Emberbrook is homely and not too large...perfect for my Mum. The new owners are refurbishing the home and keeping it looking fresh. They understood the position we were in and the decision we were making. We received kind, considerate, respectful advice and help. Initially, she went in for 2 weeks of respite. It wasn't easy, as this was a big change. But the staff knew what they were doing and it was so reassuring. Within 3 days the transformation in our mum was remarkable! She came back to life! She was happy, contented and really loves the place. Thanks to the staff, the activities, the care and professionalism of Emberbrook. Because of this, we were happy and confident to make the change to full-time resident. She has made friends and is enjoying her life there. No longer feeling alone but part of a larger, lively family.

Just a mention, on taking my brother to meet his wife and onto a Christmas Fayre, I asked the staff to pull out the stops on his dress attire. Carried out perfectly, he was the best-dressed man at the venue, everyone told him how smart he looked, which can only result in his own personal self-esteem. Thank you, thank you.
