My brother has improved greatly from all the staff and their help and encouragement. He is eating much better, socialising and much brighter in himself. Also, weight gain is amazing; he looks so much better facially. Thank you one and all, I would recommend it to you all, a lovely home filled with lovely
staff.

My husband, who has Parkinsons disease, recently spent 2 weeks respite at Weymouth Manor. He had a lovely bedroom with an en suite wet-room. The clinical staff were excellent in their care of him. The care staff were so friendly and caring, and encouraged him to join in with activities. Visits by myself
and other family were welcomed, and we were also encouraged to take part in activities. Tea and cakes were always offered. My husband loved the food, served in the well laid out dining room, where he was given help to eat. He would like to make a special mention of the talented chef, especially his cakes! I would certainly recommend this care home and will definitely be booking a further respite stay in the near future.

Branksome Heights has been an amazing find....the staff as a whole, are absolutely fantastic and make a great team from top to bottom. As a family we are super happy that Dad is so well cared for, and is completely at home in a great safe environment. Would like to also point out that Dad has quite
high standards and often says that you can't fault the home in any shape or form. He also compliments the staff in all ways and is extremely complimentary about the food. As I said earlier, a great find and a job well done by all.

It was a big decision to move Mum into care...at 102 she is still pretty amazing but her sight very poor which causes her anxiety. I have to say the quality of care she has received has been nothing short of exceptional. Almost all of the staff have done something over and above their job to help ensure
mum settle in, not in response to a request, but unprompted using their experience and initiative....the night staff who sat outside her door to ensure if she started to wander she could be guided quickly, to the nurse who stayed on beyond her shift to ensure when I brought mum back in from a trip I had support to settle her back in if I needed it, to the residents they buddied her up with to give her confidence and to haveclunch with not forgetting the amazing activities team who quickly saw she had the potential to be one of the "front row ladies" and yesterday arranged both a lunch and afternoon entertainment to celebrate her birthday....they even found a card with 102 on it...!!

My Nan came into this home in April and I must say I was a little hesitant and nervous.
The staff at branksome have changed my Nan's quality of life for the better and have put mine and my family's mind at rest. My Nan was at home alone with a care package but was unfortunately not able to get out
and see people. She was missing that social aspect and interaction with people other than her carers. The transition into the home was seamless. All the staff are really friendly and have made her feel so welcome. The activities in the home are great and although she may not always feel like joining in she is always invited. The food looks amazing and nan said it's tasty so that's a plus too. Overall a great experience so far.

It is generally a lovely place, well managed, and with a vast majority of dedicated and patient staff who treat residents with respect and dignity. (Including my mum, I'm delighted to say). Let down a bit though by a few snotty members of staff, especially nurses (not all) who give out medicine and
don't seem to like residents being taken out by their family! Who, in my opinion, is more suited to work in a hospital than a care home, and so won't have that problem. But this is minor compared with so many lovely staff who make it the friendly, homely, loving place it is.

My Dad has been a resident at Queen Charlotte (QC) since August 2024. My Mum was a resident as well in 2018. It was my Dad's choice that if he ever needed to go into a nursing home then it would be QC. What a wonderful care home. But what quintessentially makes this possible is that all the staff
who work there go above and beyond to make QC a lovely Home to be living in. The residents are well cared for and they have a busy daily schedule of activities to take part in. The Chef cooks delicious home cooked meals, cakes and puddings are a delight. My Dad is content and always smiling and every time I visit I am welcomed into QC. Thank you so much to the Home Manager and all the QC Staff.

I cannot thank the manager and his wonderful team enough for the love, care, dignity and compassion shown to my grandad during his time at QC. The support also given to us as a family during his final day's was exceptional, nothing was ever too much bother and this will remain with us forever. He was

Prior to my relative becoming a resident of Branksome Heights, he would take respite breaks there. He was always very complimentary about the care he received. He is now a permanent resident and on the occasions I have visited I have always been made to feel welcome by any staff member whom I happen
to come across. My relative is always taking part in activities - as seen in photographs on social media - and I think that is brilliant and more to the point he is well cared for. The food is exceptional for a care home. I really do think it's a lovely care home.

My dad is so happy. Laughing and smiling, he has put on weight, we have not seen him looking so happy eating and drinking well. The activities are amazing, lovely atmosphere in the care home, dad loves it. He has always been a people person, I think I take after him. I came to join dad for my lunch
on Boxing Day. The meal was so good and the dining room experience was so nice to have the party. The lift being fixed and signs being put up for the contractors not to park in the care home car park, so there was enough parking for relatives. I am so glad dad is at Queen Charlotte Care Home.

Mum moved into Branksome Heights nine months ago, having decided she wanted more social contact and less responsibility. After visiting several local homes, she could not have made a better choice. From the moment Mum moved in, she has been made to feel very welcome, is looked after, treated with dignity
and feels very at home.
The home is light and airy, always clean, and has a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. The whole team is very friendly, helpful, caring and go over and above what we expected. Everyone takes the time to welcome and engage with you.
Mum enjoys taking part in the daily activities, which are inventive and fun. The food is great and I enjoy joining her for the occasional meal.
My sister and I feel very content knowing Mum is in a safe and secure home where she still has the level of independence she wants but with the care and support of the team around her.
Well done Branksome Heights!

Dad came to stay here for a couple of weeks and ended up extending his stay for a few more weeks. From the minute he arrived until he left, the care and attention he received was wonderful. Everyone who works here gives 100% to the residents, nothing is too much and everybody is always smiling and happy.
Any request I had for Dad was always given the utmost attention and followed through. As a visitor, I received more than I would have expected and treated with kindness and it was a pleasure to visit my father every day. I have nothing but praise for the staff and would highly recommend this care home.
