My husband has been a resident at Autumn Vale Care Centre for the past 15 months. In that time I have appreciated the time, patience and care all the staff have taken to get to know my husband and understand how best to look after him and meet his needs. I came to visit my dear friend. She was really happy. Her room was big and it had all her personal items in there. The staff were lovely and caring toward both my friend and me. I cannot thank them enough for taking care of her.

Overall Experience

Mum arrived 15 months ago in a non communicative state, unable to feed herself, dress herself or complete daily functions. Within a few months, this had started to come back due to the care, the sensitivity all the team have shown, along with patience, understanding and a true desire to do the very

best for her. I feel so happy and blessed that she is at Autumn Vale, as she is happy, safe, and cared for in the best possible way. So thank you to everyone.

Overall Experience

Husband has now settled in well. Such a lovely, caring place, the staff are so helpful and caring. Lofts of activities and has been on trips out, which he has really enjoyed. Feel he is being well looked after. Am able to ring and speak to his carer on the unit if I have any concerns.

My mother has been placed in Autumn Vale to be care assessed, this has been agreed and extended another 4 weeks. The care mum has received is extremely wonderful. Before mum came here, as a family, we were adamant on getting mum home, but now we are aware the care she needs is more complex. Our views

have changed due to the care mum has received from the home.

Staff are very hardworking. They are caring, kind and very attentive.

Friendly team. The team cares for mum. The room is light and clean. Mum likes the food, and there is plenty of it. The carers are very kind and paint mum's nails.

I am very happy with all the care Geoff receives. I would like to sit in Geoff's room with him to enjoy a quiet time with tea and biscuits, therefore, if there is another lounge chair available to place in his room. He likes to watch rugby, and that is coming up soon.

Overall Experience

Mum came to Queensway for respite following a nasty fall. Her mobility was compromised and had lost her confidence. The staff have been tremendous in helping her regain both. Her room was clean and fresh with a view into the garden. A sizeable wet room has helped her and her carers to aid her in recovery.

The corridors and communal areas are clean and airy. All the staff have a lovely attitude towards the residents. Our family would be happy for mum to return to Queensway if she ever needs more care.

Overall Experience

The care for all the residents is second to none. You are always met by a member of staff and made to feel very welcomed. There is always someone to talk to if you need to. The residents I have seen on my visits always appear well looked after, and if someone's bell goes off in their room, it is answered

immediately.

Overall Experience

Mum moved from residential care to Hatfield in July 25 as she required nursing care.
The manager at Hatfield was brilliant at expediting and organising the transfer and settling Mum in.
The manager and all the staff has shown nothing but kindness and consideration to mum during the 2 months she has

been there. I have total peace of mind that she is happy and looked after.

Overall Experience

Dad was first in the respite area of the home. When we were told he needed permanent care, we knew we wanted it to be at Heath Lodge. This was because of the fantastic care. The friendly carers and the overall feel of what we had experienced in the respite area, and now he is a permanent resident. The

fantastic care has continued. He had settled in better than we could of hoped. Always an activity he can get involved in, and the carers are superb. Thank you.

Overall Experience

From my experience of visiting my Nan I would advise people to completely avoid this care home. There was a distinct lack of care throughout from simple things like cleanliness to care for the patients. As soon as you walk in you are greeting with horrendous smells and grime throughout the building.

In terms of the care for my Nan I was far from impressed, clothes went missing and when asked we were greeted by nothing but excuses, her clothes that didn't go missing were a mess and just thrown at the bottom of her wardrobe without any care. She was eventally moved but during the move we noticed even things like her toe nails were not treated and had grown to disgunsting lengths that left us in shock. There was just no care provided and it was like she was just left to rot in her room. As far as the staff go there were some that tried but not enough of them did and there was even verbal abuse towards my Mum that left her feeling distrort, upset and overall unwelcome at the care home.
