Mum spent the last 4 months of her life as a resident at Timperley Care Home. There is a calm and peaceful atmosphere in the home and the staff are very kind, caring and professional.
There was always a warm welcome when I visited, from both the staff and other residents and mum felt safe among her
new friends.
She had a bright and cheery room looking out onto the garden where she could choose to be alone or have a cup of tea with visitors.
Thank you all for your kindness and support in taking care of mum and the support you gave to us as a family.

I can't speak too highly of the way the staff look after the residents. I have spent quite a number of hours in the home since September 2025 so familiar with the practices. Respect and care are top of the agenda and the facilities first class.
Reply from Kean Mason-Buckley, Operations Manager at Four Oaks Nursing HomeThank you Tony for the amazing review. Your Wife has been with us for some time now and seems she has settled in well. It is lovely to see her enjoying the Caf area each day. It is a comfort to see your Wife settled in the home.
Thank you again.

My dear friend was welcomed to Four Oaks after living alone with carers calling four times a day. From the day she arrived she was treated with respect and given such a warm welcome. In her own words 'it totally changed my life'. She had always been a smiler but her smile began to be her 'trademark'.
She would light up the room.

Unfortunately she passed away on 1 November 2025. The nursing staff worked tirelessley to revive her but it was her time to 'go'. The impact she had on everyone was so evident as I saw the love coming from everyone who was on duty that day.

Her last few weeks had been some of the best she had had in years.

I'd like to thank everyone who came into contact with her for the care, respect and admiration you gave her.

I would recommend Four Oaks to anyone who is considering short or long term care for their loved ones.

Reply from Kean Mason-Buckley, Operations Manager at Four Oaks Nursing HomeFrom the bottom of our hearts, we are truly sorry for your loss of your good friend. The staff often spoke about her and got to know her well, including her close bond with you. She was a poorly woman but had your support throughout. Although we should be saying thank you for the review, what we truly mean is thank you for being there for your friend to the end.

Four Oaks manager to combine excellent care with a homely, caring atmosphere.
All the staff are warm, caring and friendly.
The nursing care is of a very high standard, and I am confident my dad's receiving the best care possible.
Thanks to all at Four Oaks.

My mother stayed at Timperley for the final 3+ months of her life. She settled in quickly, and I cannot fault the professionalism of the staff and care workers. She was physically and mentally in better shape than she had been for over a year prior to residence at TCH, at her time of leaving. This is
an excellent care home, in my opinion, and I would not hesitate to recommend it as a place for loved ones to stay. Thank you all for you kindness and compassion towards my mother.

This care home is a truly lovely, warm, and caring place. The caregivers go above and beyond every day and are genuinely some of the best you could hope for. They treat residents with kindness, respect, and compassion, and it's clear they really care about the people they look after. Knowing my mum
is in such a supportive and nurturing environment gives our family great peace of mind. I couldn't recommend this care home highly enough.

I cannot fault the care my mum receives at Four Oaks. All the staff are super efficient and friendly - this includes reception, the activity team, domestic staff as well as the excellent carers and nurses. Everybody in the building takes the trouble to stop and say hello to mum even the chef this week.
The activity team do everything they can to include my mum and other residents even when it is difficult for them to fully participate. My mum always has a smile on her face because of this - thank you for your dedication
Reply from Kean Mason-Buckley, Operations Manager at Four Oaks Nursing HomeThank you so much for the lovely review, the staff will be delighted on your comments. The team have expressed how happy Mum seems, especially during her night routine she will often have a little sing-along before bed. If there is anything we can do at all to support further then please let us know. Thank you again.

My wife was accepted by Four Oaks Nursing Home in January 2023. She had been diagnosed with Alzheimer's Dementia in early 2018, and for the next 2 or 3 years I managed to care for at home reasonably well. However, her Dementia gradually worsened , until I was unable to provide the nursing care that
she desperately needed.

From the very first day that she entered Four Oaks the staff have been wonderful. They are very professional, kind, considerate, patient and compassionate. Each time I visit I can see that she is very content, and regards it as "home" and I would recommend Four Oaks to anyone, in need of care.

Reply from Kean Mason-Buckley, Operations Manager at Four Oaks Nursing HomeThank you for your beautiful review. I am glad the team have been very supportive and it is lovely to see your wife come visit us in the offices. She is always so pleasant and feel you are both part of our family. If we can do anything at all then please let us know.

Thank you again.

My wife of over 60 years was diagnosed with Alzheimer's dementia pre covid. I kept her at our family home until she needed more care than I could give her. We chose as a family to make sure that she needed the best future care and chose Four Oaks in July, and are so glad we did! As well as excellent
care, everyone who works there gives so much love and compassion. Along with full support for her and our family.

