My gran was in your care for 2 year 11 months. She first came in and we didn't think she had long left at the time . But all the staff cared for her fed her and made certain she had drinks . She was only on special yoghurt but she kept going. I really can't thank the staff enough for caring for my
gran right up until she passed this week .including holding her hand and being with her right at the very end . And then looking after myself to .not only do they care about the residents they care about the family to .
Once again forever greatful .

My aunt + uncle moved into Wainfleet Care Home in Oct 2025. They have received the most amazing care and affection especially after my aunt passed away in December 2025. I'd like to especially mention the carer - Daniel - who accompanied my uncle to the funeral. It was his day off and he purchased a
suit to wear for the day. His care for my uncle that day was so kind, personal and thoughtful. Thank you.
Reply from Sirajali Panjwani, Director at Wainfleet Care HomeThank you so much for sharing such a heartfelt message. We are truly grateful for your kind words.
It has been a privilege to care for both your aunt and uncle since their arrival in October. We were deeply saddened by your aunt's passing, and our team has held your family in our thoughts throughout this difficult time. Knowing that your uncle has felt supported and cared for means a great deal to us.
Your special mention of Daniel is incredibly touching. His decision to accompany your uncle on his day off, and even purchase a suit for the occasion, reflects the genuine compassion and dedication he brings to his role. We will make sure he knows how much his kindness meant to you and your family.
Thank you again for taking the time to share your experience. Your words remind us why we do what we do every day.

Over the past 2-3 months your staff provided excellent care to my mum who was admitted with several severe pressure sores. Your staff did an amazing job and successfully treated them despite my mums severe infirmity. Sadly she passed away 3 weeks ago due to old age (90). Your staff were so loving to
my father who has been her partner for 71 years. I can't thank the carers and management. Even at the funeral several of your staff attended, including Daniel who provided exceptional emotional and caring support. The whole experience was an example to me of your devotion to residents. You have made a true home, from home. A big thank you!
Philip (Younger son)
My Dad is 91 and was admitted at the same time.
Reply from Sirajali Panjwani, Director at Wainfleet Care HomeThank you for taking the time to share such a heartfelt message. Your words mean more to our entire team than you can imagine.
It was a privilege to care for your mum over the past few months, and we are deeply saddened by her passing. She was a remarkable lady, and the love shared between your parents over their 71 years together was truly inspiring. We are honoured to have been part of her journey and to have supported your family during such a tender time.
Your appreciation for the care team, including Daniel, will be shared with them all. They will be touched to know their support made a difference to you and your father, both during her stay and at the funeral. Creating a true "home from home" is at the heart of what we strive for, and your message reassures us that we are living up to that commitment.
We continue to care for your dad with the same dedication and compassion, and we are here for him-and for you-every step of the way.

My mother is in this care home and is waiting to be moved to another home, Woodview care home is a disgrace her care over the last few months has been nothing short of disgusting, we have complained to the cpc who are finally taking some action against this home, recently when travelling to see my mother
we found a resident walking in the village about a mile away who had walked out without anyone noticing, do not trust this home with your loved ones.
Reply from SD, Director at Woodview Care HomeWe're truly sorry to hear of your disappointment and recognize how emotionally difficult this transition has been. We understand your concerns about your mother's relocation, especially given your close bond and daily visits. The decision was made with great care, in consultation with family and clinical professionals, and focused on her evolving needs and wellbeing. While we wish we could have continued caring for her, specialist support was necessary to ensure her safety and quality of life. We respectfully refute the claim that Woodview provided "disgusting" care. Our team consistently delivered compassionate, professional support, with clear documentation to reflect this. We empathize with the emotional toll of such changes, but misrepresenting our service undermines the dedication of our staff. We miss her presence-and yours-and hope she thrives in her new home. We send our warmest wishes for her continued comfort and happiness.

