Overall Experience

Excellent care home, staff very caring, food excellent, clean and tidy. Entertainment nearly every day for all residents. My father enjoys being here.

Overall Experience

Last 2 weekends' entertainment was very good and stimulating for Mum. Everyone gets together. Really friendly staff, including family members, with open arms. All staff so caring towards all residents. In time, Mum will become settled and happy. I am sure she is in the best place

Overall Experience

Every time I visit I am made to feel welcome and am always pleased with the way the staff respond to residents. There is always a warm, friendly atmosphere in Holmewood. My wife had to go into Holmewood because I could not keep her safe, and I am so very grateful to Holmewood for taking care of her

for me. I cannot thank the staff there enough for the care she has received. And I know that she is safe and cannot hurt herself or anyone else. Thank you.

Overall Experience

The carers are very responsive, competent, knowledgeable about my conditions and caring and compassionate.
Despite often working under pressure they are always amendable, positive and cheerful.
All of these comments apply to the entire team including nursing staff, carers, cleaners and management.

Overall Experience

I am incredibly relieved to have found Burton Closes Hall which is a lovely safe environment for my mother. The care is excellent and my mother, who was anxious and reluctant about moving into the home has settled in happily. Her care has been the most important concern for myself and my brother for

several years. Despite her poor health, the support she has received has seen her improving in her sense of wellbeing.
It's hugely reassuring to know that she is settled and cared for.

Overall Experience

Overall, this is a good care home. The staff are friendly and caring, but are often rushed - especially at bedtime.

I have found the care home a welcoming and friendly environment. The staff have been supportive of my dad as a resident and also us as a family. Overall Experience

Very happy here. The day we arrived, another resident said to us 'he'll be happy here," and she was right. Entertainment very good, and everyone included regardless of ability. Doesn't complain about the food, and he's a fussy eater. Lots of lovely cake!! The staff inspire confidence. Very attentive

to the needs of the residents.

Overall Experience

My mum has found it hard to adapt to moving into a care home but due to her mobility issues she could no longer live alone. Slowly she is accepting that she needs alot of help and support and now is taking more of a role in the home by making friends and becoming more involved.

VE Day Celebrations.
Singer was ok, which the residents liked. We were encouraged to join in (as usual), we didn't feel pressured and enjoyed every minute.
I like that all the staff joined in and dressed up for the occasion.

We came down for our cousins funeral. Our cousin was a resident here before she passed away and shared a room with our Auntie, her mum. We've been to this place before to visit too, the staff are fantastic, so good with the residents, even if the resident is having one of these days the staff can

bring them back to the time and place. There food is good here too, with a few choices.
My Auntie has settled in her room on her own now, and the staff look after them so well.