We had very limited time to move our precious mum out of hospital when she deteriorated rapidly to 'end of life'.
The staff at the care home could not have been kinder both to her and to us her family. They tended to her compassionately and treated her respectfully and with dignity to the very end.
We would recommend them without hesitation and will always be grateful to the whole team.

What a wonderful care home! Mum only spent 10 weeks of her life there at the very end. She never wanted to go into care and, to be honest, the family didn't want her too either. However, from the moment we visited to look round to the moment mum died we knew it was and had been the best place for her
to be cared for and we weren't wrong. Without exception, all the staff including nursing, management, care, maintenance, across the board, showed care, concern and empathy to both mum and the family. She was cared for affectionately and her dignity was considered at all times. The home itself is spotless, the residents are kept engaged and happy with loads of great activities, parties, celebrations ... you name it, their social life is better than mine! At the end mum was cared for with compassion, ensuring that she was at peace throughout and all staff were mindful and considerate towards the whole family. I can't recommend Timperley Care Home enough.

Mum was diagnosed with dementia in April 2023, suffered a stroke in October & we were told whilst she was in hospital, it was necessary for her to move into a care home. Timperley Nursing Home was one of the 3 homes we contacted. They responded immediately. Mum moved in before Xmas 2023. We are delighted
with the care she now receives. Tracy & her staff are now like her family - kind, supportive and lovely!

I highly recommend this care home. My Mum was a resident for a year and she was very happy there. The staff go out of their way to care, support and entertain residents. As a family we were made very welcome and we could visit anytime. There were lots of activities planned, virtually every day. There
was a variety of concerts, singers, socials, afternoon tea as well as outings. My Mum went on a trip to a farm, a garden centre, and the Bridgewater Hall to name a few. The care she received was excellent, caring and compassionate. The care and nursing staff were professional and extremely responsive to my Mum's individual needs. I cannot praise them highly enough. The whole care home is spotless. All the staff without exception, office staff, administrative staff, cleaning and hospitality staff all interact with the residents and take an interest in their well being. My Mum felt safe and well looked after.
It did feel like being part of a family and I will miss my visits. Thank you.

I started visiting my friend in the new year. I was very impressed with the home it being modern bright and cheerful. Her room was very nice and she was able to have some of her own items brought in. As well as a large communal room there was a smaller lounge leading to a patio where my friend liked
to sit. Plenty of activities to join in.

I visit one of your dementia residents once a week. From the day I first walked in to Timperley Care Home, it felt warm and welcoming with a really comfortable ambience. The staff - without exception - are caring and considerate, all of them giving of their time and willing to support when required,
but equally aware of when to give you space. The home is bright and airy with spacious, uncluttered bedrooms for all residents. The lounge areas on both floors are inviting, with a wonderful coffee station accessible to all. I really like the effort that has gone in to making meal times a proper 'event', encouraging as many residents to eat formally at properly laid tables. The garden might not be big, but it is beautifully tended and offers seating areas for warmer days and a welcome 'change of scene'.

What a relief it was to find this home. Quietly tucked away in a residential area yet easily accessible. The care my husband receives is amazing. I feel totally at peace with the knowledge he is comfortable and well looked after. He is a relatively young resident with lots of energy to walk around,
so caring for him is not easy! A big thank you from me to all at Timperley Care Home.

My sister has been at Four Oaks since early July, transferring from hospital following a fall. She was very poorly on arrival and was admitted for palliative care. Her condition remains serious, but Four Oaks staff have improved her day to day living immeasurably.
She is clearly very comfortable and
is treated with dignity by all who tend to her needs. As we, her family, get to know the staff, our visiting experience improves. We feel satisfied that my sister's well-being is paramount.
Reply from Bev Davies, Home Manager at Four Oaks Nursing HomeThank you so much for your lovely words. We're really glad to hear your sister is feeling more comfortable and that you and your family feel supported when visiting. Our team works hard to make sure residents are cared for with dignity and compassion, so it means a lot to know this is coming through. We'll make sure to share your kind feedback with everyone here at Four Oaks.

This is a bright purpose built establishment. On entry there is a cheerful welcome. It would be difficult to nominate any one special carer as each and ever one deserves thanks. It's a privilege to be given a visitors' lounge where refreshments are readily available. We also enjoy the activity room
where, whenever possible, with our family we place games, what makes this home is the happy, smiling caring staff. A difficult job but they still smile! Thank you.