My husband and I visited our friend today at this lovely care home. As we walked into the reception area, we were greeted by a smiling friendly woman who showed us to his room. As we walked there I couldn't help but admire the pastel green walls and decor, creating a bright modern atmosphere. The rooms
were clean, tidy and nicely furnished with a tv, wardrobe, bedside table, chairs and pretty pictures on the wall. The window looked out to some greenery. We were shown around the building by the same member of staff who initially greeted us. The dining room was light, airy and spacious and wwere then led to the lounge where several residents were relaxing watching tv. They all turned to say hello. The sofas and armchairs looked comfortable. There was no odour in the building and everything smelt fresh and clean. We were even offered a cup of tea or coffee. I sensed a lot of love from the carers and I could tell how happy the residents there looked.

My mum has been at Woodview for the past four years, she has always had the best care and kindness from all the staff. I have always found all the staff helpful and nothing is too much trouble.
The cleanliness of the home is amazing and they are always given a good menu at meal times with good homecooked
food which my mum enjoys.
The care home has a good selection of activities going on each day either as a group or activities done on a one to one basis. My mum is happy at Woodview.

Kind and caring staff, always able to smile and show empathy even under pressure. The team are a variety of ages and characters that collectively work harmoniously together to provide a safe and worry-free home for the residents. The care home is warm, clean and comfortable. Nursing level is great.
Kindness is forthcoming from all staff members. Nowhere is perfect but we feel comfortable that our choice of care home was definitely correct for us, having visited and tried numerous others locally.

Since my partner arrived at the home the staff have been polite, courteous and professional in looking after my partner. I feel it is necessary to mention that the duties of care, which the staff are obligated to fulfil, are carried out with a sense of pride and affection towards the residents that
make their stay not only a comfortable one, but also provides a safe and secure environment where residents can relax and enjoy a friendly atmosphere. A carer's job role can be a stressful one where not enough credit is given to those who deserve it, especially when taking into consideration the long hours and dedication needed to fulfil the required duties of their positions. They do a wonderful job and should be proud of themselves for making a positive difference in the lives of those they serve.

Mum has been in Aspen Lodge since the beginning of July 2024. She asked my sister and I to look for a nursing/residential home for her, as she was no longer confident living alone due to falling over frequently and not being able to get up by herself. We rang a few homes in Skegness. We were lucky,
Aspen Lodge had a room coming up and saved it for us. Mum was in within 2 weeks! She hasn't looked back. Thanks to the manager and the wonderful staff she soon settled in. Nothing is too much trouble for them. She says now it is her home. It does have a lovely atmosphere and is always clean. We can visit whenever we want. Very happy with it.

Well, I have just spent my first Christmas here at this care home and it's the best Christmas I have ever had away from home. As far as I am concerned no residents should complain about anything for Christmas. It is well-staffed, I have been here now 5 months and it's never been understaffed day or
night. The manageress puts all residents first and so do all the other staff, it is like one big happy family here, nothing is to much for any of the staff, if you need anything from a shop a staff member will go for you and there are no agency careers here, they are never needed. It's a fantastic team of carers and staff, they have most certainly made me more than welcome, it's the best move that I have ever made, thanks to the manageress.

My sister required palliative care during the last few months of her life, I was led to believe this care home was good and provided good care. This was far from the truth. The home was very poor in every way from certain staff members and above meaning home manager. My sister was dying and received
the worst treatment. She was given food she couldn't eat and always on my visits was covered in food I had to ask for her bed to be changed as she was lying in food. At times we asked for her to receive help going to the toilet which was ignored. Then she was unable to move out of bed at all. As my sister got worse we asked for medication which she was denied and I was told she only needed paracetamol she wasn't in any pain! We saw how much pain my sister was in and on many occasions she asked me to take her out of this awful place. I would not use this care home it is disgusting and not fit for purpose and I can't believe CQC are letting this home stay open!
Reply from MT, A Manager at Woodview Care HomeAs there has been no record of a complaint and no evidence of the concerns raised with the placement being some time ago now. I would like to reassure you that your review will be shared with the team including the new manager and we are happy to discuss this personally with you. Please feel free to contact the care home.
