Nan was a resident at Cambridge Grove and absolutely loved every minute she spent there. She always said how friendly the staff were and how much opportunity she had to join in with activities. She loved going down to the cinema with some of her friends from her floor and watching different movies every
week. Nan really enjoyed the food and like how she was given different options and could request things given enough time. We also celebrated her birthday in their private dining room and the person who looked after us down there was brilliant. We were welcomed with flowers and a card from the heads of department and Nan had a lovely send off with many staff saying goodbye. Overall our experience at Cambridge Grove was amazing and I'd definitely recommend to anyone looking for somewhere for their loved one to stay
Reply from Amy Milburn, Home Ambassador at Cambridge Grove Care HomeThank you for your wonderful comments and feedback. We absolutely loved having your Nan as part of our Cambridge Grove family and miss the fun times we were lucky enough to share with her and all of the family.

Cambridge Grove is certainly not your average Care Home! The building and grounds are modern and clean, the staff are all friendly and welcoming, the residents are offered lots of activities to keep them busy and entertained, the food is great and the care exemplary.
My mum moved into Cambridge Grove
mid 2025 after initially staying for respite. We knew after her respite stay that there was nowhere else that we would want her to be! She has benefitted so much from the social interaction from staff and other residents and it is such a relief to know that she is safe, well fed and cared for so well by the staff.
We visit regularly and are always made to feel welcome - it's become like a home from home for us too. My children love to visit their Grandma and are always spoilt with lots of attention from the staff and residents too. It's a great place to be able to carry on making happy memories together as a family.
Reply from Amy Milburn, Home Ambassador at Cambridge Grove Care HomeThank you for your review. Your kind words about our team and the care provided are greatly appreciated. We're passionate about making Cambridge Grove feel like home for everyone and we're so pleased to hear you feel that way, too.
We love having your children visit too - they have built a fabulous rapport with other residents on Mum's Suite and we thoroughly enjoy watching their bond with their Grandma.
Thank you again for your trust and support-it's a privilege to care for your mum and to be part of your family's journey.

We cannot thank the staff enough for the wonderful care they give to my mum. From the moment she arrived, everyone has been kind, patient, and incredibly supportive. The team go above and beyond to make residents feel comfortable, respected, and valued.
The facilities are first class - always clean,
welcoming, and thoughtfully designed so residents feel at home. It's clear that a lot of care and attention goes into creating such a warm environment.
We have complete peace of mind knowing that Mum is safe, happy, and well looked after. The staff truly treat the residents with dignity and compassion, and it means the world to our family.
Reply from Amy Milburn, Home Ambassador at Cambridge Grove Care HomeThank you for your lovely comments. From the time my in-laws came to live at the home together in June 2023 I have found the care and support of staff to be of a good standard.
In march 2025 my mother in law passed away suddenly at the home. The comfort and compassion for us as a family and in particularly my father in law was so kind
and thoughtful and continues to be so now.
Reply from Paula Yorkston-Toy, Home Manager at Montague House Care HomeThank you for sharing your feedback. Please do let me know if there is anything we can do to support you all.

My husband has been a resident of Montague House since October 2023 . He has good care throughout this time. The carers and nurses don't change a lot and know him and his needs very well, helping him to be calm and accept necessary care.
When there are events on in the home like the Christmas party
and craft fair couple of Saturdays back there was so many residents and relatives there ..all enjoying ourselves and the staff who were working on the areas where people were not able to join the party they worked well together and ensured at the right time residents like my husband were taken back upstairs for necessary care.
Today my husband and another resident were taken to the dementia choir which they used to belong to for the rehearsal of tomorrow s concert, this was a special occasion so thanks again to all of you that made this possible, especially the well-being lead and staff working today.so thank you all x
Reply from Paula Yorkston-Toy, Home Manager at Montague House Care HomeThank you so much for taking the time to share your lovely feedback, it means a great deal to our carers and nurses to know that their consistency and understanding has helped him feel well cared for and comfortable. We will make sure your thanks are passed on to the well-being lead and the staff who supported the visit.

