Mum moved here a year ago, we were reluctant as the home she was in she was settled and well looked after. However I couldn't ask for better care or a better place for my mum to be! The team and management are some of the most wonderful people I have ever met. The facilities are wonderful the care and
support they give not just my mum but myself as well I couldn't ask for more.

My Mother has been at Oakemeadows since September 2025. The staff are very friendly and caring, and they make my wife and I feel very welcome when we visit. She is very happy there which makes us happy. She enjoys the entertainment which is very good. We would recommend this home.

The staff at the care home are fantastic! They are kind, caring and have an excellent understanding of mums needs. From the manager who could not be more friendly and helpful to the cleaning and care staff they all go that extra mile to support the whole family. The catering team are very happy to accommodate
with any food mum would like if she does not like a particular meal.
Mum is safe well cared for and I honestly believe loved. I could not ask for more.

The staff at Oake Meadows are all so caring, compassionate and helpful. Nothing is too much for them. My mother-in-law can be quite awkward at times but they remain very patient and always will help her. I would recommend Oake Meadows Care Home to anyone looking for a Care Home/Nursing Home.

It was a hard decision to put my mum into a nursing home. My family and I agree that Oake Meadows Nursing Home was the best choice. My mum feels happy and cared for completely. Nothing is too much trouble. She is respected and her needs are met. Well done to all the staff there and thank you.

Our Dad had been a resident at a few different homes while suffering with Vascular Dementia. Eastleigh Care Home was by far the most caring and supportive to his needs. Very welcoming home. Carers have always made me feel reassured that my friend is well cared for. The staff here are so nice, calm and nothing is ever to much trouble. They have gone above and beyond always for my friend. Sharon is amazing, such a lovely carer who is a credit to the home!

My lovely Partner, Husband and dad to our children, also a Grandad was resident in Eastleigh Nursing and Care Home Minehead from 4th January 2024 to 21st October 2025.
I visited Eastleigh on 1st January 2024 and had no hesitation in accepting the offer at the home for my loved one despite the distance
from my home in South Devon. I was delighted with the comfortable surroundings and hard working friendly staff all involved in the care of the residents.
From the first day my partner was welcomed by the Proactive Management, Nursing Staff, Healthcare Staff , not forgetting our lovely Chef and her team with all the cleaning and maintenance team who became his friends. He was so happy.
As a frequent visitor, I felt part of a family engaging with all the staff and management. Their doors were always open and I received regular updates on the health and wellbeing of my partner with dignity and compassion from all involved. I will always be grateful I chose Eastleigh and recommend to all. x

This review relates to the Willow Ward. The staff and management have been very good in care, and we have been kept informed of any developments. Food good. Carers a bit thin on the ground at times. Obviously not there 24/7, but on the whole we have had a good experience.

My elderly brother has been a permanent resident for six months. The Nursing Home Manager (Louise)
fully understood his complex needs from the outset and all the nurses/carers have showed amazing kindness constantly. The place has a warm, friendly feel and there are so many activities on offer for
the residents , if they wish to join in. The thoughtful touches like ice creams given every afternoon in heatwaves and delicious looking cakes randomly offered to the residents are a real treat for my brother, who chooses to remain in his room , but these extras always bring a smile to his face!
I live a distance away, but can phone anytime and I am updated on his meds etc every four weeks too.
The staff are always very honest about my brother and give me full updates on his condition , which is much appreciated.
Am so very glad I chose Eastleigh Minehead and would highly recommend to anyone considering it for their loved ones.

Mum has been at Oak Meadows for just over two years. She has just made the transition from residential care to nursing care.
The staff took care of everything whilst she was hospitalised and her new room is perfect. Clean, comfortable, her pictures and furniture all in place, making the room as she
likes.
As she enters palliative care the staff are nothing short of magnificent. As always, we can visit anytime, day or night, and if we are not here staff sit with mum to ensure she is not alone.
Mum is kept comfortable and treated with the utmost respect by a caring and loving staff who engage with the family to ensure all needs are met or exceeded - especially when it came to facilitating mum returning to the home from hospital.
The home is undoubtedly the best place for her. I cannot thank the staff enough for all their care and love, and that is everyone from the bottom to the top.

Since my mum moved into the care home, we have only been impressed. The support for mum and us a family has been so generous. The most recent example being a visit to the home where the manager and carer went out of their way to accommodate us. Taking mum out of the home has proved challenging recently
and so a carer went- in our opinion- over and above to set up a table 'restaurant-style', provided drinks and personal touches that enabled the visit to be a really positive one.
On a day-to-day basis, carers give me time on phone calls and the manager (and other staff) have always provided updates on how mum is. It is a challenging time for her, but as a family, we are navigating the unknown as well and I think it is down to the honest updates and, if I'm honest, the kindness and understanding for us as well as mum that I have come to be most grateful for.
The staff are always so positive and smiley. I am always impressed. Thank you all.

My mum came into care following a week in hospital. Until then she had some assistance and she had spend lockdown and a couple of years confined in her home. Mum has been in your care for one month and now she is walking further, and more upright and I can see a general improvement to her mobility and

My sister has been a long term resident of Eastleigh. My sister has received consistently good care, and it is obvious that the care team enjoy looked after her. My wife has been a resident at Eastleigh for around the last 15 months and in that time I can only give the home and their highly trained staff the highest praise for the excellent care that she receives. All of her needs both medical and personal are carry out with the upmost care, compassion and dignity
making her feel like an individual person not just a number. The excellent staff at Eastleigh not only care for my wife but also make time to talk to me making sure that I am also okay. The team at Eastleigh go the extra mile and give me total peace of mind in that I know she getting the best care that is available.

Dad became a resident in late September 2024. When my brother and I looked at the room that was available we knew that this was the place for him. Dad was transferred to Eastleigh from a local hospital, on end of life care. During his time there, the staff and management nursed Dad with love, care respect
and dignity, and they also showed us as a family the same, nothing was too much trouble and answered any questions we asked. No words can really express the sincere gratitude we have for everyone at Eastleigh, and we know that Dad spent his final months surrounded by angels that truly cared for him. Should anyone find themselves in the position we were, we cannot recommend Eastleigh Care Homes high enough.

I wouldn't wish a homeless person coming in here. This isn't a care home but a dumping ground for the elderly people who have dementia. My poor mum was shut in a shed-like room. We were told she couldn't go into the lounge or dining room or take part in activities, that's if they had any. Her room was
clean but that's it. Mum's Christmas gift went missing including most of Mum's clothes. It's certainly not a loving homely place at all. Prison is better than this place so please be aware of you choosing this place to care for your loved one.
