My aunt was recently referred to Weymouth Manor Nursing Home for respite. After spending a month there, she is very happy and likes her room, and the staff are friendly and caring. Good range of facilities in a very modern and clean building. She has now signed up to stay permanently.

From walking through the door and being welcomed by the deputy manager, we were impressed with Highcliffe Care Home. It is a light, modern, spacious and attractive home with a very peaceful atmosphere. We found all the staff very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We are very grateful for the care our

It was a big decision to move Mum into care...at 102 she is still pretty amazing but her sight very poor which causes her anxiety. I have to say the quality of care she has received has been nothing short of exceptional. Almost all of the staff have done something over and above their job to help ensure
mum settle in, not in response to a request, but unprompted using their experience and initiative....the night staff who sat outside her door to ensure if she started to wander she could be guided quickly, to the nurse who stayed on beyond her shift to ensure when I brought mum back in from a trip I had support to settle her back in if I needed it, to the residents they buddied her up with to give her confidence and to haveclunch with not forgetting the amazing activities team who quickly saw she had the potential to be one of the "front row ladies" and yesterday arranged both a lunch and afternoon entertainment to celebrate her birthday....they even found a card with 102 on it...!!

My Nan came into this home in April and I must say I was a little hesitant and nervous.
The staff at branksome have changed my Nan's quality of life for the better and have put mine and my family's mind at rest. My Nan was at home alone with a care package but was unfortunately not able to get out
and see people. She was missing that social aspect and interaction with people other than her carers. The transition into the home was seamless. All the staff are really friendly and have made her feel so welcome. The activities in the home are great and although she may not always feel like joining in she is always invited. The food looks amazing and nan said it's tasty so that's a plus too. Overall a great experience so far.

It is generally a lovely place, well managed, and with a vast majority of dedicated and patient staff who treat residents with respect and dignity. (Including my mum, I'm delighted to say). Let down a bit though by a few snotty members of staff, especially nurses (not all) who give out medicine and
don't seem to like residents being taken out by their family! Who, in my opinion, is more suited to work in a hospital than a care home, and so won't have that problem. But this is minor compared with so many lovely staff who make it the friendly, homely, loving place it is.

Thank you for your honest feedback and as discussed I will share with the nursing team - we are happy for our residents to engage in the community as long as medication is safely managed. Very pleased to know you have such high regards for the home and the team.

My Dad has been a resident at Queen Charlotte (QC) since August 2024. My Mum was a resident as well in 2018. It was my Dad's choice that if he ever needed to go into a nursing home then it would be QC. What a wonderful care home. But what quintessentially makes this possible is that all the staff
who work there go above and beyond to make QC a lovely Home to be living in. The residents are well cared for and they have a busy daily schedule of activities to take part in. The Chef cooks delicious home cooked meals, cakes and puddings are a delight. My Dad is content and always smiling and every time I visit I am welcomed into QC. Thank you so much to the Home Manager and all the QC Staff.

I cannot thank the manager and his wonderful team enough for the love, care, dignity and compassion shown to my grandad during his time at QC. The support also given to us as a family during his final day's was exceptional, nothing was ever too much bother and this will remain with us forever. He was
very settled and very happy. You all have a very special place in our hearts.

Prior to my relative becoming a resident of Branksome Heights, he would take respite breaks there. He was always very complimentary about the care he received. He is now a permanent resident and on the occasions I have visited I have always been made to feel welcome by any staff member whom I happen
to come across. My relative is always taking part in activities - as seen in photographs on social media - and I think that is brilliant and more to the point he is well cared for. The food is exceptional for a care home. I really do think it's a lovely care home.

My dad is so happy. Laughing and smiling, he has put on weight, we have not seen him looking so happy eating and drinking well. The activities are amazing, lovely atmosphere in the care home, dad loves it. He has always been a people person, I think I take after him. I came to join dad for my lunch
on Boxing Day. The meal was so good and the dining room experience was so nice to have the party. The lift being fixed and signs being put up for the contractors not to park in the care home car park, so there was enough parking for relatives. I am so glad dad is at Queen Charlotte Care Home.

Mum moved into Branksome Heights nine months ago, having decided she wanted more social contact and less responsibility. After visiting several local homes, she could not have made a better choice. From the moment Mum moved in, she has been made to feel very welcome, is looked after, treated with dignity
and feels very at home.
The home is light and airy, always clean, and has a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. The whole team is very friendly, helpful, caring and go over and above what we expected. Everyone takes the time to welcome and engage with you.
Mum enjoys taking part in the daily activities, which are inventive and fun. The food is great and I enjoy joining her for the occasional meal.
My sister and I feel very content knowing Mum is in a safe and secure home where she still has the level of independence she wants but with the care and support of the team around her.
Well done Branksome Heights!

Dad came to stay here for a couple of weeks and ended up extending his stay for a few more weeks. From the minute he arrived until he left, the care and attention he received was wonderful. Everyone who works here gives 100% to the residents, nothing is too much and everybody is always smiling and happy.
Any request I had for Dad was always given the utmost attention and followed through. As a visitor, I received more than I would have expected and treated with kindness and it was a pleasure to visit my father every day. I have nothing but praise for the staff and would highly recommend this care home.

My mother has been a resident for over two and a half years and I've been very happy with her care over that time. We have good communication between the home and me. I like the fact that they retain staff and my mum has familiar faces around her and her care is personalised to her individual needs.
The facilities and activities provided are good and although Mum doesn't always join in, they appear to be wide-ranging to appeal to all of the residents.

Everyone is welcomed with open arms and the staff are very friendly and help out with anything we ask. You can see and speak to the manager if she's in or if not, there's always someone to talk to.
It's always kept very clean and the residents are kept entertained

There is a very welcoming atmosphere as soon as you walk into the reception area. I have visited my friend (a resident) more than once and each time, the staff greet you with a smile.
My friend needs a lot of support and it was very clear to me just how much care and gentle attention he is given.
Staff seem to know his needs and preferences so well. Nothing is too much trouble for them.
The premises are kept beautifully and the variety of thoughtful and engaging activities is wonderful. I can see a real improvement in the physical and emotional health of my lovely friend since he moved there. Another fabulous thing is how my friend's wife, one of my closest friends, is so relieved that her husband is so well cared for. It's such a blessing for her to know that her beloved husband is happy.
Should I ever need that level of nursing and care, I would count myself very lucky to stay at Branksome Heights Care Home.

When we were invited to view the home for the first time the management team were very informative giving us all the information we were asking for, showing us the room Dad would be in, along with all other facilities and whilst walking round we were impressed with how friendly all the staff were, taking
time to talk to us about everything they do during the days to occupy the residents.
The residents have an exceptional menu choice each day and we noticed how kind and patient all the staff are with them all.
Another thing that impressed us was how clean the place was kept as well.
If you want a meal with your loved ones whilst visiting this can be arranged with notice at a very reasonable price.
Can't speak highly enough about Queen Charlotte Care Home and all the staff and we know we have found the home our Dad deserves to be in and looked after as we would want him to be.
