We are incredibly pleased with the service they provide and would highly recommend this care home to anyone seeking care for a family member.

Well staffed, staff are attentive to the clients, activities are offered for those who want them; the flats are very good quality, staff seem to be patient with the clients; the whole building is kept very clean, visitors are made welcome.

Knowing she is well cared for and happy means the world to her family, and I think the move has given her a new lease of life

So far the care is very good and he seems to like the food we won't be able to visit as often sad we have because my son and daughter have to go back to work but will as often as possible but are sure he will be well cared for

My mother-in-law has only lived in Manor House for 4 months but wow what an amazing care home. She is like a new person. She's always clean and tidy and her room is kept beautiful. She has gained weight due to the variety of fresh-cooked meals and wow what a variety. The activity lady is amazing and caters for everyone's needs and they hold events we can all attend. The management is brilliant and nothing is too much trouble for them. All I can say is thank you, it's like a big happy family.

I Came to visit my friend, I was shown into the lounge which is lovely, all the staff were friendly and offered me tea and biscuits. Its the best home I've ever looked at/ visited. If I lived in this area I could certainly settle there myself. I really like the set up, if you want to stop in your flat all day you can or socialise with the other residents.

Staff - on the whole great, BUT different staff members tell you how to do things, and other staff say opposite.

The atmosphere at Manor House is homely and welcoming. Mom has Alzeimers and has has lived there happily for 15 months. She is always washed, dressed and cared for when I visit and her flat is clean and tidy. The staff are always pleasant, patient and helpful and have a good understanding of her condition. Management are easy to speak to, keep me well informed, and let me know promptly if there are any changes to her condition. The choice of food is good, and the staff have been very good at encouraging Mom to eat as she is a very fussy eater. There are lots of activities for the residents and they are encouraged to take part, or they can just sit and watch. There are also frequent events and celebrations where all the family can attend and join in.

My husband came to Lucton House with Alzheimer's and following a couple of falls at home. We have found the carers here to be very considerate of his care and safety around the home. Food is varied, appetising and cooked in the premises. Various activities are well-planned and many residents seem to find these enjoyable. Importantly, staff and management are very approachable and welcoming - many thanks.

My mother has been living at Lucton House for 16 months now. This month she celebrated her 90th birthday. The staff team all worked hard to give her a lovely surprise party afternoon which she thoroughly enjoyed. Since being at Lucton house Mom has started to do hobbies she had given up and is now an active member of the knit and natter club which has been recently formed. Overall Mom is happy and content and is able to voice her opinions at the residents meetings that are held.

Mom spent 3 months at Manor House before passing away, during which time she received excellent care from the moment she arrived. Everyone was welcoming, the staff all gel together to create a relaxed, happy and friendly environment. Mom's medical needs were met promptly and professionally with no delay in sending for doctors and nurses, etc. Plenty of activities and events, which staff work hard to include everyone. Residents are kept spotless along with the home itself. Giving up independence for a care home is incredibly difficult, but I would not hesitate in recommending Manor House and their amazing team.

My nan has been in Lucton House for a year now has been treated with care and dignity throughout. The staff support and care for her as well as my family. 100% recommend.

I chose to come to Lucton House for 2 weeks convalescence following abdominal surgery. My flatlet is light and bright with everything provided for a short stay as required. I've found it easy to chat with other residents, and the staff are all warm and supportive as I regain confidence to do tasks independently again. Initially I found the food a little disappointing as I had a poor appetite. However the manager was quickly responsive to my concerns and provided extras at my request. Overall, it has lived up to my expectations and been a really positive experience at a difficult time in my health journey.

We couldn't have found a better place for Mum to live.
