My wife was taken ill when my family and I visited several nursing homes that would cater for her needs. We selected Eastfield as it had a relaxed atmosphere with a variety of activities. My wife has been in Eastfield for one year and we do not regret our choices for the care and support she receives.

My husband has Parkinson's and dementia with Lewy Bodies which means that as he has deteriorated, he has needed more nursing care. This is provided by an excellent group of nurses and carers. The home has recently undergone renovation, carpets in corridors have been removed meaning it is now noisier
and nothing to absorb the sound. Groups of chairs at the end of corridors have been removed, sad because they provided places where residents and families could sit and chat. The owners seem to have lost sight of the fact that this is a peoples home.
Reply from RAJESH AYYAPPAN, Home Manager at Ashbourne Court Care HomeThank you for the feed back ,Discussed with the customer arm chairs has been placed also waiting for further deliveries of armchairs for communal areas, part of home refurbishment , new rubberised wheels are sourced for reducing the noise Kind regards Raj

We selected Hamble Heights on the reviews and a personal visit. I must say we were impressed from the start.
We were greeted upon our arrival and shown around. You could just sense, that this nursing home really did care for their residents and went the extra mile. All of the staff, not just the carers,
go above and beyond, they were in fact exceptional.
Our mother was there for just under eight weeks and was looked after so well. When our mother passed, that staff came in and paid their respects and were genuinely upset.
No one wants to see their love one pass, but when it has to happen, Hamble Heights is the nursing home to take care of them.
They really are exceptional.

My dad was admitted to Hamble Heights at the end of January 2025, with a life expectancy of 6 - 8 weeks, due to the care and support he received from the staff he exceeded that timeline by 12 months.
On my first initial visit to the service Rachel answered all my questions and concerns with honesty
and compassion, when shown around the service everyone was kind, caring and welcoming.
Sadly on 1st March, dad passed away, and the care and attention dad received from all staff the evening before and during that day, was outstanding and of immense comfort to me and my brother. We had left dad so he could get some rest but when things took a turn for the worse, the nurse called us to return immediately, on our arrival back at the home we were taken aback to see dad surrounded by the nurses and carers, until we'd got there. That image will remain with me until the end.
We cannot even begin to thank all the staff of Hamble Heights for their care and compassion throughout dad's stay. THANK YOU

My grandma has just spent the last 2 years at Ashbourne Court. She has had five star treatment. From reception to carers. From food to the best entertainment. Staff especially. I cannot of wished for her to have been anywhere else. It not only impacted on her life but made our relationships more fulfilled
until her last days. Thank you.
Reply from RAJESH AYYAPPAN, Home Manager at Ashbourne Court Care Homegood afternoon Katy Thank you for the feedback and choosing Ashbourne Court for your grandma's stay, it was a pleasure to have your grandma, and you were such a kind family in support of her and to the staff. My partner came to Hamble Heights in December 2025. From the moment we arrived it felt homely. All the staff are caring, considerate and considerate to the residents and visitors. I can't thank Hamble Heights staff enough for the care they give my partner. I also would like to thank the management and
administration staff for their hands on involvement in my partners wellbeing.

My mother was only a resident for a short time but during her stay at Hamble Heights i was impressed by the manager and her senior team who were most helpful and approachable at all times. The activity team worked really hard to include all residents with a diverse range of things to do. The nursing
staff were excellent. Food was generally of a high standard.
I would recommend this care home to anyone looking for a pleasant, secure environment for their loved one.

My mother was at Hamble Heights for 2 years and except for when she first went enjoyed her time there . She took time to settle but once she did she made friends and enjoyed taking part in all the activities .
She became ill about six weeks before she passed away. The care shown to her and us as her
family was exemplary. Nothing was too much trouble.
I don't live in the area and the staff have been so supportive and helpful. I would definitely recommend Hamble Heights as a caring community who keep the residents safe, cared for and stimulated by the activities.

The standard of care provided by the staff is very good and the nursing care is excellent.
My only criticism is that the room is in poor condition and requires attention. Some of the furniture is broken and the desk has seen better days.

My aunt arrived initially needing respite for 2 months in September 2024. But her needs were that she needed long term care so she became a permanent resident and the care home management helped her and the family to get her settled which was very helpful and reassuring at such a difficult time her
needs were met adequately and we were very happy with the staff who kept us informed of any issues that arose. We couldn't of asked for any more care and consideration they gave my aunt and us as a family right to her final ending in September 2025.
Reply from RAJESH AYYAPPAN, Home Manager at Ashbourne Court Care Homegood evening Thank you for the feedback will review the areas of improvement needed and and do the needful Kind regards Raj

Ashbourne Court is a very caring nursing home y late father was here nearly 3 years ago, so having seen and had knowledge of the home, that is why when my dear friend need help, I put Ashbourne Court forward to the family. Management is very good, any problems you may have they will listen, take on
board and sort it out. We all know that be it family member or friend nobody want to go into a nursing home. So I feel that this nursing home does it's very best to make them feel at home.

My mum has settled very well into the care home due to the quality of care and support she has received. She has built up positive connections with the staff caring for her and other residents, which has been wonderful to see! Mum really enjoys the activities and meals each day - both are great opportunities
for socialising and stimulation. From my first visit, I felt the care home had a 'family' feel to it and was the right place for mum to be - our experience fully reflects this. I am so grateful for the support, care and experiences that mum is receiving at Ashbourne Court.
Reply from RAJESH AYYAPPAN, Home Manager at Ashbourne Court Care HomeThank you for the very positive review and will look in to improve further according to the rating Yours sincerely Home Manager

Overall impression of staff, from reception, management, to care assistance and nursing staff is overwhelmingly positive. To put it simply, it's clear they care about the welfare of the residents. Where it lets itself down, in activities, many don't seem to happen, there are not that many or a good
range.
Reply from RAJESH AYYAPPAN, Home Manager at Ashbourne Court Care HomeThank you for the positive feed back and will look in to the matters raised for improving Kind regards
