Overall, this is a good care home. The staff are friendly and caring, but are often rushed - especially at bedtime.
The one thing that lets this home down is the food.

I have found the care home a welcoming and friendly environment. The staff have been supportive of my dad as a resident and also us as a family. The care home has taken the time to get to know my dad and this has enabled him to settle into his new environment. Staff take the time to run activities and
keep residents stimulated and interested.

Very happy here. The day we arrived, another resident said to us 'he'll be happy here," and she was right. Entertainment very good, and everyone included regardless of ability. Doesn't complain about the food, and he's a fussy eater. Lots of lovely cake!! The staff inspire confidence. Very attentive
to the needs of the residents.

My mum has found it hard to adapt to moving into a care home but due to her mobility issues she could no longer live alone. Slowly she is accepting that she needs alot of help and support and now is taking more of a role in the home by making friends and becoming more involved.

VE Day Celebrations.
Singer was ok, which the residents liked. We were encouraged to join in (as usual), we didn't feel pressured and enjoyed every minute.
I like that all the staff joined in and dressed up for the occasion.
Always a pleasure to visit.

I was invited to attend VE Day party which was excellent. Quite a few residents and guests were persuaded to take to the floor and dance the afternoon away. The music was provided by a solo singer (didn't get his name) and everyone joined in with his selection of songs. The refreshments were excellent,
especially the cupcakes.

We came down for our cousins funeral. Our cousin was a resident here before she passed away and shared a room with our Auntie, her mum. We've been to this place before to visit too, the staff are fantastic, so good with the residents, even if the resident is having one of these days the staff can
bring them back to the time and place. There food is good here too, with a few choices.
My Auntie has settled in her room on her own now, and the staff look after them so well.

My dad was admitted to Burton Closes 3 weeks ago and has settled in surprisingly well - considering he is a very private and introverted man. The staff are lovely and seem to actively make the effort to engage with him to help him to feel settled and at home. He enjoys the food, is very happy with his
room and appreciates the ability to be able to sit out in the lovely courtyard area. My sisters and I feel the decision to have him here was definitely the right thing for him.

Had a warm welcome from the start, very friendly staff. They have much patience and understanding for my husband. Burton Closes is set in a beautiful area which means a lot, would recommend. Some room are ready for refurbishment which staff mentioned and hopefully this will take place.

I attended a weekly baby group here today where the residents and children spent time together which I believe is a great service and beneficial for all involved and amazing staff very attentive to all residence and visitors all residents appeared happy and engaged well with all what a beautiful home!

I feel very nice here and the staff are doing an amazing job. I like the food and activities are very relevant. My room is very clean thank you so much. Activity lady is going amazing job. Loving painting and arts and crafts session involving making a memory tree. I really enjoyed this activity.

This was short term emergency respite care, I have always been apprehensive about using this service, however, it surpassed my expectations. The allocated room was nicely furnished with its own toilet and sink and very clean. I found the management and staff to be very friendly, kind, caring and courteous
to both myself and my mum.
I cannot thank the Manager and her team enough for the kindness they have shown to mum.
The only improvement I could suggest would be intermittent air fresheners strategically placed.