My daughter's mother in law, who is also my very good friend, has recently needed to become a resident, due to health deterioration. We have all been made so very welcome. The home is bright and cheerful and the staff smiley and happy. A lovely environment that is a pleasure to visit. The staff go the
extra mile and nothing is too much trouble. They even allowed us to host our grandsons 4th birthday party in the family room so that my friend could be there. We have also had a birthday meal in the private dining room. Thanks to the team.

My Dad became a resident of Montague nursing home in June 2025, and sadly died there in October 2025. However, during his time there - he had the very best of genuine care from all the staff, who seemed to go above and beyond. Within 6 weeks he had put on nearly 7 kg (having lost a lot of weight whilst
in hospital), with their delicious food. One lunchtime I paid him a visit, to see him sitting amongst some farm animals when they visited Montague - and what a giggle we had!!! He became known for trying to pinch contraban (cakes and biscuits), when in the communal area, but was thwarted by the staff who quickly got to know his tricks. When he became ill at the beginning of September, I was made as welcome as my Dad, and was able to carry out my full-time job, whilst being by his side. Although the end was sad, the care was genuine from the manager through to the daily staff. If I could give Montague 15/10 and 10 stars out of 5, I would!

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to all the team at Montague House, Brampton for the amazing care and love my mum received during her time there. My mum sadly passed away recently after nearly 3 years of her staying at Montague House on the dementia floor, all I can say is that the staff were
amazing and so caring. The nurses on the ward were all a great support to me during the last very difficult 10 days of mum's life, they made sure that I understood what was happening and offered me their time and comfort when I really needed it. Paula the manager was so kind and understanding and I cannot speak highly enough of the way the care home is run.

A superb residential home.
My mother moved in as a resident in July following a respite trial period which she thoroughly enjoyed and continues to do so with her spacious room with garden views, good food on offer and convivial company.
The management and staff are caring, supportive and respectful.
wide range of activities are provided daily to engage with the differing interests of the residents as well as various trips out to venues such as museums, garden centres, with coastal visits in the summer. It's been a pleasure to get to know other relatives as well.
My mother chose to host her 96th birthday celebration for the family at CG for which the chef provided excellent party food and cakes for us in one of the spacious lounges beautifully decorated for the event.
Reply from Amy Milburn, Home Ambassador at Cambridge Grove Care HomeThank you so much for your wonderful review. We absolutely love having you all as part of our Cambridge Grove family. My best friend's mother has recently been admitted to Cambridge Grove and we are all very impressed. The home is calm, peaceful yet still offers a huge variety of activities for the residents to do. I have visited the home and have been overwhelmed by the friendliness of staff and atmosphere of the
home. They have extensive gardens, too, which I'm sure will be utilised in warmer weather!
Reply from Amy Milburn, Home Ambassador at Cambridge Grove Care HomeThank you for your lovely comments. It's great to know friends of our residents can see the positive atmosphere in our home, as well as close relatives. We will definitely be out in the garden more when the weather improves, but some dedicated residents have braved the cool weather over the last few days to plant daffodil bulbs ready for the spring! We look forward to seeing you again, soon.

My mother has really settled into the Grove since coming, firstly on respite care then becoming a resident. . The building itself allows lots of natural light in, which is uplifting. There is a pleasant garden to walk or sit in. The staff are so lovely and caring and go over and above at times. The
activities are interesting ones and really enjoyable. The staff are very good at helping residents mingle with like minded people. The food is also delicious and nutritious and we can join mum in the dining room at times too...
This is no ordinary care home.
Thank you for helping my mum feel 'at home and cared for' ..

we moved our mum into the grove residential care home in September of this year and it wasn't an ideal time for her due to the recent loss of her partner and moving from her home she shared with her partner of 26 years so we had a lot of emotions to deal with .
The Grove has been brilliant and the
overall picture for us is of a home that is an amazing 5 star residential care home that have been so caring and kind to our mother .
Management are great and everyone on the whole team are kind and caring .
Residential care homes are not ideal for lots of the residents that stay there for all sorts of reasons but The Grove is very good in our opinion and i would have absolutely no hesitation in recommend it to others in a similar situation to us .
Well done The Grove !!!

My father absolutely loved The Grove! The staff are so helpful and attentive, nothing seems too much trouble. As a son, living 300 miles away, I have been confident he was cared for.
