Anne has been a resident for 3 years. Her care has been unfailing, and physically, she has improved. Now that dementia is prevalent, her care has increased to help her. The staff are so kind, and I know she's being given every chance to be "herself"

Warm, welcoming and spotlessly clean, Branksome Heights hugely exceeded all my expectations when Mum checked in for respite care. Without exception, all Staff are genuinely helpful and kind, providing top class personal care and medical intervention. With comfortable private accommodations, light,
airy and homely public spaces, extensive and varied daily activities and delicious, beautifully presented daily menus this facility provides a true "home from home" experience

This review is very long overdue! What can I say : the staff are exceptional, friendly, entertaining and caring. Not only have they selflessly cared for my mum for almost 3 years, they have also supported me through some hard times. They feel like my extended family to be honest. My mum loves music
and whenever there is live music on , she can be found tapping her feet with a huge grin on her face. Her smile has become famous amongst the staff. The huge renovation and extensions are just fabulous and the gardens are wonderful, allowing nature to take its own course. I feel so very blessed that we chose the right home for my dear mum. Trips to garden centres and the Nothe Gardens were very memorable. Thanks guys x

Branksome Heights is a superb care home, The excellent staff combine authentic warmth with true professionalism and care. My father has lived here since January and he has been so happy here, constantly admiring (as I do..) the cleanliness, kindness and care of the staff. They take a real personal
interest in the residents that makes them feel that this really is their home. Thank you!

This nursing home has provided excellent care for my brother, who has dementia. I am kept informed about his condition, and staff are always ready to explain and offer support to me. He is always clean and well presented and appears very happy - greeting his carers with a smile.
I cannot speak highly
enough of what this means to his family and myself.

This is the second nursing home my mother in law has been in, and through other family members, I have seen many others. This home is one of the best. The staff are very welcoming and have a passion and dedication to look after the resident in their care. The level of cleanliness and catering is extremely
high, and the engagement with relatives regarding the introduction of new menus. I would have no hesitation in recommending this home to anyone who is considering placing their relative here.

We are so pleased we chose Queen Charlotte's for mum. The team are fantastic. Everyone, which ever part of the home they work, is enthusiastic and dedicated to their job to make the residents experience the best possible. The activities team work hard to engage residents and provide enjoyable experience
for families to share with their loved ones. The food is lovely and carefully prepared to cater for the residents needs. The environment is beautiful, having been recently fully refurbished throughout. Thank you for all the care you give mum to provide the best possible experience for her.

Welcoming friendly, attentive staff, had a few wobbles but eventually listened to and sorted. Fun and engaging range of activities. Better than previous homes. Clean environment. Limited parking though, so have to visit towards end of day and also struggle to get out half the time of no one is about.

Lovely home with caring staff. Mum is very happy here. Our only small issue (mum's and mine) is that you use flasks of hot water for making tea, and often not piping hot. Can you not have a wall hot water heater with safety controls on the wall?

My mother has recently transferred from a Care Home in North Yorkshire to the Queen Charlotte (QC) in Weymouth. The support I received from the team at QC during this difficult time was excellent.
Since arriving at QC my mother and all the family have been made most welcome and treated with the utmost
respect. She has settled in extremely well to her new environment and the care and attention she is receiving is beyond reproach.

Mum moved into Branksome Heights just a week ago after a 4 month spell in hospital after a fall. Prior to this she had been living in her own home & was naturally very anxious about moving to BH. However, from the moment she went through the door she was greeted with such genuine warmth & friendliness
she felt settled almost immediatly. Her room, the care given to her, the food & all the staff are wonderful. Early days but so far we are all very happy to have found BH.

Queen Charlotte Nursing Home

My partner had the misfortune to develop Altzheimer's a number of years ago and at first care was arranged with a private caring team which did a good caring job of looking after all of her requirements and I cooked her a substantial meal in the evenings, until her dimentia became so advanced that her
sons and myself came to the conclusion that she would need around the clock care. The wheels were set in motion and enquiries were commenced. Eventually, my partner's sons informed me that she had managed to secure a vacancy at Queen Charlotte Care Home, which was quite local for all of us ,so good for visiting my partner. At first I was a little concerned that she wouldn't settle in very well, but in a short while, she seemed very happy, I'm sure this was because the staff having such a friendly manner, I visit my partner a minimum of 3 days per week and have always found the carers pleasant to residents and visitors alike, There is a wide programme of entertainment including live music.

Dad was admitted following a fall at home and a short time in hospital at which point his Vascula Dementia became very evident and 24/7 nursing care was my only option for him to keep him safe. QC more than happy to accommodate Dad and he lived there for three and a quarter years. At first Dad was
very confused, very unsettled and difficult to get settled. The care staff were very supportive to both Dad and myself and as the months passed and his Dementia advanced he became much easier to care for and easier to visit and spend time with. Dad would spend periods relaxing in the communal lounge area, watching television and participating to the best of his ability in the many activities that were delivered by the staff. Dad loved his food but at times had difficulty feeding himself so someone was always on hand to help him enjoy his meal times. Dad was extremely well cared for during his time at QC which assured me that I had nothing to worry about! Dad was safe! Thank you QC.
