The care given to my mother is excellent. She is in a wheelchair but brought daily into the lounge / dining area by staff for meals and social connection and they always ensure the residents are happy and their needs being looked after. The staff are friendly and helpful and always have time for a chat
with the residents and visitors alike.
The care home ensure there is regular entertainment, walks around the village, trips out and so on. They also ensure regular visits from hairdressers, chiropodists, vaccinations are up to date and so on.
I'm very pleased with the level of care my mother receives and I have piece of mind knowing she is happy there!

The home is cosy, everything provided is done with consideration for a homely environment. The manager is very special, supportive, intuitive, knowledgeable, fun and empathetic. My daughter loves her. I have enormous respect for her. There are many very good carers indeed, the manager supports her staff.
My daughter is content and happy. The nursing staff and management supported us through my daughters illness in 2024 and the manager was vigilant and picked up any problems following so they were sorted. Staff understand the individual needs of everyone. We as a family are so relieved that our daughter has her needs met with fun and kindness. A covered area outside would be beneficial so they could enjoy fresh air and the garden but protected from the sun. Also if musicians or singers come more often to entertain them. Sammy could pay towards that our of her spending money.

The care my father received at St. Michael's was superb. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff there. All staff, not just the carers treated my father extremely respectfully, taking care to understand his wishes and taking the time to talk to him about his life.
As family, I was always
made to feel very welcome and the staff always knew exactly how my father had been that day. Whenever my father's condition worsened, I received calls from St. Michael's to inform me, giving me the confidence that they were monitoring him closely.
On the day that he passed, the staff were extremely supportive and helped me a lot.
Placing my father in the care of St. Michael's was the best decision I could have made, both for him and for me.
Thank you so much, all of you.

We are so grateful to St Michael's and the fabulous staff who supported my Grandmother during a respite stay. From the moment we contacted St Michael's they went above and beyond to help us: helping with the transition and discharge from hospital, ensuring a speedy start date was arranged and completing
forms etc.
Upon arrival, my Gran received the warmest welcome with carers helping her in and getting her settled into the room. Carers demonstrated such respect and dignity for her, with diabetics needs supported through regular communication with the appropriate nurse teams.
She rebuilt her strength and independence at a pace that allowed her to return home after a few weeks. The social opportunities were fantastic too - flower arranging, ice cream van visits, Xmas meals out, bingo and songs/ music!! Wonderful!! Gran told us how tasty the food was and enjoyed the variety of meals.
The home was always clean, warm and warm welcoming - a home from home!
Thank you so much to the team!

My mother has been a resident for 5 half years at Fir Close. She is now on end of life care for advanced dementia and related health issues. The staff is caring, kind and knowledgeable. I feel supported in my role as Mum's only living child. I visit frequently and always find Mum well-looked after.
The staff obviously know her well and anticipate her needs. They have always listened to her.

We absolutely cannot fault The Old Rectory. Mum in Law has been so much happier since living there and has now been a resident for just over a year. Her health and wellbeing continue to be good, and she has made many friends. The staff are Wonderful and very supportive and as a family we know that Mum
is safe and cared for. The Old Rectory is a busy home and there are always activities for residents to join in with. We feel reassured by the photos posted on social media too and it's lovely to see Mum so happy.

My experience of Fir Close and its staff are friendly and approachable if we have any concerns regarding in my case, my sister, who has down syndrome & stage two dementia. The staff are always willing to listen and take on board any concerns I have. We had a few hiccups when my sister first went into
Fir Close, but talking with the staff sorted them out. The cleanliness of the home is excellent, and so is the food they serve. My sister's room is cosy and has everything she needs: wardrobe space and drawers, etc. The reception facility are also good with plenty of activities for the residents.

5-Star Review - The Old Rectory Care Home
Seeing my Nan flourish again has been one of the greatest joys for our family, and it's all thanks to the incredible team at The Old Rectory. Before moving here, she often seemed lost and withdrawn, but now it's as if she's ten years younger. She's back to
her fun, lively self-dancing, chatting, laughing, and getting involved with everything going on around her.
The transformation has been truly amazing. The staff have shown such genuine care, patience, and dedication, and it's clear they've taken the time to understand what she needs to feel happy and confident again. She absolutely adores them, and we can see why-they've created a warm, safe, and joyful environment where she feels valued and supported.
We can't thank The Old Rectory enough for giving our Nan her spark back. It means the world to us. Highly, highly recommend.

St. Michael's has got mum singing again!!
For years, living alone, mum always said she couldn't sing anymore (she used to sing professionally). We just accepted it - old age robs one of a lot.
Imagine my suprise and delight when, after 6 months of living at St. Michael's, I heard that old familiar,
beautiful voice - the one she thought she'd lost- singing her little heart out!!
This is what St. Michael's does for it's residents.
They are so well cared for in every respect, the atmosphere, the good food, the cleanliness, the friendliness, and the professionalism can only have one outcome - contented, happy, secure residents who have found the best care home in Lincolnshire!!
A huge thank you to you all.

We are very impressed with the care you give at this home. It is really lovely that we are able to see things that Mum has been doing on social media, especially as we live so far away and can only visit occasionally. It is a lovely home, and the atmosphere is very welcoming.

My partner, with Alzheimers is incarcerated in this place. He wanted to leave months ago as the agreement to carry out rehab after a fall has not taken place and he is now far worse than when he went in and is unable to walk out. Very upsetting for all concerned.

My Mum-in-Law moved into the home earlier this year and has settled in very well. She enjoys the food and the wide range of activities on offer. There is a choice of rooms for her to sit in, including a large TV lounge and a quiet library room. She also has her own private en-suite room, which is very
comfortable. The staff are very caring, respectful and professional.

The Old Rectory at Stickney, Lincs, has been caring for my mother, for the better part of three years. It has been a tough time for as she slides further into dementia and a loss of mobility. Over the last 12 to 18 months, this care home has in my opinion, gone from average to very good care. The staff
are delightful, and seem to be far happier now, than they were a couple of years ago. The residents now have a wide range of activities to partake in, much more than previously. The fabric of the building and fitments, are steadily improved or renewed. The staff are always very polite and friendly to visitors, which really helps at times when visits are difficult. My mother is far happier than previously, and always praises the staff to us. I wasnt sure previously if the Old Rectory was the best fit for her. However since the change of managemwnt, i am convinced now that it is indeed the best place for her care.
