I would like you to recognise the outstanding care my Dad has received from day one.

The day carers & staff are wonderful & any issues or concerns I have raised are always dealt wtih quickly & resolved and we are all informed how it has been resolved. I would especially like to mention how all carers, staff & cleaners take the time to chat with Dad. It means so much to him and to us as a family knowing that he is treated with kindness & day staff all take the time to make him feel valued. Any food requests are always met which is fabulous they can make that work with so many residents to accommodate.

My mum has been in here since february. Everyone we meet has always treated mum with kindness, respect, and the level of love and care she receives is Amazing. They all love her hug her and will go out of their way to make sure she is the happiest she can be. As a family we just wanted mum to be somewhere that she was loved and cared for as much as we did, and the staff have never faulted.

My family and I travelled from Lincoln, we arrived at the home to be welcomed by staff. All the staff were very polite, happy and helpful, all areas of the home were immaculate We had booked in for lunch and a table was set for us all in the front cafe. We all enjoyed a nutritious lunch. After lunch we went for a walk around the grounds which again were well maintained. All in all we are delighted with how mum has settled.

Thank you everyone!

Review of Peverel Green Care Home from Lesley M (Niece of Resident) published on 17 June 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

I am very happy to provide a very positive review of Peverel Green Care Home. My aunt has been a resident for just over a year and she sadly passed away this week. During the time that she was a resident, we always found the home clean and tidy, and the staff friendly and attentive. We have been impressed with the facilities and the activities provided for the residents which we know my aunt used to enjoy. In particular, for instance, we were able to celebrate birthdays in a private space at the home which we enjoyed. Most importantly, we feel that the care provided by the nursing staff was always provided with respect and consideration, and we always felt that my aunt was looked after with care and professionalism. We would certainly recommend this home as an excellent place to provide care for elderly residents.

Overall Experience

My experience at The New Deanery have not been to a care home before, soon as I wentie in all the staff made me welcome all very friendly and the residence I spoke to said they like the staff as they treat them all the same. It was nice to feel the atmosphere was nice and carmen. While I was there I did singing and exercise. I though it was very good I live on my own so it was good for me to talk. I was born in Dorset brought up in Shropshire, came to Essex as a nanny 60 years ago they love it.
