I required respite care for Mum who lives with Dementia. Having looked at local homes I chose Dorking Manor. The home is beautiful and the staff gave me great confidence in looking after Mum. She had a great stay and we will be returning again soon.

I would highly recommend "Hindhead Place".

I had a serious injury to my left which was placed in a plaster cast. This prevented me from returning home as I couldn't negotiate all the steps in my house. The care home manager visited and gave me a very thorough briefing. The home managed to offer me a room for 2 weeks. The home is absolutely impressive. So clean and well designed with amazing staff from the manager to the lovely carers who treated me with respect and care. I was so lucky to be there. I was given a room which opened out to the gardens and was close to the lounge. The air conditioning was a blessing. The home is like a top hotel!

Knowing that a loved one is being cared for in such a fantastic environment brings real peace of mind. I would wholeheartedly recommend this care home to anyone

Wonderful place that really is dad's home. His personalised room with his own things and some of his favourite plants in the garden, along with wonderful staff has made Dorking Manor his home. It is located in a beautiful building and has extensive gardens. Staff are very caring and see residents as individuals making an effort to really know them. Its a lovely environment for families and friends to visit especially with the private dining room to entertain other visitors in. Staff keep me well informed of dads health. Dad is safe and cared for well which is so reassuring.

We placed Dad in Hindhead and were immediately struck by the helpful and professional approach of the staff in what was quite a change of environment for Dad. The homemakers very quickly established a rapport with Dad, and he quickly relaxed into his new surroundings and way of life. He is very happy, making new friends and generally enjoying life. Can't thank the staff at Hindhead Place enough.

My mother moved to the Charrington Care home almost 3 years ago. She settled in so well and really loved all the care staff, they were like family and friends to her. She loved the activities, music and the day trips. She was treated with care, dignity and respect throughout her time at the Charrington and as her condition became worse the staff tended to her changing needs with that same dignity and respect. My mother passed away more recently where the team continued with their excellent care and supported us as a family in the most respectful way. I dont think we could have faulted anything throughout my mums stay. Fabulous staff and caring management team - absolutely first rate!

My mum recently spent two weeks in respite care at Dorking Manor Care Home and it was such a positive experience for her. From the moment she arrived, she felt comfortable and at ease thanks to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The facilities and décor throughout the home are truly beautiful and thoughtfully designed, spotlessly clean, and inviting, which made her stay even more pleasant. The staff were exceptional, always attentive, kind, and patient, making sure she was well looked after at all times. My mum particularly enjoyed participating in the various activities organised throughout her stay, which offered her both stimulation and enjoyment. Overall, the care home provided excellent support, and my mum left feeling refreshed and happy. I would not hesitate to recommend this care home for anyone considering respite care for their loved ones.

We had to find a care home quickly due to a family bereavement. Dorking Manor came to our aid very quickly and placed Mum within a couple of days. The staff have done everything they can to make the transition as smooth and comfortable as possible.

Mum finds the home unique. Staff are excellent. Mum is very happy here. A lovely setting, nice and modern. The medical attention is very focused and good. Mum cannot wait to get outside into the garden and sit on her balcony.

My mother has been living at Charrington Manor for almost 2 years now. She went there initially for a month's respite care and wanted to stay. We live abroad and it is a great comfort for us to know our Mum is being so well cared for. The staff are absolutely wonderful! Charrington Manor is a warm and happy place. We visit regularly and always see each and every resident being treated with kindness, patience and respect. Mum is comfortable and content and says she feels loved by everyone and very lucky to be living there.

My father has been resident here for 3 years and is so happy and very much at home with the great team of professional care staff and other residents. It is such a well led and responsive care home with a full range of activities, fabulous accommodation and excellent food.
