My partner's father has recently moved to Hindhead Place. From the moment we made contact as a first enquiry, we have been shown care, support and professionalism. The whole registration process, through to move in day was seamless and described in detail.
Our family have visited regularly and have
been made to feel welcome always. The staff are friendly and create a lovely home environment.

We had to find a care home quickly due to a family bereavement. Dorking Manor came to our aid very quickly and placed Mum within a couple of days. The staff have done everything they can to make the transition as smooth and comfortable as possible.

Mum finds the home unique. Staff are excellent. Mum is very happy here. A lovely setting, nice and modern. The medical attention is very focused and good. Mum cannot wait to get outside into the garden and sit on her balcony.

My mother had a lovely experience. It was great respite - we were reassured that she was in very good hands. Beautiful room at the home, with amazing facilities, excellent staff and management. Would definitely use this wonderful home again.

My mother has been living at Charrington Manor for almost 2 years now. She went there initially for a month's respite care and wanted to stay. We live abroad and it is a great comfort for us to know our Mum is being so well cared for. The staff are absolutely wonderful! Charrington Manor is a warm and
happy place. We visit regularly and always see each and every resident being treated with kindness, patience and respect. Mum is comfortable and content and says she feels loved by everyone and very lucky to be living there.

The overall care for the people who are supported at Charrington Manor is exceptionally good.
My father has been resident here for 3 years and is so happy and very much at home with the great team of professional care staff and other residents. It is such a well led and responsive care home with a

Our mum has been at Charrington Manor since June 2022, and as a family we are very happy with the care she receives.
The staff are kind, caring, and treat her with real dignity and respect, which gives us great peace of mind. The activities are wonderful, especially the dancing sessions and visiting
performers - they bring so much joy and create such a lovely atmosphere in the home.
We're truly grateful to the whole team for everything they do to keep Mum happy and well cared for.

This is an outstanding care home, with superb accommodation and friendly and caring staff creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
We have been so impressed with every aspect of the service.
For dementia patients, feeling safe, secure, and able to relax is paramount .
Dorking Manor is in a class of

My father lived at Charrington Manor for over three years. He passed away there earlier this year at age 91. The team provided excellent care and were sensitive to his needs. My dad was a private person and preferred his own company, so didn't get involved in the many facilities, activities, and events
offered. For anyone more gregarious, I'm sure Charrington would easily meet all their social and activity needs. During his time there, Dad moved from a ground floor room with garden access to a quieter, cosier second-floor room, which he preferred. Despite his love of solitude, Dad was never ignored. As his health declined last year, the team was incredibly attentive to his needs, and showed great care and compassion to my sister and me too. I miss visiting Charrington - it's a beautiful place, and the team are truly special, particularly when you need them most. Moving Dad into residential care was a difficult decision for us but choosing Charrington Manor was definitely a great one.

I was lucky enough to spend a 3 week respite stay at Dorking Manor. It is a lovely care home, beautifully appointed with a homely yet swanky feel about it. All staff that I encountered were kind, friendly and very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for anyone. I immediately felt at home and
happy there. The food was superb, plentiful and there was excellent choice. I particularly like the spa bathroom and my family and friends who visited loved the bistro and the cinema room. Would happily return for future respite.

Mum was a resident at Charrington Manor for just over 2 years. She was a very anxious and agitated Alzheimer's sufferer and could be quite challenging at times. Throughout her time at the Home she was always treated with great care and respect.
Mealtimes were a constant anxiety for Mum but the
Home discussed with us how to make this easier and adopted measures to help (very small serving on a large plate, distractions, a quiet space away from others' looking' etc).
The staff all took the time to get to know and understand Mum and this made a real difference to her. This past year Mum became more frail and needed nursing care which, again, was given with dignity and kindness. Communication has always been good (with all staff and management alike) but during this time it was exemplary. Mum passed away in October and the staff made this time much easier for us all.
In March this year Dad also became unwell and needed care. We didn't hesitate to choose Charrington as his new home.

I am a friend of a resident at hindhead place , I've been visiting since September 2025.
The home is beautifully kept, very clean , bright and welcoming . The staff are all very friendly and caring and very approachable.
Residents all appear very happy , and very well cared for .
Lots of activities
and constant supervision by staff members .

My father is very well looked after and the Staff are very kind and patient with him.
The home also provides a happy and friendly environment for my mother who visits my father each day which has made the loss of not having him at home much easier.
