home to a number of people.

My Aunt was a resident in The Beeches for Palliative Care and sadly passed away after thirteen days.
During her stay the staff were truly excellent. Everybody made her feel welcome from the Manager, Deputy Manager, Senior Carers, Carers, the Receptionist and the Handyman all went above and beyond to
make my Aunts final days as comfortable and peaceful as possible.
They were genuinely caring, kind people and I couldn't have asked for better care.
The building is in need of some refurbishment, but the care and the food were excellent.
I was genuinely impressed with the support and compassion shown to both my Aunt and myself and I can't thank you all enough x
