In all the homes that Chris has been in, this is by far the best. Right from the management to the staff working with him, they do help, encourage and manage him in the best way they can. We as parents can rest assured that he is looked after, when we aren't around. Well done - The Mount and Carrie and her team. And thank you.

All staff are always freindly and very helpful

My mum was admitted following discharge from hospital after we were assured the home could meet her complex nursing and palliative care needs. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely poor. There were repeated delays in administering time-critical medication, staff appeared unfamiliar with her care needs on admission, and family members had to assist with personal care because suitable staff were unavailable. We also had concerns about wound care, medication management and the time taken to respond to her call bell. Due to these concerns, she was transferred to Lindsey Lodge Hospice within 48 hours. Following her transfer, the hospice identified a discrepancy with her medication which required clarification with the care home. We have raised our concerns with the relevant authorities and would not recommend this home based on our experience.

As a family of Susan we are very satisfied with Susan's care and all staff that give her support. Thank you. Susan looked very smart and looked healthy on our visit.

Margaret is extremely well looked after by all the staff. I do not have any issues.

She has her own fridge to keep them in. The staff are good with her hygiene and always make sure she looks nice.

Beautiful people who work very hard nothing is too much trouble for them and also nothing is to much trouble for all relatives they will help you with what ever they can. Nice clean place all residents are clean and dressed properly Bedrooms beautiful decorated to a high standard. All residents are taken out regularly to lots of places I would higly recomend Gilby House to anyone..

Visits are allowed to be carried out in a private room, which is really positive for good conversations. Carers are really friendly

My son came to live here recently and I am absolutely amazed at how he is gaining independence and confidence under the caring guidance of Eleanor (the manager) and the team of dedicated carers. Immediately I walked into Southfield, I was impressed by warm and welcoming feeling. The home itself is clean, modern, well equipped and extremely well organised. The residents are treated like a big family, but each is respected and supported, led by their individual needs, preferences and personalities. From the minute my son stepped through the doors, I knew he was in a safe place which was calm, peaceful and hopeful. He had been insular and anxious previously, leading to depression, but after a week he was walking to the shops and making his own choices. He is interacting with other residents, sitting with them to dine, and hoping to join in with activities. I feel positive that he is safe, supported and treated with compassion and kindness. Thank you so much, Eleanor and all the care team.

My namy is Andy. The staff and home are 1st class. Always polite and caring to all. They always keep us updated at any changed or Jeans condition. We as a family are so pleased that Jean is staying here and cannot praise the staff enough Thank you.

I am very pleased with the new manageress Helena, she is very engaging and has made a great different to Southfield House.

The staff at The Mount are very friendly they help me go out in the community and walk around all the shops I like all the food that we have and all the puddings I have a nice bedroom with my own furniture.

I find the staff very very helpful as my brother can be quite challenging! But they work around is various modes! The staff have now got my brother onto a help the community scheme! That I am sure he really enjoys! This then gives him a purpose and he not bored sitting in his room causing mischief. Thank you very much.
