Carers are as cheeky as me and very nice.

The staff are cheerful and humour my auntie and look after her well. There is an activity leader Steph who my auntie appreciates and keeps her entertained. I feel confident my auntie is happy, safe and loved here.

For the past 5 years my relative has been looked after by the care home and it was clear even right to the end how kind and caring the staff were with her and what bond some care workers had formed with her. Her admission was during Covid, and while they are not a local care home to us, it was definitely the right and best decision for her care. The social media page showing updates and activities the residence were involved in, and seeing her involved from time to time was fantastic, aswell as seeing how amazing they were with their other residents too. As a former care worker, I can honestly say in my local area there is not one home here that even meets their standards, their ability to care and provide. While I wish she was closer, I knew she was in the best place possible. There will never be enough words to express my gratitude for her care, along with my family. They played a huge part in her dementia journey, and cared for her with additional issues that appeared. Thankyou so much.

My son has been staying at Tamar House on respite at weekends for a year and a half. I am a single parent and need a break from my caring role. The residents and the staff have been fabulous in looking after my son. I would recomend Tamar House to anyone its a great home.

I cannot praise the management and staff for the dedication and care they gave my brother throughout the past five years. Unfortunately he has now passed away, but was cared for at Tamar untill he passed away. He was cared for as an individual and this gave his family so much comfort. Not only did they support him, but also myself and family. Thank you once again everyone for your kindness and care.

Always very helpful, friendly and obliging, the staff will recommend food and care to a very high standard. A big thank you to all concerned.

Since my son has been at St Oggs his mental health has improved enormously. They make sure he takes his medication regularly. His is eating well, and always seems cheerful when we visit. The staff are very friendly and have become the family, always willing to chat when I ring up. My son was very poorly when he went to St Oggs, not eating, not sleeping and not taking his medication. He has improved so much which gives me peace of mind. I know he is cared for. Thank you.

Tamar House has a lovely family atmosphere with wonderful caring manager and staff.

Seacroft Court has such a lovely atmosphere with lots going on all the time, including regular entertainment the residents all seem happy and mix well with each other and visitors alike. The home is beautiful throughout warm and welcoming and with a beautiful resident cat "Angel' there are lovely lounges and gardens with amazing views out to sea. Lots of thought has gone into the decorations etc. All of the Staff treat the residents with courtesy and care, and very importantly on an equal level which is so lovely to see, and the same with the visitors/relatives who are always welcomed into the home with greetings and smiles. When we first visited to view the home I was so impressed with the Manager and felt instantly comfortable with the way the home is run. I can honestly say that Kerry goes the extra mile to make sure both the residents and their visitors/family are happy and this is what makes Seacroft Court

The care given to my mother is excellent. She is in a wheelchair but brought daily into the lounge / dining area by staff for meals and social connection and they always ensure the residents are happy and their needs being looked after. The staff are friendly and helpful and always have time for a chat with the residents and visitors alike.

The care home ensure there is regular entertainment, walks around the village, trips out and so on. They also ensure regular visits from hairdressers, chiropodists, vaccinations are up to date and so on.

I'm very pleased with the level of care my mother receives and I have piece of mind knowing she is happy there!

The home is cosy, everything provided is done with consideration for a homely environment. The manager is very special, supportive, intuitive, knowledgeable, fun and empathetic. My daughter loves her. I have enormous respect for her. There are many very good carers indeed, the manager supports her staff. My daughter is content and happy. The nursing staff and management supported us through my daughters illness in 2024 and the manager was vigilant and picked up any problems following so they were sorted. Staff understand the individual needs of everyone. We as a family are so relieved that our daughter has her needs met with fun and kindness. A covered area outside would be beneficial so they could enjoy fresh air and the garden but protected from the sun. Also if musicians or singers come more often to entertain them. Sammy could pay towards that our of her spending money.

I found St Michaels a very happy place to be, both all staff and people cared for are happy, well cared for, entertained, and treated. Well run what more could you wish for?

My mother has been a resident for 5 half years at Fir Close. She is now on end of life care for advanced dementia and related health issues. The staff is caring, kind and knowledgeable. I feel supported in my role as Mum's only living child. I visit frequently and always find Mum well-looked after. The staff obviously know her well and anticipate her needs. They have always listened to her.

We absolutely cannot fault The Old Rectory. Mum in Law has been so much happier since living there and has now been a resident for just over a year. Her health and wellbeing continue to be good, and she has made many friends. The staff are Wonderful and very supportive and as a family we know that Mum is safe and cared for. The Old Rectory is a busy home and there are always activities for residents to join in with. We feel reassured by the photos posted on social media too and it's lovely to see Mum so happy.
