Visited my aunt twice and both times the staff were so welcoming and helpful. I can tell my aunt is happy here and has a lovely rapport with the staff who are attentively looking after her. Her room is immaculate and spacious. The communal areas are beautifully decorated and clean. It's a pleasure to visit here and I don't feel bad leaving her as I know how well looked after she is.

All the staff are very welcoming and you can tell they put a lot of care and effort into how they treat the residents.

Visited a few times and have always been treated with a smile and are always happy to help.

The staff here go above and beyond what is expected of them. They are so caring and empathetic with the residents. There are activities almost every day for the residents to take part in. Unfortunately my father in law being 105 years old is unable to take part in many of the activities but the staff try very hard to involve him particularly when music is involved.

It really is a lovely home, I always leave feeling grateful my mother in law is being cared for so well, it gives us a real peace of mind.

Went to visit my nan, always a very warm welcome, all the staff are very friendly and welcoming. My nan is very happy in there which is very comforting. They are always doing activities with the residents which is really nice too. Always offered a drink when we get there too.

I love the fact that I get updates and photos of the nice things that they do in between my visits .

The overall experience has been very good, cleanliness could be improved within the rooms. A little more help with food as some things require a little more strength than the residents have so if i wasn't there she wouldn't of been able to eat it.

The staff and management go out of their way to help and support my mum who has Alzheimer's. Everybody is always friendly and professional and have always gone the extra mile with her care. The home itself is wonderful and my mum always comments on how happy she is there. The management team and nursing staff have always kept me up to date with how mum is doing but all staff from the kitchen to the cleaners deserve a mention. There is a constant programme of things to do to keep mum motivated provided by an excellent entertainment staff. A truly wonderful place for my mum to be cared for.

The manager and staff are truly amazing - consistently attentive, compassionate, and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure every need is met. There's a genuine warmth in the way they support residents, and it shows in everything they do.

The home offers a wonderful variety of fun, engaging, creative and stimulating activities that keep residents active and connected. They involve the local community beautifully with regular family focused events, creating a sense of belonging that means so much to the residents and their families.

Most importantly, my mum is happy and that gives me enormous peace of mind. I feel completely reassured by the manager and the team's unwavering commitment to the highest standards of personal care and service. It is not a care home, but truly a home that cares, and I can't recommend Colne House highly enough.

My mother-in-law is receiving exceptional care at Colne House, and I am so glad we chose this home for her. It gives me and my husband real peace of mind knowing she is happy, safe, and so well looked after. Her room - and in fact the whole house - is always inviting and spotlessly clean, which speaks volumes about the pride the team takes in their work.

The building itself is beautiful, set within stunning gardens that make every visit a pleasure. We are always made to feel welcome, and the kindness of the staff shines through in everything they do. The food and the menu on offer are amazing, with so much thought put into providing variety and quality. The range of tailored activities is impressive. Truly outstanding care in every sense.

Such a lovely place, and a true community. As grandchildren, it's such a privilege to be able to visit a home which is always so cheerful and welcoming, and where we can have space to see our grandma and have a cup of tea with her like we would when she was in her own home. The events are amazing and we've made some really special memories with our son (great grandson) especially. Thanks for always going that extra mile!
