Care Homes Owned by Kingsley Healthcare Group in Merseyside

I visited 3 residents on the 1st floor today. 2 were in the lounge for 1 hour, there were 4 carers chatting to each other in the lounge, sat in the armchairs. There was no interaction with residents apart from the friendly, pleasant maintenance manager. Several residents were on their own in their room. There is a lack of leadership evident. Over the 3 and a half years of visiting, there has been 4 managers and a lot of the good staff have left. Compared to 2 other homes I visit, Park View is poor. It is sad to see how it has deteriorated.

Simply put, Woodlands Lodge Formby is an outstanding place. All the staff and the whole place is/are superb. During my search for a care home, as soon as I walked into Woodlands Lodge, I just knew that this was the place. The feeling was reinforced when I met the staff. The words professional, caring, happy, safe, secure, clean, compassionate, and affectionate are just, but a few to describe the place and staff. My elder mum loves Woodlands Lodge, and we are reassured and content that she is in a great place.

What a wonderful place, the staff here are absolutely fantastic, they go above and beyond. My dad's care is wonderful; he is so well cared for. The activities are getting better and better when we come to see my dad, he is so smart and looks so happy and relaxed.

We love Woodlands Lodge, but it's a big but, we need entertainment staff; it's too much for Yvonne. The staff are lovely, can't do enough for my dad.

I am current on a third stay is for respite care following an op at Hospital. Again, all staff and systems are top-notch. It says a great deal about a place of employment that many staff have been here since my wife's stay began in 2022. A great home and I would highly recommend Woodlands Lodge.

Woodlands: the perfect place with excellent facilities & staff!

My wife went into Woodlands Lodge in 2021 towards the end of Covid Outbreak. I was scared my wife (because of her condition) was not aware of the situation. She was content with everything that was provided.The staff put us both at ease and have always been so caring and kind to us both. My wife is never agitated, and is always smiling and chuckling. I am more at ease because I know she is being looked after so well.

If I need a care home this is where I would like to be.

Overall experience excellent.

The facility is pleasant, clean and welcoming, staff are friendly, helpful and happy. The food is appetising, nutritious and cooked on site. There is plenty to do for residents with themed activities taking place all the time and visitors are always welcome. I feel my mother-in-law is in a safe, caring and positive environment, with high standards, and would recommend Park View to anyone.

our mum arrived here 10 days ago after 8 weeks in hospital after having a stroke. mum turns 80 on tuesday but as most off her family will be working they let us do her a party today. the staff were amazing even putting up with her all her young grandchildren running around and also coming to chat with us all.As a family we felt we had made a right choice for mum too go. thank you for a great day for mums birthday and taking good care of her. we all came away knowing she had a great day and shes well care for

Mum was admitted to Woodlands after a fall when she was exhausted, distressed and in severe pain. From day 1, the manager and staff welcomed her warmly and reassured her. Her pain was quickly managed and in a short time, thanks to the care and attention of staff, she began to thrive. 'Respite' has now become 'permanent'. Mum is very happy. An excellent care home - and welcoming to visitors!

My aunty is looked after by amazing staff and cared for and supported 24hrs a day for all her needs. She is treated with dignity and love. Her needs are met with her eating requirements. She enjoys the activities and singing. We know she is cared for and safe.

We know he is safe and well looked after.

My husband has been a resident at Woodlands Lodge for almost 4 years. From day one, we have experienced excellent service on every level. I visit my husband every day at various times during the day, including late into the evening, so I see all the staff during that time. The quality of care and support is consistently excellent at all times. I am delighted with the staff and facilities. I couldn't wish for my husband to be in a better place.

The home is very friendly, and the staff are very good with my aunt - she particularly likes her visits off a particular staff member. She has settled in very well and likes her garden room.

Efficent management & friendly and considerate staff.

Mum has been in Park View Nursing Home for three months and, after an unsettled beginning, appears to have settled well into the care of the home. All staff appear to be very able, considerate, and professional in the way they approach mum, and she seems to be happy with her surroundings, the food and the careful way she is looked after.
