My parents have been residents at Richmond Manor for a few years and they have always been treated very well. Now that my father's condition is deteriorating I was able to see the exceptional level of care provided by all levels of staff including the manager during a recent health incident.
I can
recommend Richmond Manor to anyone who is looking for the highest level of care for their relatives.

My Father was discharged from hospital to Elstow Manor Care Home 4 weeks ago. The Relations Manager was efficient, which make the move into the home seamless. She was also very sympathetic as my Dad wife had just passed away. In that time Dad has been in Elstow Manor, the care he has received has been
superb. He is now eating more, and very slowly gaining strength. The staff are always willing to help and are approachable when Dad needs something - for example drinks or food. The environment of the home is lovely and has a very calm feel to it.
Reply from Val Foley, Customer Relations Manager at Elstow Manor Care HomeThank you for taking the time to leave us a review at a difficult time for your dad and family . We are grateful that you can see how much the whole team work together to make the experience enjoyable and caring . The outstanding care and dedication of our team is something we strive hard to achieve and we wish all the people who live here to keep happy and contented .. Thank you again

more mobile soon.

My mother was discharged from hospital at short notice but was unable to return home immediately. We needed some residential respite urgently. Val and the Team at Elstow were amazing, within 24 hours they had visited and assessed mum in hospital and arranged for her transfer to the home. Quite an
amazing task for which we will forever be grateful. The Home is quite stunning with all the staff doing everything possible to make the stay as comfortable as is possible. At all times I felt my mum was safe and very well looked after.

We visited a friend staying at the home after a time in hospital and we were really impressed with the friendliness of all the staff and the welcome they gave us and their caring nature towards her. It is a big home and she hadn't been there very long but as we walked with her to the café any staff
we came across seemed to know her name and say hello to her.
There was a lovely atmosphere and some really personal touches we thought to make the residents feel at home. We were grateful for the time that was taken to answer some of our questions as we were learning more about the home and we also saw some residents enjoying a fun group activity whilst we were there. We are pleased that our friend can be in this home to recover and rehabilitate.
Reply from Val Foley, Customer Relations Manager at Elstow Manor Care HomeWe are so grateful for your lovely review . My mother, who has dementia, was admitted for 6 weeks respite care after being discharged from hospital following a fall. From the start, the Customer Relations Manager was amazing ensuring her move was quick and easy and kept me informed throughout.

The whole team at Elstow are incredibly welcoming

My husband who has Lewy Body Dementia stayed here for 3 weeks in August/September and I stayed for 2 weeks in September whilst recovering from a hip replacement operation. We were on separate floors but able to share some meals together. The staff were exceptionally patient with my husband dealing
with his confusion and unwillingness to cooperate even with the most basic routines. So much so that he settled well after a period and became quite content

For myself the 2 weeks convalescence was perfect. I was discharged after 2 days in hospital and it was the best thing for my recovery. The care I received was first class especially help with washing and showering, medication and the choice of meals to tempt my appetite and of course the adjustable bed. Coupled with regular walks around the gardens and daily activities it helped me to regain my strength. I couldn't have wished for better care and will certainly be using the home for respite in the future

After falling and fracturing my pelvis I spent 10 days in hospital. On my discharge I chose to complete my recovery in Caddington Grove. I was in quite a bad place when I arrived but after 5 weeks I was fully independent and almost back to normal.
I cannot praise the care I received enough. Every
aspect was exceptional. My room, the food, the laundry and daily activity program. But most of all 'the staff'. I will always be grateful for their kindness and willingness to help me.
