The Team at Kent House, especially one member of staff, kept me informed of our relative's physical and mental health as he declined. Being 12,000 miles away, this constant interaction gave the whole family peace of mind - that our relative was in safe hands. When he passed, the whole team at Kent
House provided support and guidance through the very difficult & emotional period.

My sister came on Wednesday and was greeted warmly by the staff. The place is lively, with loads of activities to keep residents occupied. I wish she was moved here initially rather than moving pillar to post. the building is secure with a lovely garden, fantastic! No complaints. Room large, own toilet.
I don't know cost as she is here on respite but a great place to recover.

We only visit occasionally. The staff are amazingly welcoming, kind, and respectful. We have been in many homes and have to admit we were a bit disappointed in the lounge area, there is no opportunity to avoid the TV, our friend is used to quietude. Today, there was a smell. Maybe it could be cleaner
and a bit more attractive in bedrooms. No experience of food or activities, or value for money.

I am very happy with the care provided by the staff at Hillside Nursing Home. They are attentive, approachable and have a genuine sincerity in looking after the residents, one of whom is my father who has been at the home since 2022. The management have a hands-on approach and always greet visitors
with a smile. They make everyone feel welcome and I would not hesitate to recommend Hillside. I can honestly say that there has not been a single concern since my father arrived here and I am impressed with the homely environment.

My best friend has recently moved to a Care Home in another part of the country. So I just wanted to say a big thank you for all you have done for him during his time at Hillside over the last few years. You have shown great kindness when organising activities for him which he has always seemed to enjoy.
I know he had a particular soft spot for some members of staff and the empathy you have shown him since his illness has taken hold is very much appreciated !! Thank you again & best wishes to you all at Hillside. As soon as I hear the name of his new care home I will once again continue my visits.

The staff, both in reception, and care are excellent. The residents are treated with care, dignity and respect. The only thing I would say is that the place is dirty. White doors have areas of black where hands have been. They have never been cleaned. The whole place could do with a thorough clean and
made brighter and tidier.

HONEST REVIEW
Putting my dad into care was easily the hardest decision I've ever made, however all of the staff here are exceptional and the manager is brilliant and very on point. My dad is very well looked after. He states everyday that he is well looked after and you can see and feel the genuine
care from the staff here. Rooms and the building overall are exceptionally clean and well maintained (there is no awful smells). Food menu is varied and food looks fresh and appetising. The member of staff who does activities and crafts is an amazing woman who engages with all residents and her care and passion is second to none. Overall I am happy as my dad is happy they are all doing a great job at Beachcroft I could not be happier :-)

My mom has been living at Beachcroft House care Home for the past 2 years. I would like to thank staff for their patience, warmth, and joy they bring to my mom's days. I see the difference they make, not just in her care but in her peace of mind. They are truly a blessing to our family.
I would also
like to express my deepest gratitude for the exceptional care, compassion, and patience certain staff show my mom and our family each day. A special thanks to: four members of staff, in particular, cleaning staff (including the gentleman who washes the residents chairs and sofas), the staff who open the door for me when I arrive with my walker, the kitchen staff and the best management team I have ever know in my life and career.
I keep telling the staff that they are not just caregivers- they are healers, companions, and everyday heroes.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

I am very happy for my 83 year old partner to be at Beachcroft House. I can see she is well attended and looked after with warmth and kindness.
She has been here for two months now. The staff always make me feel welcome when I come to visit her.
I have started to feel as if I am one of their team
with the common aim of looking after our special lady.
I always get a polite response to any question I may ask.
I would say Beachcroft House is very well run. It is a credit to the management and staff. It is mightily reassuring for me and other family members that our loved one is in such a good environment. Thank you.

Mum has been in the care of Hillside Nursing Home for nearly 3 years now. Mum has severe dementia, is bed ridden and needs two-handed care. The ethos of management and staff at Hillside is amazing; residents are treated and cared for as if they are family. There are always many staff on shift when
I visit. Communication from staff is excellent, whether that is regarding updates; or needing to find solutions to arising problems. So far, I have not met one grumpy member of staff! Having had an awful previous care home experience for Mum, I cannot recommend Hillside enough for peace of mind for the care of your loved one.

Review of

Acton Care Centre

My husband has been in Acton Care Centre since the end of April. He has been kindly looked after. I think now we have climate change the building of the home gets very hot and the design of the home is not ideal. The food is brought in which is a shame as no fresh veg from garden. The staff are very
kind and always helpful. The outside has litter and some of the garden looks uncared for. I know my husband is safe there, I just wish the rooms had more money spent on them.

Thank you for appreciating the care and support provided by our wonderful team. We are aware of some maintenance and grounds issues and are working to resolve these.
