Very pleased with mum's care.
Mum very happy and content here.
All the care given is 100% with consideration for mum's needs. The office staff even give mum 100% care that she needs from doctors, appointments, etc...
We visit regularly at all times and cannot fault anything.

It's a home from home, nothing is too much trouble. The staff are very friendly. All my mum's care needs are met, and I have never had any cause for concern since my mum has been cared for here. My mum is happy here, so I am happy. I have no concerns or think anything could be done better.

The home is just like going into someone's own home, but just on a larger scale. My mother in law has been here for nearly 6 years, and during that time, we have had little cause to complain. The only time we did complain, it was treated promptly with great professionalism. My mother in law has been
very happy throughout her stay and says she feels very lucky to be so well looked after. We always come away from our visits with great peace of mind knowing she is content and very well looked after. I feel that as families we feel part of the Ladydale family as a whole.

My mum has been very well cared for at Ladydale. She has nothing but praise for the staff and the help and support they give. Staff are friendly and helpful if I have any concerns. Managmeent are progerssing well with a comprehensive programme of upgrading the premisses including decorating, replacing
windows and chairs, etc. A comprehensive programme of activities is provideed and residents are encouraged to take part.

The care is very good, particularly in terms of monitoring the health of my mum and making modifications to the medicines. The entertainment/activities provided are very good and the residents seem to enjoy them. The staff are extremely friendly and caring even in challenging circumstances. I do think
that some of the pastoral care is lacking. Ensuring teeth are cleaned, hair brushed, nails cut are examples I have noticed.

Mum gets the best care possible. The staff are always smiling and happy and nothing is too much trouble. If you need to contact the home their is always someone ready to help at the end of the phone. Mum is kept clean and warm and in her words safe. The meals are amazing with a menu to choose from everyday.
Activities are always available if you wish to join in. My sister and I couldn't be happier with care she gets from management and all the carers. Thank you.

As a family a care home was last resort for my grandfather as we really wanted to avoid it, my only regret is that we didn't find this home sooner! He is the happiest we've ever seen him, and every time we visit we leave with a big smile on our faces! The staff are absolutely amazing & the care home
just feels like one big family

Mum has been at Spratslade House since February. My sister and I liked the feel from our first visit. The staff are all warm and friendly, and the care is second to none. Mum has settled well, and although it's an old building, so not perfectly laid out, it's always clean and tidy. The activities are
well thought out, and very inclusive. The food is good, and plentiful.
It has been a relief to know Mum is safe and happy, and she loves the carers. If she can't live at home, this is definitely the next best thing.

When my dad came to the home he had previously spent 10 weeks in hospital, he was underweight, withdrawn and hardly able to stand let alone walk, with the care and patience of this amazing home and its staff my dad has regained his life, he laughs, he walks, he gets up to mischief and has built not
only in strength but in his personality, this isn't just a care home it's a home that is always full of laughter. It's comfortable for the residents as well as their family, it's an amazing place and I feel we made the perfect choice for our loved one.. thank you to you all from the bottom of our hearts x

The Dales is an excellent home for adults with disabilities, they are well looked after and fully supported by the outstanding staff
My son has been residing there and during that time he has had access to opportunities and events that he did not previously have. The staff are all helpful and approachable
and they are happy to suggest clubs and activities that support his ongoing needs and they additionally encourage him in all aspects of his self-care, including washing and toileting as well as eating habits. They also host many events in-house to ensure all residents are regularly engaged and they undertake regular trips to bowling, trampolining, swimming and meals out, to name but a few.
He has truly been the happiest there that he has ever been and he loves socialising with other residents and staff alike helping out where he can.
I would not hesitate to recommend the Dales to anyone looking for a residential option for their family, it scores 10 out of 10 for us.

My mother is currently a resident at Ladydale and she loves it there. The care is second to none. The carers actually care for their residents and go out of their way to ensure the residents are receiving plenty of fluids and have lots of mental stimulation and activities. The food is excellent and
locally sourced. There is a cat lives at the home too and he has the most wonderful life too! I have no hesitation in recommending Ladydale to anyone looking at care homes in the area.

My Mum has been a resident for well over a year now and I can't fault the care she receives. I love the fact that I'm able to discuss her care plan and am always informed of any changes. It's nice to feel included but it's even nicer to know that I no longer need to worry because all her needs are being
met.
She has a lovely room which is personalized with some of her own possessions and bits of furniture. It was lovely to be included in the choices for decor. I can't thank the manager enough! The menu is excellent and the food is very tasty. There are regular activities and entertainment which my Mum loves. She gets her hair done once a week and her nails. These are things that were always important to her and she loves a pamper so thank you on her behalf.
I did a lot of research before choosing Spratslade and I am not disappointed with my choice. The manager and all the staff are wonderful, friendly and approachable. I couldn't ask for more. Thank you.

My mother was admitted to Spratslade Hoyse on 18/10/2022 after being in the hospital. She is 105 years old, and right away, she was made welcome. It took a while to settle in, but now she absolutely loves it. The staff are really lovely and caring. Nothing is too much trouble. Always cheerful. When
visiting, they meet you at the door, always know your name and who you are visiting, escort you to where my mother is and asks if you want a drink. Could not be more helpful.

My dad receives the best care possible. The carers couldn't do any more for him, they are very supportive to our family too. Dad is well fed, well looked after and the carers are worth their weight in gold, they really should be paid more for the jobs that they do.

My mother was in Ladydale with Dementia from 2020 till October 22. Mum took a while to settle in as she came from Cornwall during covid and away from her family, the staff were very friendly and patient with her even though at times she was very trying.
After mum had her stroke and needed palliative
care Ladydale agreed to take her back until she died. The care they gave my mum until the very end was second to none and treated her with the utmost dignity, and we as a family can not thank them enough.

Mum was not at all sure about having to move to a care home but resigned to the fact that she was struggling at home. We looked at a number of care homes locally and were most impressed by our initial visit to Ladydale. The rooms were larger than some we had looked at, and the day rooms for the residents
were light warm and airy with the choice of a large quiet room for residents wishing for a bit of peace. All the staff we have dealt with have been professional, caring and of good humour. Mum has settled in well and partakes in a number of the many activities that are on offer and has plenty of folk to have a natter with. It's been a huge relief that we've been able to get mum into a warm safe and happy environment where she's been well-fed and is having her needs tended to. Thank you.
