At home Mum was lonely, depressed and constantly wishing for death.
Within a few weeks of attending Sycamore Court she was smiling and laughing and thinking about later in the year.she looks forward to the daily activities. The staff are friendly and supportive and help her to feel loved and needed.
They support me as well. I no longer have to juggle all the plates. I know she is safe.

hard to imagine a better or well run nursing home than Sycomore Court Brighton. management and all staff so efficent and caring.place is spotlessy clean. my wife is very well looked after. nobody likes to go into a nursing home but this must rate as one of the best.

My brother seems very happy at Sycamore Court. The staff are very attentive and all his needs are met. Whilst at Sycamore Court, my brother was pleased to join me and other residents in the dining room, which is not something he normally does. The food was most acceptable, and the company was good,
this made for a very enjoyable lunch.

Partridge House is a wonderful care home.
All staff are so friendly and always go above and beyond to help with any issues.
Housekeeping make everything clean and hygienic, smells great to.
If I were to end up in a care home I would be more than happy to reside here.
The new management and team
have turned this home around in the last few years to be a wonderful place to live.

Having moved my elderly friend into the home at short notice, I cannot fault the staff who have all been caring, supportive and helpful. My friend looks so much better and cared for since moving into the home 3 weeks ago. Any issues I have raised are being dealt with promptly and efficiently. The food
is wonderful and we had table service!! I had a super lunch with my friend, will be booking to go again soon! The hairdresser did a wonderful job on my friend's hair and this will be a regular occurrence going forward. My friend's physical and mental health have improved considerably since she moved in and she always appears clean and well cared for when I visit.

My partner has been a resident for a considerable time. The management, nursing, care and housekeeping staff are first class . Every single person is professional and very kind. Nothing is too much trouble. My partner is very well cared for and as with all the residents treated with respect and
kindness. Attention is paid to personal care and hairdressers, chiropodists etc. visit regularly. The food served is varied and is of a high standard. The Activities team encourage all residents to participate in two sessions per day. I cannot think of one complaint.

Can't fault Sycamore Court on any aspect. My relative has been treated with enormous care, compassion and kindness from day one. I expecially like the way all the staff welcome visitors and it seems to me that nothing is ever too much trouble for them - whether it is offering me a cup of tea or going

I go to visit my brother-in-law annually when I return to the UK. He is getting some of the best treatment I have seen at this facility. The staff are very caring and attentive. They are always willing to help the clients there. The manager does a wonderful job as well as another particular staff member
does.

From the moment I visited Partridge House I knew it would be a home where my mother would be well taken care of. The carers are always smiling, happy and courteous, nothing is too much trouble for them to do. As a visitor, I have witnessed the close bond the carers have with the residents, always attentive,
kind and caring. The bright and colourful surroundings also provide stimulation with the colourful murals and large windows for the residents to gaze out onto the garden. 
My mother was reluctant to leave home for respite but the carers were able to put her at ease and made her feel at home, they were very understanding.
The manager has been brilliant at accommodating my requests for respite, sometimes at short notice. The regular breaks enable me to recharge my batteries. It's a great comfort to me to know she is receiving the best care at Partridge House.

My husband has been a resident at Sycamore Court for over a year now. He found it hard to settle at first but the carers and nurses have helped him a lot, and in particular, the activities staff have done their very best to include him whenever he wants to join in. At other times he is happy to watch
what is going on. I am impressed with the detailed records which are kept. It is very reassuring to be able to ask how he is when I visit, and to be given exact information about his day or night. Having been his carer myself for many years it is a great relief to see him being looked after so well now that I am no longer able to cope with his condition.

My mum was placed in Partridge House on a temporary basis (six weeks) following her Dementia care at the hospital.
Although this temporary placement was not appropriate for my mum’s needs, I have nothing but praise for the entire team at Partridge House for the care and dignity they showed towards
my mum, and for treating her as an individual.

I have found that Sycamore Court is really willing to listen to the resident and try to meet his/her needs as an individual. They also take time to speak with relatives. I have also found that they have a highly professional approach to personal care and general comfort while maintaining a gentle and
kind manner. My brother has the care he now needs and is not as anxious as before moving to Sycamore Court. I would recommend Sycamore Court to anyone looking for residential care for their loved one.

Very kind and caring staff. All friendly and will answer any questions you may have. Very clean and warm. The meals always look very good. Hot and well presented. The only fault I can find is my friend has no radio in his room, has a TV but it doesn't work. So yesterday he was just sitting alone in
his room. It made me sad. I know he does go upstairs for arts and crafts and looks at TV in main lounge and he always eats all his lunch when I'm there.

My husband has dementia and spent 2 weeks in Partridge House in order to give me time to recharge my batteries. The manager and her wonderful team of nursing staff and carers did a sterling job of caring for him. The interaction of the staff with the residents was very friendly as he was treated like
family which created an air of positivity. The staff are all very helpful and attentive not only to the residents but also to the needs of visitors. Meals were eaten with other residents and were taken on walks and encouraged to participate in activities that were offered. The home was clean and tidy. Thank you everyone for looking after him. There have been many changes since my mum moved into Partridge House over 5 years ago. In particular in relation to staff and change of ownership. A year ago there was a high turnover of agency staff which was far from ideal. Since then the new management has done a fantastic job in turning things around
and there is now a great team of permanent staff. Due to the wonderful care and attention Mum is receiving from the staff she is happier and more content than she has ever been since moving here which is a huge comfort to me. Mum's needs are being met and I am truly grateful for the loving care that she receives. The activities and social events that are organised throughout the year are great fun for both residents and visitors. The home is bright and spacious and once again it now has a happy and welcoming family atmosphere. I am so happy and lucky that my mum lives at Partridge House and would like to say a big thank you to all the staff for their care and hard work.
